Everything is folded away.  You roll up the carpet and there are places to fasten ties to the motorcycle when you park it to haul.

Bill went with Charlie for coffee.  I read my Bible and listened to worship music.  We still didn't have power this morning.  They said it will be on at 5:30 today.  I'm thankful Bill has the generator running, keeping our freezers and refrigerators cold, and letting us use lights in the dining room, living room,  one light in the shower of our bathroom.  We left at 1:15 and went to take our camper to have it checked over for a trade n.  We waited about an hour and then did the paperwork and then left with our new camper.  We got home and Vikki, and the kids came over to see it.  A short time later, Rody came over.  We had to go to our Faith Rider's Meeting at 6.  Rode the motorcycle there.  Beautiful evening for a ride.  There were quite a few missing tonight.  We rode back home after the great meeting, and then decided to spend the night in the camper.  We packed up what we needed and went out there and sat for a while, then slept.  We both slept good.

We went to breakfast at Tony’s on State St.  Not many there which was wonderful.  We had tried Levi’s and Bringer Inn, but both were too packed for our comfort.  We were going to go look at Toy Hauler RV’s and a motorhome Bill had found in the area.  Our first stop was Hamilton’s RV.  They had a toy hauler and motorhome.  We both loved the toy hauler (can put our motorcycle inside when traveling, so Bill can drive the 5th wheel instead of me.  It was laid out beautifully and is so nice.  Bill talked the salesman into giving us a great price for our 5th wheel we traded in.  He told them he really wanted to do business here, rather than going to Birch Run where our next stop would be.  They guy checked with his manager twice and both time came back with another thousand for ours until it was at the price Bill asked for.  I walked through campers while he wheeled and dealed.  They gave us $2,000 less than we paid for it.  It’s 3 years old and did have a few easy things that need fixing.  They wrote up some paperwork, will go through the one we are getting again to make sure everything is working, and will send us a video of how everything works.  We will bring ours and pick up the Voltage RV tomorrow.  We came home, and Vikki and the kids came over.  We all completely emptied our 5th wheel and hauled everything to the shed and to the garage.  Some stuff we put in the house too.  My there was lots of stuff.  Vikki worked hard and was so fast.  What a huge help she was.  Bill and the kids emptied the outside storage area.  The kids also picked up sticks that had blown down in the storm.  I swept it out and dusted. I had cleaned it when we were at BayShore because we had water.  We finished and Vikki and the kids left.  We got ready and drove by the camper place to make sure they took the camper in to start looking over.  They did.  We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner at around 8 p.m.  They had two seats right away for us and we were at an end by ourselves.  All the employees were wearing masks, so we were happy about that.  We had stopped at Outback first and they were all wearing masks too.  They only had one half of the restaurant open and it was a 45 minute wait.  They said they would text us when there was an opening.  We left, but texted them a few minutes later when we got right in at the Texas Roadhouse.  The food was so delicious.  The steak practically melted in our mouths it was so tender.  The prices were less that Outback prices too.  It was a fun day and evening.  So thankful to have Bill to do life with.  God has sure blessed me with him and with such an amazing family.

Tues., 9/7/21, Packed camper, Picked campground garbage up, came home, unpacked camper, bad storm, lost power, Celebrated Peyton and Isaac's Birthdays

BayShore is pretty deserted this morning
We took the golf cart and drove around the campground.   Emptied trash barrels and turned them upside down.  Only had two loads as Don and Brett picked the rest up already which was so nice of them to offer to do for Bill
Bev was walking her dog while we were driving up the road
We walked back after leaving the cart off.  Bill by the Tabernacle
Our power went off while we were napping in the love seat.  Ha ha, no power to sit our reclining seats up, so we had to leave them like this.
Peyton and Isaac ready to blow their candles out

I had fun driving the car on Isaac's game.  I got pretty dizzy at the end.  Not as easy as I thought it would be.  I went off the road a few times, and even went through a corn field. Rody was getting a good laugh!  Bill didn't want to try it.
Papa and Isaac

Peyton and me playing her new game.  Lenny wanted to keep his paw on me

It was so sweet of Bruce and Melissa to get these piñatas for the kids because it was their special 10 yr. birthdays.  They filled them with candy for them.  The kids had so much fun trying to break them, and we had fun watching them

Peyton ready to start

Isaac took a video, papa watched and Peyton swung away.  It didn't take her too long to break it open
Isaac's turn.  Rody wasn't to brave, he kind of stood behind the wall while Isaac swung
Peyton and Papa watching Isaac as he starts trying to hit it.  It didn't take him too long to break it either.  Just enough time for them both to have fun doing it.
Bill finally decided to try driving too.  He did pretty good, but got dizzy too!
Isaac showing papa how to play

My plants were looking beautiful.  We must have gotten enough water while we were gone

Bill reading his Bible with the light switch LED light Vikki got us for the camper

Bill got up early so he could leave the campground by 7 to take the dunk tank back.  The kids sure had fun with it.  I ate, drank my coffee, then packed everything up and secured stuff in the camper.  I did some of the stuff outside for Bill too.  When he got back he finished the outside stuff, then we drove around picking up trash.  We said goodbye to Bev and Ron and then dumped our tank and left.  It was a good drive home with not much traffic.  I always pray for that when I have to haul the 5th wheel.  We got home and Bill unpacked his clothes and stuff, and I unpacked the rest.  He mowed the grass.  We were both trying to get done before the storm came.  Kimmy called, so I ran out to let Bill know it was raining, hailing, strong winds, a pole down by their driveway, and they were without power.  He got done a few minutes later before the storm hit.  I put everything away that could blow on the deck, and got everything off the pool deck.  The pool stayed nice and clean so that was great.  We were both tired when we got in, so we took naps before we had to leave for Vikki's.  When we woke up, our power was out.  We found out when we went to get out of our recliners and the power button wouldn't work.  We had to crawl out of them.  I called Kimmy to let her know we were without power too, since I told them they could come here if they needed too.  Now we were in the same boat.  Jared looked and told us it was supposed to be back on at 2:30 tomorrow.  We went to Vikki's.  We saw lots of trees and power lines down.  There were many in our area that were without power.  We had fun singing happy birthday, giving a little birthday spanking and a pinch to grow an inch to each of the kids, and eating cupcakes and ice cream.  They were really good too.  They opened their cards.  We had already given them their presents.  We had so much fun playing games, and watching the kids break their piñatas.  We charged all of our devices and chargers there. Vikki gave me a nice charger to take home to use, and Rody gave us a nice bright light to use.  Bill had to read his Bible on the couch and I went to the Lazy Boy to read mine.  When we were done, we just had candle light because we wanted to save the batteries in the lanterns and battery operated lights.  It was a fun night for sure!  Texted Adam today.  Talked to Melissa too.
