We went to prayer, then to our church service.  Prayer was good, the worship was awesome and the message was so good.  Not many in the church service today.  When we got home Bill ran Marie and Roy's tithe they asked him to deliver, back to church.  When he got home, he burned some boxes and paper out back.  Vikki, Rody, Peyton and Isaac came over after church and we had our left over Christmas meal.  It is a great tradition we have done for many years now.  Bruce, Melissa, Hailey, Jack and Evan got here after everyone else was finished eating, but I warmed mine up last so I was still finishing.  Vikki put all the food away and cleaned everything up for me, so I could finish and go outside with Melissa and family.  I appreciated her doing that so much.  She is always willing to help and does a great job.  Thank you Vikki.  I gave hugs and we all went outside to say hi.  Vikki and family left. I had Bill put wood on the fire he had started.  He and Bruce kept it going, so we stayed warm while watching all of the boys shoot their bow and arrows.  Jack and Evan sure love shooting.  Bill and Bruce gave them helpful hints.  They were doing so good at it.  Melissa, Hailey and I visited by the fire and took lots of pictures.   I took some videos of them hitting the target.  It was so much fun for them and for us.  They left after at least an hour and a half of shooting.  I love seeing them do outside things and enjoying them so much.
I got a text from Jacob and he got A's in his classes at Delta.  I am so proud of him.  He is so responsible with his studying and doing his homework.  What a great reward for all of his hard work.  Way to go Jacob!  I watched part of our Christmas video.  Sure made me laugh a lot.  I wrote about why I was laughing on my Christmas Eve post.  Bill and I watched a movie called The Christmas Miracle that was funny, but very meaningful.

We went to Melissa and Bruce's at 10:30.  We did a Covid test and then waited 15 minutes to get the results.  We waited out in our car.  Evan came out with what looked like a gas mask on his face.  Pretty scary for a moment there as we thought he was coming to tell us the results of our Covid test lol.  He had gotten that mask for Christmas to play with.  Melissa let us know we tested negative, so we could come in the house.  This is the first time we have been in their house and had a family get together since Covid started.  Melissa and I sat on the couch together and we had tears of joy and tears of being thankful to be sitting inside together again.  Words can't describe it!  We watched the kids open their gifts, then Bruce and Melissa and then Bill and I opened ours.   I got a beautiful angel ornament from Evan, a beautiful Angel with a tea light from the boys,  a double wick candle, Christmas soft warm socks and candy from Hailey, a beautiful soft top from Bruce and Melissa.  Bill got 3 hot sauces from Hailey, the solar/crank charger, flashlight, radio thing from the boys and Bruce and Melissa went in with all of us for the garage door opener we gave him yesterday.
Bill and I sat in the family room to eat.  Bruce made scrambled eggs, hash browns, fried potatoes, bacon, sausage, pancakes, birds nests (eggs, cheese, hash browns he made in a muffin tin) and cinnamon rolls.  He also had fresh fruit for us.  Everything was delicious!  Melissa served us and was so sweet.  Bruce poured our juice for us.  It was like being at a fine restaurant, but better because of all the love.  We visited for a while, Evan, Melissa and I played Uno, Hailey played her new guitar, and we just enjoyed hanging out together.  Jack had fun practicing shooting his target with his new nerf gun.  It felt so good being all together and having a normal Christmas with them.  Last year was so hard.  Thank you Melissa and Bruce!  We love you and we love your kiddo's.  After we left their house, we went to Vikki and Rody's.  It was Lenny's 6th birthday, so I gave him extra attention.  Karen and Rudy came over shortly after we got there.  I hadn't seen Rudy since he was really young when they came up to our campsite.  He is so tall and so grown up now.  He has the nicest smile and is so sweet.  Karen is super sweet too.  It was so nice spending time with them.  Isaac showed me his new electric double basketball hoop.  He's getting good at making those baskets.  I made a couple.  I won't say how many I missed.  Isaac showed me the cool lights he has hung up in his room that Kenzie got him for Christmas.  Wow his room looks great with them.  Peyton showed me her new doll, camera, art book and markers  and the other things she got for Christmas.  Rody took the nice picture of Bill and I which was so nice of him.  We were stuffed from breakfast, but Vikki did have us eat some yummy flavored pretzels, and gave me Cranberry Punch juice.  Rody made coffee for Bill.  Thanks Vikki and Rody!  We love you and we love your kiddos!  Next we went to Kimmy and Jared's.  We got to see what the boys got!  Jacob had some cool lights he's putting up in his room.  He also has a different bed and has so much more room.  His room is pretty cool.  Can't wait to see the lights up.  Adam had his lego set all set up to make a movie.  Very cool!  Eli was working on his lego set.  He had to take one thing all apart and put it back together.  He worked at it, and got it done before we left.  Kimmy showed me how her Alexis works.  They were all having fun with it.  I'm so glad she has one.  She also has the smart light on the table between her and Jared's chairs.  She had Alexis turn it on and told her what color she wanted.  Kimmy made us coffee and put just the right amount of creamer in mine.  All of us but Eli played 3-13.  We played with their new plastic cool cards.  These cards were just amazing to play with.  I won and stayed negative for most of the game.  Jacob was the big looser, but he did maintain well in the last half of the game.  We all had fun and had lots of laughs.  Thank you Kimmy, Jared and boys!  We love you all!   After we left there we went to Rody's mom's family Christmas.  Our friend, Roz, who we haven't see for a long time was there and we wanted to see her.  She is Rody's mom's best friend.  We had such a nice time seeing everyone.  Everyone was so nice.  We saw what Peyton and Isaac got, took lots of pictures, and had fun visiting.  We ate some peach cobbler there even though we weren't hungry.  What a great Christmas Day with family.  We are so thankful that Emmanuel is with us...Thank you Jesus!  Our lives changed because of You!
