Bill took Charlie down to U of M for a doctor appt. and procedure.  Sue called me and talked to me.  She told me she's having trouble with her knees and has lots of trouble going down stairs.  I went over to her house and got some things she needed in the basement and brought them up for her.  Then I prayed for her knees.  I gave her an amazing worship CD so she has it to listen to also.  I came home and got there just ahead of Kimmy and the boys.  Vikki and the kids came a few minutes later, then Kenzie and Travis came.  We hung out for a while, then Melissa called. When I told her I was going to Sam's she asked if I could pick up candles for Jack's cake.  Peyton and I went to get donuts at Tim Hortons, then went to the Party store and face timed Melissa while we walked through the store looking at what they had for a 13 year old.  Melissa picked out what she wanted over the phone and we got it.  We went to Sam's club and got muffins after that.  We came back home, and all went to Melissa's.  Kimmy cut Jack's hair and Vikki, Kenzie, and Kimmy cut Travis's hair.  We all had a great time hanging out for Jack's Birthday, singing to him and eating donuts and muffins.  We spent a lot of time there.  Bill messaged me that he and Charlie were eating in Owosso.  Bruce got home.  We said hi and talked for a few minutes, then packed up and went to the library.  Kimmy and Eli picked out some DVD's for their trip.  Jacob and Adam were at Aunt Bippi's.  Kenzie met us at the library to pick up the kitten. She is watching it while they are on their camping trip.  She and Travis left.  Kimmy, Isaac and I took Eli to Jack's Birthday party at Kokomos.  We dropped him off with Melissa and Bruce, and then headed to Vikki's.  We walked around and looked at her garden.  Kenzie got her a Knockout Rose today to surprise her and she planted it in the front.  It's very pretty and adds color.  The kids all had fun jumping on the trampoline. Kimmy worked on giving another coat to the damaged wall at Vikki's.  It is looking great.   I picked up pizza and breadsticks and we all ate pizza.  Melissa called, so Kimmy, the boys and I went to pick up Eli.  It rained just for a short time at the party, but the kids went in the water boats during the rain and had so much fun.  They had fun on the go carts too!  Kimmy and the boys left for home.  We had go rain here too, so I walked around and looked at all my plants and the garden.  Adam and I texted lots of good nights and good mornings to cover the time we won't be able to text.  It was such a great day.  I am so thankful to God for my family.  Each one is such a special blessing and so loved.

They sure did a great job picking.  I have never seen bushes so fun and sticking out in the paths.  You sure can tell we have had lots of rain this year.  They were delicious.  Good thing they didn't weigh us before and after.  They told us to enjoy eating some though.

Beautiful berries and nice and big

Looking at the creek their mom and Aunt Kimmy used to play in when they were young.
We passed this and turned around to take a picture.  It looks so fun and relaxing

I went to Kimmy’s at around 10:30 to visit and to learn how to take care of the animals while they are gone on their camping trip. I picked up Angel food cake and no bake cookies and took them there and Kimmy got home a few minutes after I got there and she brought muffins.  That’s what I tried to get but the store didn’t have any.  We sure had lots of yummy snacks.  Jacob got a haircut and looks so handsome.  The other boys got their haircuts later. I saw pictures and they look very handsome also.  We walked around and looked at her plants and walked through her woods.  She showed me what to do for the animals.  We came in the house and Eli noticed the butterfly was out of the chrysalis.  They thought the other one would come out tomorrow, but ten minutes later, Eli noticed it was starting to come out.  I was so happy I was there to watch it with them.  What a miracle to see how God has created them to do this.   I ate a muffin and then left for home.  I went and had a long visit with my dear friend, Phyllis, who is battling against cancer now.  She has the victory in Jesus Name!  It was so good to visit with her. She looked good and has such strong faith. We spent time praying and now are expecting her miracle.  I took her a worship CD Rody made for her.  Andy was there too and it was nice to talk to him too.  I got home and swam with Vikki and the kids.  Then we went and had fun picking blueberries.  Peyton and isaac were great pickers this year.  They gave me their berries.  We always have so much fun.

Tues., July 13, 2021, Did laundry, pulled weeds out by the blueberry bushes, squash, cucumbers and pumpkins. Pulled some rhubarb that was too big out, Went for a swim, went to Melissa's, went to prayer at church

Isaac with his new bike
Bill trying to beat me at 3-13.  I won -49 to 41.  I finally had a good game.
Max sure is growing up fast and has lots of muscle.
Evan and Jack are sure growing fast now too.
Peyton with her new bike...all of these grandkids are growing up way too fast
So many blossoms on my limelight hydrangea this year!

Got up thinking it was early, but it was 8:30.  I stayed up until 1:30 last night.  I did the laundry from camping.  I also turned the pool filter on and put chemicals in it.  It's amazing how clean it stayed the 3 weeks we were gone.  The pool cartridge lasts a little over 3 weeks.  I was thankful to have family swim while we were gone and run the filter for us.
I started the air conditioner right away as it was so warm.  Using electricity before two and after 7 to save $.  I went out to pull weeds from the back garden.  It rained in the morning and then we had another downpour, so they came out easily.  I'm very thankful for my muck boots which I rinsed off right afterwards.  I caught my 18th chipmunk in the evening.  I went to Melissa's and took the duffel bag for one of the boys to use for camp.  It was nice seeing the boys and talking to them and really nice visiting with Melissa after being gone 3 weeks.
I sure did miss her and will be going to visit her lots while the boys are at camp.  We have lots of catching up to do.  I picked up Souper Cafe food.  I didn't have time to eat before prayer, so put mine in the refrigerator.  Prayer was awesome.  We split into groups and walked around the church some inside and some out, and prayed for each room and those who will be in those rooms.  We prayed for the sick when we met back together.  I came home and Bill had unloaded the dishwasher for me.  He wanted to play 3-13 so we did.  I had a great game....him not so much.  He usually beats me so I did rather enjoy it.  I ate my dinner while we played.  He picked up the game and I took the chipmunk and dropped it off after our game.  Isaac and Peyton got new bikes and were pretty happy.  Can't wait to bike ride with them.  Happy 83rd Birthday to Lela.  She is one amazing person who has been through so much and blessed so many with her testimony through it of her trust in the Lord.

We had our breakfast this morning, then started with the last minute packing and getting camper closed up.  All went well and it didn't take us long.  Bill had to dump the tanks, so I headed home in my car so I could be home when Kimmy and the boys got there.  Jacob and Adam got their last Covid shot today.  They did pretty well all day, but had sore arms.  Bill got home and we unloaded the refrigerator stuff from the camper and brought it in.  He pulled the cart with the tractor up to the house and helped carry it in.  Kimmy and the boys got here shortly after.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came a little while after them.  We girls sprayed and washed the camper mats off.  They insisted on doing most of the work though.  Kimmy and Vikki edged my new garden area for me, while I pulled and hoed weeds.  We preened it after that.  It is looking so nice.  Bill played 3-13 with Jacob and Adam.  The kids all swam except Jacob.  He said it was too cold.  They had fun and stayed in quite a while.  We ate egg, bacon and cheese sandwiches for lunch.  Whoever didn't want that, had turkey sandwiches.  We talked to Melissa lots.  Max, Jack and Evan are going to go to camp, and since Jacob was already there, he talked to her lots too and answered her questions regarding what to pack.  Kimmy had a dentist appointment, so the boys stayed here.  Jacob, Vikki and I played 3-13 (Jacob won).  Peyton, Eli and Isaac rollerbladed in the basement and hung out down there.  Kimmy got back and she and Vikki went to Vikki's to fix the damage Lenny did to the wall.  They showed me a picture and it sure is looking better.  A few more coats and some paint and it will be good as new.  I folded the camper matts and packed them back in the camper.  I also packed up more stuff in clothes baskets to haul in.  The kids played games and snacked on crackers and cheese.  The girls got back, and Kimmy had to leave right away.  Vikki drove me and the twins to the Point to see the sand sculptures I saw on Facebook.  They really did a nice job on them.  Vikki also showed me where a car skidded off the road and hit a bunch of pine trees and broke them off.  Later she showed me a picture of the car.  Yikes....awful.  Praying for whoever was in the vehicle.

Sunday, 7/11/21, our last full day camping

Peyton playing on the playground

Peyton with her friend MacKenzie

Got ready for church.  Took outside shower down. Put gloves on and tried to take the cover off for the honey wagon to empty. I couldn’t get it off, so Vikki put the gloves on and she got it.  Some pretty stinky liquid came out. Good thing she had gloves on and can move quickly.  We were glad when it stopped.  Our neighbor a couple of sites down was sitting outside.  All of this made us a couple minutes late for church.  The service was great and so was worship. Everyone was so nice too.  We came home and ate pizza and breadsticks after we got ice teas from McDonald’s.  Peyton wanted to go play with her friend. She was swimming, so we went to the pool to watch her swim.  They played golf after that.  Vikki and I lounged in our hammocks while they golfed and played at the playground, checking on them now and then.  Vikki and I went on a walk and went on a trail behind the clubhouse. We had to climb over some fallen trees.  We went and sat by the playground to see if Peyton would notice us. It didn’t take her long and she was waving and saying hi to us.  It was so cute how she played and was kind to all the kids.  Sure do love that sweetie.  Vikki packed up her stuff and I did some cleaning while I have water to clean with.  We packed up our hammocks.  Bill got here right before they left for home.  We put the extra wood in the truck.  Peyton was a big help.  I felt sad when they left. They are so fun to camp with.  Bill and I packed some stuff up, then decided to go for a walk.  We each carried a bag of trash to put in the dumpster.  Some nice guys on a golf cart stopped and told us we could put it on the back of their cart.  Then we just walked around to make sure we at least got 10,000 steps.  We talked and caught up on each other’s last couple of days adventures.  We sat around the campfire, then came in and played 2 games of 3-13. He won both, but only by a few points.  Kimmy called and her and the boys are coming over tomorrow! Yay!!!  Jacob and Adam are getting their second COVID shot.  Praying they feel good afterward.
