Bill...his shed is almost done

Went to church.  Worship was really good.  Peyton came and sat on my lap for a little while.  Pastor's message was rally good.  Went back with Stacie to pick up Kody so I could see him.   He gave me a big hug.  Went home and made goulash.  I had put the burger in the crockpot in the morning so that part was done so it didn't take long to make.   We ate and then Bruce, Melissa and the kids came over and brought their trailer to park.  The kids went to the trampoline right away and started jumping.  I had made brownies when I heard they were coming and just took them out of the oven.  The kids and Melissa came in and had some with cider.  We went outside and took some pictures.  Glad I remembered to do that.  It was so beautiful outside.  After they left, Bill and I started going over our lesson for care group.  Kenzie came over and packed some more stuff to take and took most of her clothes.  She took some goulash to work with her and also a couple of brownies.  She found an ugly spider in the garage and wanted me to come out and see it.  I went out and was so happy it was dead.  It looked like a mini tarantula we both thought.  UGLY!
She left for work and Bill and I finished going through our lesson.  We left for care group.  Great snacks tonight and great lesson.  We are learning so much good stuff to apply to our lives.  Nancy and Randy volunteered to have our care group at their house in January because Pastor doesn't want the care group leaders to have to worry about cleaning the house or getting ready for group.
Nice that Pastor is being so thoughtful, but never minded having it at our house.  Watched Fixer Upper with Bill.

10/22/16...Went for a Faith Riders Dinner Run to Logan's and then to hear Hailey in the Honor's Choir and Honor's Band

Hailey is in the last row about 3 from the left.

Hailey is in front of the tall guy in back near the middle

Beautiful Hailey after the concert.  So proud of her being in the Honors Choir and Band

Spent my time with the Lord and then did some cleaning.  Bill is coming along really good with his shed.  It sure looks great.  Put corn husks from the garden into garbage cans to go Tuesday.  Went to Logan's at 3.  I drove and Bill took the motorcycle.  We got the two for $15.00 special. I had Salmon and he got ground steak.  Luis an Eva were there and then a half hour after we were visiting, Kenny came.  Saw Sam Shaw there when I was leaving.  I had to leave early so I could go to Hailey's Honor's Choir and Band Concert.  They sounded so good.  Loved being there and hearing the beautiful songs and music. Hailey did great and so did all the others.  Got some thank you's written and in the mail.  Bill and I watched a Movie called God's Club and then watched the news.  Took a personality test online that Pastor wanted everyone in the care groups to take.  I am an ISFJ Defender.

10/20/16...Went to the dentist for a tooth extraction

Had an 11 a.m. dental appointment.  Got to the office and while waiting in the waiting room a lady sat right next to me.  She noticed a baby on my phone and asked if it was my grandchild.  I told her no and that someone had put that on and it was amazing.  I let her watch it.  It was a baby around a 11 mos. who didn't have arms so was feeding herself with a spoon using her feet.  She was amazing at it.  The lady said it was a miracle.  Then I told her about he miracle God had done for Melissa.  She was amazed and so touched.  I thanked the Lord for that opportunity.  The lady was a Christian and was so encouraged.  She was a retired principal and she still mentors 2 inner city principals to help them.  She said the kids need someone to hug them and listen to them and it's amazing what that does.  They called us both back at the same time.  My dentist is wonderful.  I didn't feel the shots or anything after that.  He took the bridge off and extracted the tooth.  My insurance only covers simple extractions.  I went to pay and he had written a simple extraction.  He sure did make it easy.  He's great.  His whole office staff is amazing.  So glad when I prayed about who to pick on the list, God had me pick him.  I put ice on it when I got home, but never had any pain or problems.  We went to Pastor Ken's and Joan's for dinner with Tina and Chris.  Joan made yummy chicken and dumplings and I brought brownies and a cake Rich Neuwirth gave me the recipe for.  Everyone loved it.  We listened to the Elder training tapes and discussed them.  Chris is becoming an elder.  Love our Pastor and Joan.  They are so kind and caring.

10/21/16....Kimmy, Vikki and Melissa came over for the day! Bill helped Kenzie move some of her stuff and a heavy piano

Lenny likes looking out the window!  He's so cute and such a good dog!

Kimmy and Vikki came over.  We haven't turned on our heat yet, so I handed out blankets.  Bill helped Kenzie move.  He went to help her move a piano first. That made him very tired.  Melissa didn't come over, so I finally called to see where she was.  She fell asleep.  She got ready and came over.
I gave her my electric throw because I knew she would need it more than the rest of us.  We ate turkey sandwiches, hickory stick, crackers and cheese for lunch.  Vikki had a PB&J.
No problems where the dentist took my tooth out.  No pain and no swelling.  So happy and thankful for all the prayers.  We went to Wes and Gayla's barn sale, but didn't find anything we wanted.  They invited us out to eat at 7.  Came home and did some cleaning upstairs.  Went to Country Buffet a 6:45.  Wes, Gayla, Louise and Becky got there shortly after us.  The food was delicious.  We came to our house and played 3-13 afterwards.  Wes won and Becky was the big loser.  We had fun.  Kenzie came to take a shower and pack some more stuff.  Vikki had a surprise visiter today.  Cole stopped in.  He is such a nice young man.  Very thoughtful and kind.

My birthday twinsies

Lennox loves looking out the window!  He's watching the neighbor!

Kimmy and Vikki came to breakfast this morning.  We were so happy to have them there on their birthday.  Bill and I got them a birthday cake. We all had some and it was very good.  Bill and I went to the hospital to visit a lady Fran wanted us to go see.  Went to Melissa's afterwards and took her a Mocha and a nutty donut.  Kimmy and Vikki went to let Misty's dog out and stopped at Tim Horton's on their way back.  I told them to pick up what they wanted there and I would get it for them.  We all went to Salvation Army and walked around for a while and then came to my house.
We visited for a while.  Jared came around 12:30 and it was nice having him visit with us too.  He was looking at some old pictures so we had fun doing that with him.  Made him and Melissa spaghetti for lunch.  The rest of us were still to full from our breakfast.  Everyone left to get kiddos and then a little while after that, Kenzie came.  She walked into the family room thinking she would find her mom and aunt Kimmy but I told her they had to leave.  She was disappointed that she missed seeing them.  She wanted to wish them Happy Birthday. She and I ate some squash I had just made.  She also had spaghetti squash with spaghetti sauce on it.  She's my healthy eater.
We went shopping at Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Penney's, Sears, Gordman's, Target and then back to Gordman's.  We got a comforter set for her Birthday and Christmas!  Talked a lot about Jesus, the rapture, being ready, etc.  Sure love that girl!   Sure loved spending time with Kimmy and Vikki on their birthday.

10/17/16...Bill is excited.....He gets to have lunch with Connie Stevens....I am excited for him

Program signed for Bill by Connie Stevens
Connie Stevens signed this picture for Bill

Bill and Connie Stevens

Today was a special day for Bill.  He had checked on going to see Connie Stevens for Town Talk, but was told he would have to by the yearly membership for $135.  Our dear friend, Sue, got him
a ticket from someone she knew that wasn't able to go.  Praise God!  He has been looking so forward to today.  When he was in Vietnam, Connie was there and asked for 4 guys named Bill to come on the stage.  Dad moved fast and was one of them.  Some of the other's names weren't even Bill.  She danced with Bill and sang Wedding Bell Blues.  (Will you marry me Bill) and she kissed him.  It was a special day for him over there.  Always love hearing him tell of it.  Well today, he got to go see her again and sat right next to her table.  She signed an 8 x 10 picture of her for him and wrote, Dear Bill, Will you marry me Still? and signed her name.  She also signed the program for him saying how happy she was to see him again, and signed Love you forever.   Bill was so happy for this special day which makes me very happy.  She said they probably wouldn't ever see each other again and he told her, We will in heaven, if you know Jesus.  He always knows how to plant a good seed.  Praying she thinks about that.  We watched a dvd of her taking a group of nurses who had served in Vietnam, back over there 25 years later.  It was so touching.  Very hard for these nurses to look back on all the lives lost.  They were so young to go through all that and so were our men.  Praying for all the Vietnam and other veterans for healing of their minds and emotions when they come back.  My heart goes out to them.  So proud of my sweetie for serving then and now for serving the Lord the way he does.  Love, Love, Love him!!!

Good job Jack, Peyton, and Isaac!  Nana is so proud of you!  You did great

Isaac in Sunday School

The kids did such a good job today singing in church and doing the motions.
We had a missionary speak today.  Very good and interesting.  Picked up 2 nutty donuts
for a guy in our church to bribe him to come to care group.  We also got one for us.  Came home and made spaghetti for dinner.  Rich came to care group with his wife and was blessed and was a blessing.  We had 13 of us there tonight.  Very good lesson on resolving conflict and great discussion afterwards.  Tomorrow Bill gets to go to Town Talk and see Connie Stevens. I am so excited for him and praying for it to be really special for him.
