Thurs. 1/7/21, Did schoolwork with Peyton and Isaac,

 I didn't take any pictures today...boo hoo!  I had two sweeties here too!  The kiddos woke up first.  I heard them talking quietly, so I got up and got breakfast around.  I gave Bill his coffee.  A few minutes later, I heard Bill yell.  I thought he did something to his shoulder, but he spilled his whole cup of coffee.  Glad it wasn't his shoulder, but what a mess.  It went on the floor, under the coffee table, down the side of the love seat.  I got the shampooer ready and moved the end table.  Isaac plugged the shampooer in for me when I asked him.  I finished cleaning it up and then looked and there was Isaac winding the cord up for me.  I didn't even ask him and he had unplugged it for me and was there to help.  What a sweetie.  I ate and then we started spelling.  The kids did great.  We read our Picture Bible and then the chapter book.  Vikki came after that and we ate lunch.  She set up our Roku for us.  Also free 6 mos. of Discovery plus and I Tunes music.  We split the pastie from the Maple Grill.  It was good and so was the gravy.  Bill just thought it was ok, but not his favorite.  We watched a movie called, Fat Chance in the evening.  It was a good movie with a wonderful message!

Wed.,1/6/21, Got some things at Sam's Club, Kenzie and Travis got a very cute puppy!

After spending time with the Lord and praying for all going on in our nation today, Bill went with Charlie for a ride and I went to Sam's to get some things I needed.  Kenzie and Travis got the cutest puppy.  They named her Mylee.  She is part poodle and part blood hound, and is as cute as can be and is the nicest puppy.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac went there to meet her and spend time with them.  They sure loved her and had fun there.  Peyton loved Katniss she said.  

So sad to see what happened at the Capital.  Praying for justice for those who acted criminally and would do such awful things at a peaceful protest.  Our policemen and security at the Capital need to be respected and obeyed. We watched NewsMax to get the details.  Picked up pasties from Maple Grill to make tomorrow night. Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac.  We played 3-13.  I ended up winning, but Peyton was only 25 points more.  Isaac was 101.  Peyton drew asked me what I wanted her to draw and then she drew it.  She is quite the artist. I read the Bible to them, we prayed and then I tucked them in.  Bill left his recliner and slept in bed for the first time since his surgery!  He slept much better.  So did I.  Yay!  Another step in the healing!

   

Tues. 1/5/21, Did spelling and reading with Peyton and Isaac, Played 3-13, Went to Kenzie's,

 After we left Kenzie's we stopped at Hungry Howie's and ordered two pizza's. This is mine!

I took the garbage and recycling out.  That will be my job now until Bill's shoulder is fully healed.  Also hauling the wood pellets for the kernel burner.  I have a good system, where I just roll them to the door and don't have to carry them.  I scoop out one pail and then can carry the other one.   I have snowblower the driveways a couple of times too now.  I sure appreciate all Bill did now even more. Isaac got up first, then Peyton about 15 minutes later.  We ate breakfast than started spelling.  They both only missed 2 words.  We read the Picture Bible and finished the story of Samson and started Ruth.  They love reading the Bible.  They read their other chapter book and then I read Little House to them.  They wanted to play 3-13 after that.  That's our math class ha ha!  Vikki came to pick them up and had to leave right away to check on their birds.  Bill had a VA appt., so he left and I went with Vikki so I could see the birds.  They are really nice birds and pretty tame already.  Vikki made me a delicious cup of Hot Chocolate with whipped cream on it.  YUM!  Bill came to pick me up after his appt., so Vikki put the rest of my Cocoa in a cup I could take it with me.  We came home and I got a flashlight, the water cooler with a cold and hot spout, packed us a quick lunch and we headed to Kenzie's.  I helped Kenzie and Bill helped Travis.  The cold spout on the water cooler didn't work.  Kenzie and I finally got it dripping and then it started a small stream.  We cleaned out stuff from a couple of rooms upstairs.  The guys checked plugs and were in the basement, sheds and outside checking things out.  Katniss is such a good kitty.  She is going to be a mouser too which in the country is needed.  Bill and I did some artwork on the wall.  Travis and Kenzie had done quite a bit on the walls until they paint them.  We came home and on our way, Bill asked if I wanted to order pizza's from the Hungry Howie's we ordered from before when we were there.  I said yes and got the same kind...Pepperoni with Banana Peppers.  So yummy!  Bill got his no cheese and just beef pizza.  It's tradition now I guess.  I got to thinking and think the cold water spout will work once it's in the house for a while.  I got it out of our camper and it was probably frozen inside.  The heater worked for the hot water spout, but we turned the cold button on so nothing thawed in the cold spout.  I told Kenzie to turn the cold button off.  We got home and Bill couldn't find his phone.  We searched in the truck, outside, out by the shed, in the shed, and in the house.  Then we got Kenzie looking.  We had our Zoom Prayer meeting from church so joined that.  Afterward, we started looking again.  I called it but we didn't hear it ring anywhere.  I had just talked to Kenzie and they were going to go look in the shed.  Bill checked in the truck one more time and found it in his door.   Yay!  I called Kenzie back and got her before she went out looking for it.  We watched a good movie called Miracle of the Tree.

Monday, 1/4/21, Took the rest of the Christmas decorations down, Put the last of the Christmas stuff away, Peyton and Isaac spent the night

I fasted and prayed for our nation today.  Spent more time in God's Word.  Goal in 2021 is to have a closer relationship with Jesus.  Adam texted me before he went to school.  Kimmy called me in the morning.  I messaged with Kenzie for a while too.  Bill and I ate oatmeal and had our coffee.  He went with Charlie for a drive, and I took the few Christmas decorations that were left down.  I cleaned out the upstairs bedroom and put the wrapping paper, ribbons etc. back in the attic and took the card table down.  We warmed up the roast for dinner, then watched a really good movie called Courageous Love.  Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac over.  They were super excited about their new parakeets they got today.  Peyton named hers Bo and Isaac named his Buddy.  Vikki is such a fun mom and wants her kiddos to experience having birds, even though they are messy.  It will be a fun adventure for all of them.  We watched a movie with them called Christmas Colt.  Tucked them in and prayed. I told Isaac to sleep like a log and he said no, I want to pop up like toast in the morning.  I told Peyton to pop up like toast in the morning and she said no, I want to sleep like a log.  Those kiddos!!!

We watched online church this morning.  Such great worship and a great message.  We took communion which always means a lot as we remember what Jesus did for us!  Remembering and waiting for Him to come back again!   I made a big breakfast and we ate.  I stopped at Melissa's to drop something off, then I picked Vikki up and we went to Debbie's to give her her Christmas gift from Bill and I.  I got her slippers like Kimmy and Jared got me a few years back which I love!  She loved them too.  She put them right on and texted me later saying she kept them on all day.  She gave some slippers she got for Christmas that weren't comfortable on her to Vikki.  Vikki loved them.  They are Dearfoams too!  It was so nice seeing and visiting with Matthew too.  He looks great, but has a sore foot because he pulled some tendons.  No one let us know about that.  We came home to pick Bill up, packed up some plates, napkins, and plastic silverware for Kenzie and Travis, then headed to their new house.  We picked up pizza for them on our way at Hungry Howie's.  They have worked so hard already and really cleaned the house out.  It looks so much better.  I sure am praying for them!  Lots to do and weird previous owner.  Praying for God's hand upon them.  I was happy to hear Kimmy, Jared and the boys were home safe.  I talked to Kimmy for a while.  Sure was happy to hear from her.  Bill and I watched a movie.  We each had a pear from the boys fruit we bought.  YUM! 

Sat., 1/2/2021 Bills first game of 3-13 since his surgery...he won!!! Did I let him???????

Slept in!  Put the little Christmas tree away.  It was a quiet relaxing day!  Bill is still doing great and cut back on his meds.  We played 3-13 and Bill was the big winner.  It could have been a whole lot worse if I wouldn't have done good at the end of the game.  Talked to Melissa before I went to bed.  

Friday, 1/1/2021, Had a Quiet day at home with Bill, Made a roast, Went to Kroger, Watched Heaven Sent

 So thankful to have Bill healing so fast and well

We both slept in this morning.  I didn't fall asleep til after 4 so was making up for it this morning.  We had our oatmeal and read our Bibles.  I put a roast in for dinner tonight.  I prayed with Intercessors of America at 12:15.  I talked to Melissa and Vikki.  Texted with Peyton.  What a sweetie.  We ate our yummy roast dinner.  We went to Kroger to get some Maxwell Coffee they had on sale.  Also got ice cream for Bill, Coffee ice cream to make Frappe's, and Cookies and Cream for any grandkids that visit. The store was pretty quiet so that was good.  The roads were getting icy and I have to drive right now, so I was glad to get home.  We watched a movie called,Heaven Sent.  Ate an orange from the Fundraiser the boys had. So juicy and good.  Talked to Melissa again and had a praise report about how good Jack is doing with the extra work he has to do.  Very proud him!
