Beautiful sunset...looks like some Northern Lights with it

Made a pie right after I got up this morning.  Wanted to have it for when Marie and Roy come to visit after her doctor appointment.  I used Jared's mom's pie crust recipe. Love how easy it is, and how good it tastes.  We had our oatmeal, then Bill had to leave to take Stacie's dad to an appointment.  After my Bible reading time, I did my lesson for small group.  Finally went to SportsZone and walked two miles.  I got lots of exercise this summer, but it's been a few weeks now with no exercise or fast walking.  Good to get back to it.  When I got home, I noticed Bill had eaten lunch, so I made me a sandwich.  Cheryl called and Bill and I had a good talk with her over the phone.  Kimmy called 3 times while we were on the phone with Cheryl, so I called her back.  Adam had a soccer game and wanted me to come.  I love that he had her call and ask me.  I never got his soccer schedule.  I sure love watching him play. Marie and Roy came to visit at 3:15.  We had such a nice visit.  We had pie and Marie loved it,  and said she wanted the recipe for the crust.  She thought it was the best.  I told her where I got the recipe and told her I would give it to her.  It was nice to hear she had a great doctor appt.  Everything looks good from her back surgery.  She just needs to give it time to heal and take the pain medicine they told her to.  After they left, Vikki and Peyton came to go to Adam's game with me.  We got there and Eli came right to our car to meet us and help carry a chair.  He wanted to carry two, but I told him I would carry one.  What a great kid! Adam played a great game.  It was so fun watching him.  Jacob didn't have too many more steps when I got there, but he kicked the soccer ball a round and ended up with 2,000 more steps then I had.  He always beats me.  Bill came around halftime and got to see Adam play too.  He sure was tired at the end of the game from running all over that huge field. We took pictures afterwards and got our hugs before we left.
