We had the guy at the photo booth take these pictures while we were there

Got up and wished each other Happy Valentines.  Dad gave me a good morning kiss and I said how about a Hallmark Kiss.  It's Valentines you know!  He was so funny and sure did give me a Hallmark Kiss.  He's so cute!  Went to Ollie in the morning.  We got our steps walking to the office to sign up for Ollie.  They were working in a little hallway, so what should have taken a couple of minutes took lots longer because we had to walk way around.  We went and saved a table after that.  Charlie and Sue got there shortly after.  We had 3 other people join our table.  Abraham and Marry Lincoln did a great job.  They were nice to come around to talk to us too.  We had the guy at our table take our picture with them.
Came home and Bill went to try to get Charlie and Sue a ticked for the Valentine Dinner and Dance, but they were out.  I went shopping and picked up some extra Valentine bags to put stuff in for the grandkids.  Got a red top to wear with my black skirt tonight.  The maroon dress I had would have clashed with Bill's red blazer.  Good deal...only $14.  I got home and packed Valentine Bags for the grandkids.  Delivered Melissa's kiddos, but then had to go home and get ready for the Sweetheart Dinner and Dance.  We called Jared and sang Happy Birthday to him and wished him a happy birthday.  Wished all of them a Happy Valentine's Day.  Left and went to the Horizon's.  We sat with George and Linda.  We were surprised and happy to see Debbie and Tom there. Kenny and Kitty were there too.  The food was delicious.  Bill picked out chicken for us.  They had delicious red potatoes, carrots, string beans, asparagus and red peppers.  Delicious chocolate cake for dessert.  We danced and visited after that.  I talked to Dorothy Franz and she goes to church with my brother John's best friend from school.  I told her to let him know that John is Born Again.  He will be so happy to hear that.  The last time I saw him, many years ago, we said we would pray that that would happen.  God is Awesome.  We had fun having silly pictures taken with Debbie and Tom.  Lots of laughs.  Such a fun night.

2/13/17..Went to Breakfast in Midland, Went to movie, Went to Hailey's Game, Had small group

Bill, Charlie and Dan

Hailey and her team playing Basketball.  Gotta love those green shoes!

We went to a veteran's breakfast in Midland instead of our regular breakfast.  It was at Colonial Villa Senior Living Center.  They were so nice to us and it was amazing how they served us.  Got our coffee or whatever else we wanted, took our plates, etc. when we were done.  They were so kind.  The food was delicious and everything was free too.  This man named Dan asked if he could sit with us.  He knew Grandpa Adam's niece and nephew and worked with them.  I was blessed to be able to share the great miracles God has done in our lives.  He shared a miracle his wife had too.  We got stuff ready for care group when we got home and then went to a movie with Charlie and Sue.  Charlie thought it started at 2:05, but it didn't start until 2:45.  We sat and ate popcorn and drank pop until we could get into the theatre.  I had heard it was a good movie and it was rated PG13.  It should have been rated R.  Lots of violence and bad language.  I should have looked it up on plugged in to get the review.  After we left there, we went to Hailey's basketball game.  They were behind by 6 points.  Well, by the end, they had tied it.  With just a little over a minute on the clock left, Jada threw a free throw and made it.  They would have won it then, but her toe went over the line so they didn't get the point.  It was tied 20 to 20 when we had to leave to get home for small group.  They ended up loosing by 2 points.  They sure played good and it sure was an exciting game.  It was so nice to see Ginny's mom and dad there.  He had serious surgery in September and is still recovering but he looked really good today.  We had 10 for small group.  It was a great study.  Dennis did a good job leading it.

2/12/18...Met Best Friend Vikki for Lunch, Vikki and the kids came over...Yay, they are healthy now...so happy to see them

Peyton and Issac
I called my friend Vikki to see if she was still going to be able to come to Saginaw from Grand Haven to meet for lunch.  Didn't know if she would drive with all the snow, but she said she was still coming.  I did some cleaning for care group. Then I packed up dish cloths I knitted to give to Vikki for her ministry to sex traffic victims.  Bill had to go to a 1 p.m. appointment at the VA.  Vikki called me when she was getting close, so we met at Famous Dave's and got there at exactly the same time.  I was so happy to see her as we haven't seen each other since before Christmas.  She had a lot going on helping her parents to are having health issues and then the weather didn't cooperate at other times.  What a fun time we had catching up and was a great meal.  I am so thankful God gave me her for a best friend.  She is such an encourager and lives out the love of Jesus in her actions.  After we spent a lot of time at the restaurant, we went to her brother's house where she stays when she is here and we visited some more.  After I left there, I came home and was happy to see Vikki, Peyton and Isaac.  It has been a long time since I've seen them too because of them being sick.  What a happy day!  We played a game called Left, Right, Middle that was lots of fun. The kids sure were good at it.  Vikki found out what part we need to fix our recliner.  There is a spring that is bent underneath.  Thanks Vikki!  I forgot to take a picture so I borrowed this cute picture Vikki put on Facebook.  Happy to get my hugs I have been missing.  Bill and I watched a movie.  I did my lesson for small group.

2/11/18...More snow, drove slowly to church, Went to Sullivan's after church, Bill snowblower the driveway, did by the shed and did paths, Watched Cars 3 with Bill

We got up and it was snowing.  None of the roads were plowed until we got to Shattuck.  We took it slow and steady.  There were still 3/4's of the people there even though the roads were bad.  Very good message today!  After church we went to Sullivan's for lunch with Debbie and Jeff Davis.  Had a nice visit.  Some other friends from church were in the back room, so we went and visited with them for a while too.  We saw Jim and Patty Newman there too which was nice.  We came home and Bill did the snowplowing.  I surprised him and shoveled paths on the deck.  When we were done, we watched the movie, "Cars".  I was happy to see it was good like the first one.  I didn't care for the second one.  We wanted to check it out so we know it's ok to play when the grandkids are here.
Watched a couple of Hallmark Valentine movies.

Ginny and the new worship leader joined Hailey's girls team against the boys and the lady teachers

Two very handsome guys watching the game

My sweet friend Lila.  She is 96 years old

I am so sad. Victoria, in these pictures had a severe brain injury yesterday and died today.  She was only 15.  I sure am praying for her family.  Heartbreaking!  Thankful they believe in Jesus and have our blessed hope of eternal life and seeing her again.  Bottom picture is how I remember her when we spent lots of time with her family.  She was a very sweet girl.

We got ready to go to Jack's game and shortly before leaving, I noticed water in the kitchen window.  The curtain was wet and water kept dripping.  I put towels in the window to soak up the water, while we did a search to see where it was coming from.  We looked upstairs, but no leaks found Praise God.
Finally tracked it down to ice on the side of the house melting and coming in the window.  It stopped.  Will be getting it fixed ASAP.  We went to Jack's game.  His Papa Dan came from Muskegon to see him play.  He wasn't doing much while on the basketball court, so I prayed he make a good move because his papa was here to see him.  Right then, he stole the ball and took it all the way down the court for his team.  He did great.  He made some more good plays after that.  We went to the Kernel Burner and picked up some wood pellets.  Went home and unloaded them in ten minutes and then went to the hospital to pray for a friend of ours, Pat, who was in the hospital.  They thought it could be a mini stroke, but ruled that out and think it could be transient global amnesia.  Usually a one time thing.  They are doing more tests and keeping her over night.  We went to Culver's after that and Bill had a chicken tender basket and I had a chicken cashew salad.  We both had concrete mixers.   YUM
I got on my Facebook and saw some friends of ours requesting prayer for their daughter who had a severe brain injury, on life support and they said there wasn't much hope.  An short time later, they posted she died.  So very sad and can't imagine what they are going through.  Please pray for them. We went to Hailey's game.  Her class played against the teachers of her school.  The teachers one.  They kept mixing up teams after that.  It was fun to watch and was a good fundraiser for Hailey's eight grade trip to Washington DC.  We went to Kroger's on our way home to get coffee, creamer, body soap, fruit and a few other items.  Came home and watched the Olympics and then a movie.

2/9/18...Bill went to the SportsZone at 5:30, I did my walking at home,

Bill went at 5:30 am to the SportsZone to walk and play cards.  I always go later so decided to stay home today and walk in the basement because I didn't want to drive on snowy roads.  Did my walking to Praise and Worship music and got my three miles in.  Found blueprints to our house in the attic.  Kind of fun to look at them.  Ate left over pizza for lunch!  Talked to Melissa and she said the roads are getting bad.  She had to pick Max up because he had diarrhea at school.  She got him home and fed him and he did fine after that.  Thinks maybe his blood sugar dropped.  Poor boy!
Valley Lutheran, White Pine, and Heritage High Schools are having Anthony Ianni, a Michigan State Basketball player, speak.  He calls this program Relentless!  He was diagnosed with autism when he was 4.  Doctors and physologists said he would barely graduate, would not go to college and would be in a group home.  He proved them wrong;  graduated from high school, went to Grand Valley,  became an amazing basketball player at MSU and graduated from Michigan State   He was bullied a lot when he was young and he goes to school and speaks to kids to make them aware of Autism and bullying.  He has strong faith and this program gives kids hope and also makes bullies aware of what they are doing to kids.  Bill had to snow blow the driveway again today.  Got about 4 inches of snow.  He asked Joan if she could find someone to cover my class for me on Valentine's day so he could take me to a dinner and dance at the Horizons.  Joan let him know that she found someone so he showed me her text.  It was really sweet.  I am looking so forward to our date night!

2/8/18..Kimmy's sheep had more lambs, .Had a quiet morning at home, Went to Community Village, Faith Rider's Chapter meeting in the evening

Kimmy and Jared's sheep (EVA) had lambs!  A boy and a girl!  They are so cute and are healthy!

This squirrel has been coming to Vikki's window for a year new.

It's amazing how they get this close and stay still.  So cute.

I was so happy to talk to Kimmy and find out Eva had her lambs and they were healthy.  Not so happy hearing another sheep had her lamb and it died.  The new lambs are nice and big and healthy.
Vikki called me and then facetimed me to show me Lenny and the squirrel.  This is so amazing to me.  Loved seeing it and have shown the picture to several friends.  I just took it easy this morning and stayed in my pj's until noon.  Did my Bible reading and praying by the fireplace.  Sorted through some more attic stuff.  Trying to do at least a little each day.  Lots of pictures to go through so it takes time.  Bill worked volunteering for the VA hospital driving patients.  I ran off copies of the newsletter for tonight's meeting.  We went to Pizza Hut for our meeting.  Had dinner at 6 and then the meeting started at 7.  Marsha and Jim from Trinity Riders came to visit and sat at our table.  We had 29 people there tonight and had a great meeting.  Bill does an amazing job as president, leading the meeting.  We have such a great group of friends who care for each other.  We are very blessed.
