Day 43, 4/27/2020..New Windows put in, Made more masks, New chairs from Aldi

I made three face masks out of this material today.  Perfect for a farm girl I know.

New chairs Vikki and I each got for our porches at Aldi's

Didn't get to walk on the treadmill today, but got 11,000 steps today. Walked outside today.  Pastor Ken taught our devotion on Psalm 103:1-5.  It's one of my favorite Scriptures and one I used to say to the girls, and also would say to Kenzie every time I took her to school.  It's a great memory and I write it in her cards sometimes.  Pastor's message was excellent on it.  Vikki stopped over to pick up her green peppers I got at Pat's when she was done picking up the kids school packets.  It was nice seeing them and Lucy.  I made 3 more face masks.  Need to get more stuff for ties before I can make any more.  I washed the windows in the house inside and out.  Nice to have that job done.  Vikki got a nice rocking chair from Aldi's.  Vikki and I met at Aldi's and she got one more chair and I got two.  They had marks on the floor and almost everyone had face masks on.  We weren't in there long because we knew exactly what we wanted.  A nice worker outside told us if we pulled up, he would load the chairs for us.  Vikki just had the one so put it in her car herself.  I pulled up, and he put them in the back of the truck for me.  Bill had a Zoom Elder's meeting tonight.  The Mission's team approved supporting CMA and then tonight the Elder's voted on Zoom.  Everyone gave a thumbs up.  Dad is so happy as he is the one who presented it with Dennis Watkin's help.  Such a great Mission to support.  I talked to Melissa, Vikki and texted Kimmy today.

Read our Bibles and prayed before our online church service started.  Amazing worship and a great message today.  So special that they had videos of each family that had newborn babies in the past month.  4 sweet and beautiful baby girls.  The videos were so cute.  Bill worked on pens and I sat on the back deck reading my book.  I talked to Melissa on the phone, but hung up to answer Gayla's call.  She said she was at my front door leaving something on the porch for me.  I told her to wait so I could come say hi through the door.  We had a nice visit and it sure was nice to see her.  She brought my birthday present because she didn't eat to wait any longer.  I went back and read some more on my book until Bill was ready to go on our ride.  We went to Frankenmuth, then went by my friend, Vikki, parent's house that is for sale because they moved.  Came home the scenic route and ate nacho supremes.  We got online for our church prayer time with Pastor Ken and Joan.  We went to Pat's to get some groceries.  Only about 4 shoppers in the store which was nice.  We got everything we needed except kleenex and lysol spray and wipes.  Vikki called and was waiting at our house with Peyton.  We came home and visited with them for a while and watched the sunset.  They picked up sticks in the yard for us which was very nice.  Thank you so much.  Watched the news and read more on my book.

So nice visiting in our comfy chairs and drinking coffee with Melissa while we visited
When she wasn't being held by Hailey, Abby was lying in the window
Ha ha, somehow I ended up in the picture with them
Bruce trying to show us that he doesn't really wear leggings lol.  I got that from Vikki's comment on Facebook

Beautiful sunset across the road
545 cases and 43 deaths

We slept in until 8:15.  I called Melissa after I gave her enough time to sleep in.  Wished her a Happy Birthday and so did Bill.  She is 45 today and I am so thankful God gave her to us.  She is a gift from him and has been such a blessing in our lives.  She's always loving, kind and sweet and has such a strong faith in the Lord Jesus.  I got Evan's birthday present ready and filled out his card.  We are dropping it off today, so he will be able to open it on his birthday.  I also made a birthday sign for Melissa.  Bill came in when I almost had it done and told me to write Halfpint on it.  He loves his Halfpint!  I thought it was so cute, so I squeezed it in.  I picked up my order from Sam's Club.  They were only letting a certain number in the store, so when a person came out another could go in.  They had marks for people to stand on while waiting in line.  The girl told me they didn't have curb side pick up, but then told me to park on the side by the door.  In a few minutes she told me they would bring my order out.  It took them 10 minutes to find it.  A guy put it in my trunk and was very nice.  I didn't have to get close to anyone.  I talked to them out the far window and they stayed back and wore masks.  Almost everyone wore masks.  There were about 3 or 4 people without that were customers.  Not too smart!  I was happy to see everyone being so careful. When I got home I got Bill from his shed and we went to visit Melissa.  We got some comfy camping chairs out of the camper and took them with us.  It was in the high 50's and sunny so we stayed for quite a while.  It was such a nice visit and we loved seeing everyone, especially the birthday girl.  It was fun watching her open her card (which we almost forgot).  We came home and I made pizza for dinner.  I was in the utility room and I saw that my neighbor behind us had bright pink lights in the windows over their garage.  Then it clicked that it must be a reflection of a beautiful sunset. I was headed to see it when Isaac FaceTimed me just then and told me to look at the sunset.  I did and it was absolutely beautiful.  My picture doesn't do it justice.

Day 40, Friday 4/24/2020...Devotion, Did Newsletter, Read Book

Borrowed these pictures of Evan from Melissa...He spent lots of time sorting his magnetic balls by colors.....Not an easy task
He was very happy when he got them all sorted.  Pretty amazing that he could put them together in this square

Great job Evan!
Peyton's legos she ordered came today and she put them together right away.  She loves legos now! I borrowed some pictures from Vikki too.
Peyton taking the banana bread she made out of the oven.
Wow, now I have two little leaves coming out of the leaf I rooted. So happy!
Beautiful sunset today!

We watched Pastor do the devotion online.  I walked 2 1/4 miles on the treadmill.  We had oatmeal and read our Bibles and prayed after ate.  I read some on my book.  Bill took a shower and then went to the shed to work on some more pens.  I cleaned the Kernel Burner.  Big messy job that I am glad to have done.  Bill wanted to go for a ride, but I wanted to get the big job done.  He said he didn't mind waiting.  When I got done, which was a while, he was settled in comfy on his side of the loveseat all reclined.  Vikki called me, than a couple minutes after that while we were talking, Adam texted me, then a minute after that Kimmy called so I hung up from Vikki to talk to her, then after I talked to Kimmy a few minutes, Melissa called so I hung up from Kimmy to talk to Melissa.  I didn't hear from anyone all day and then they all called and Adam texted within 5-7 minutes.  I made dinner while I talked to Melissa.  Made air roasted chicken breasts with Terakyi sauce and cubed air roasted potatoes.  Also made corn.  Only took a half hour and was so yummy.  I sat outside for a while when I was talking to Melissa too.  It was sunny and nice.  It was cold all morning and no sunshine.  Bill and I were going to go for a walk at 8, but decided it was too cold for us.  Warmer weather is coming starting tomorrow.  He worked on finishing a pen and I did finished the Newsletter for Faith Riders.
