Sunday, 8/11/24, Went to prayer, taught Sunday School with Cassy, Helped set up fellowship Hall for Max’s graduation party, The Party went great, went to Melissa's

We went to prayer, than worship and church service.  I left after worship and taught Sunday School with Cassy.  She’s the leader of the elementary grades.  She’s young and has an amazing love for the Lord and love for kids.  She’s doing a great job.  She helped me today because I can’t use my right hand and there was a cool water activity today and I can’t get my splint wet.  We had fun doing it and Kristen was in with Thomas so the three of us had fun with the kids.  After church, we visited for a while, then I went to get subs for Bill and I because we didn’t eat in the morning.  Roy and Marie were at Subway when I walked in.  I Was so happy to see them.  Guess we had the same good idea.

When I got back to church, Melissa, Bruce, Hailey, Jack and Evan were there.  Kimmy, Jared, Adam and Eli got there a few minutes later.  The church had tables set up already, but we needed to set up one more.  Nice not having to set tables and chairs up, then have to take them down later.  Nice our church just let us use the room for free too!  It didn’t take long and everything was decorated and looked so nice.  I could only help with easy things because of my hand being in a splint.  People started coming a few minutes after 4 and all seemed to come around the same time and stayed for a long time.  It was so much fun!  When Max got there, he headed right for the dessert cups Bruce made “dirt” in.  That’s Max’s favorite dessert!  They had lots of bowls with gummy worms, Kit Kat cut in small pieces, Reeses Pieces, and so many other toppings to put on.  It was so funny that Max headed to that first thing.  Bruce had delicious homemade pulled pork, coleslaw and potato salad, plus lots of pizza’s.  Other desserts they had were chocolate chip cookies Kimmy and Bill and I made and a yummy graduation cake!

We missed Vikki.  She tested positive for Covid still.  She came down with it because she had all the sick kids stay at her house, so none of the rest of us would get it. She is such a sweet person!

Bruce’s dad started taking all the center pieces off the tables around 6:15.  They told him the party went til 7, but he kept going, then all the guys started taking the one half of the rooms table cloths off and cleaning up.  Chrystal, Michael and Noelle came and
Chrystal asked if they were too late when she saw them cleaning up.  We told her no and Melissa, Hailey and I sat with them.  Bill came and visited for a while too.  Then at 7 everyone started cleaning up.  Crystal and family stayed, so I visited with them and held sleepy Noelle for a while.  I felt bad not being able to help, but with my right hand out of commission, I couldn’t have done much anyway.  I sure loved seeing Chrystal and family getting to visit with them.  They are such sweet friends.

I went to Melissa’s after the party because I forgot to bring Max’s card, so I wanted to give it to him.  It was such a fun day

Sat.. 8/10/24, Went to Faith Riders Meeting, Bill mowed the lawn, Bill loaded stuff in truck for Max’s party tomorrow, dropped off some food at Vikki’s porch, watched a movie

Apples Bill picked off our apple tree

I only took this one picture today,  I played worship music in the morning.  We went to Faith Rider’s Chapter Meeting today.  It was our Memorial and Memorial ride for members who have passed away.  Bill rode the trike and I drove in the car because of my hand being in the healing process.  We had a good breakfast and good fellowship, then the meeting started.  I was so touched when all of the officers shared and Bill shared as State Coordinator.  Paul, their area rep that took our place shared too.  They are all such special servants of the Lord and have hearts for Jesus.  They sue glorified the Lord!  God is doing amazing things in the chapter.  Bill decided to come home and mow the grass instead of going on the ride.

We read our Bibles.  We both rested for about an hour first.  He mowed the grass, while I ordered some things.
I went outside to sit on the swing with Kit Kat.  It was cool out so I took a blanket.  Vikki called to see what I was doing. She hasn’t been able to go get groceries, so wanted to cook meatloaf and asked if I could pick some items up for her,  I had peppers in the garden so picked fresh ones to take her from here.  Picked some cherry tomatoes too and took some to her.  I have enough green peppers to make stuffed peppers, so picked some ground chuck up for me too.  Picked a couple of surprise things up for Vikki too.  She sent me Apple Pay but I didn’t let her pay for the surprises.  She has been such a blessing having Evan and Hailey spend time with them and doing fun things with them.

There was a fatal 4 car accident a mile and a fourth from our house.  When I came back from Vikki’s I had to do a U turn and go back to the last road to go around it.  I made sausage and pancakes for dinner, ate, cleaned up. the kitchen with Bill’s help, then left to go
with Melissa and Hailey to get balloons. We went three places and didn’t find any graduation balloons that were cute.  I headed back home and still had to go around the accident.  I prayed lot for those involved and their families.

Bill and I watched a movie.  It was a Christian movie but it sure was tense.  Worked on the blog after that.

Friday, 8-9-24, Bill and I made cookies for Max’s graduation party, fed birds, cleaned feeders

Bill helped me make the cookies for Max’s graduation party today.  Not being able to use my right hand is sure a bummer.  I am so thankful Bill is helping me so much with everything I can’t do.  He did most of the cookie making today and I did the baking.

He is so aamazi
Adam texted me that his dad taught him how to drive the jeep last night.  He said it was fun.  I asked if anyone took a picture and he sent me this.  I’m proud of him for learning to drive stick shift!

I ate breakfast, listened to worship music, then took my shower, and then sat with Bill and we read our Bibles.  He went outside afterwards and power washed the motorhome and his motorcycle.  I washed bird feeders and filled all the feeders. We baked two batches of cookies after tha for a total of 52 cookies.  We had to sample some to make sure they were good for the party  We had so much fun doing it together. We both decided we don’t want to open a bakery though lol. I talked to Vikki, Kimmy and texted with Melissa.  Facetimed with Kenzie and Rehvyn.  I was able to do my hair after it dried which I’m happy about.  Kenzie and Vikki offered to do it for me for church and the party afterwards, but this will be easier.  Enjoyed sitting on the deck for a while.  Talked to Melissa again.  Called Barb to see if she got her CAT Scan results on her kidneys.  She’s a dear friend who’s been having lots of health issues.  We laid hands on her and prayed for her at BayShore so are believing for a good report.

thurs., 8/8/24, Happy 26th Anniversary Melissa and Bruce, Bill took a picture of Max to Melissa, he dropped off some stuff at Vikki’s too, I put on worship music and read my Bible, we went to Camping world and General RV, then to Old Town Drive In

Had a Monarch on my Butterfly Bush
Bill wanted to take these pictures to fool the kids into thinking we got a new camper

This candle warmer came from amazon today.  We looked inside and there was a gift card saying it was from our sister Angie and to think of her whenever I used it. I sure will!  I called her and she said she got all the sisters one! So sweet of her!!! It works so good and has a 2, 4, and 6 hour timer. The candles smell so much better melting instead of burning!
I finally hung the two things I got at Hobby Lobby with Kenzie on the wall by the mirror in the hallway.

Vikki took the kids to Haithco Park today.  The cousins had so much fun together!  Vikki is sure a fun mom/aunt!

I called Melissa and wished her a happy anniversary and she told me they went out for coffee, got yummy cinnamon rolls at a bread shop and were going to their favorite place, the Maple Grill for lunch.  I played worship videos on tv then went outside afterwards and read my Bible.  Of course Kit Kat came for some attention.

It was another no pain no swelling day with my hand.  I am so thankful to God!  No medicine needed now.  I never did feel pain but took the medicine because they told me to stay ahead of the pain.  Amazing and my fingers are so straight again now.

I did some cutting off of dead rose blossoms and sprayed my Hybiscus plant because i noticed bugs had eaten some of the leaves.  I don't want anything happeming to it because it is so beautiful with so many blossoms.

Bill had to do porch dropoffs at Vikki's and Melissa's this morning.  It was Melissa and Bruce's 26th anniversary today, but he forgot.  He dropped off donuts though, so Melissa thought it was because of their anniversary so she didnt know til later he forgot, when he actually remembered and told her Happy Anniversary.

We had to go to Birch Run to have them print out a receipt for our grill we got at Camping World.  It melted when we cooked potatoes in foil on it.  Very weird because the potatoes weren't burnt.  We have only used the grill about 4times

We went to General RV after we got done at Camping World to look at a couple of motorhomes Bill saw online that were toy haulers.  I didnt really care for any of them.  I love what we have.  We did see a Weber Grill that will fit in our storage compartment of our camper.  It has cast iron inside to cook on!!!! i never knew the other nes weerent cast iron til this happened.

When we got home I was so happy when i opened my gift from Angie!  It was so nice talking to her to.  I texted with our sister Tina too which was so nice.  They are coming herre together in September so I wanted them to know thet can stay with us if they want.
