Easter Sunday, 4/4/21, Went to church, Kimmy and Family and Vikki and Family came to eat dinner at noon. Melissa and Family, Charlie and Sue, Stacie, DJ and Kody came at 2:30 for our Family Easter Egg Hunt and and a great day spending time outdoors together

Got up at 5:30 and got food cooking.  Got ready for church and put worship on while I did. We went to the 9 a.m. service at church.  Beautiful worship and message about Jesus.  Love celebrating His resurrection from the dead.  He is Alive!  We came home and I got things ready for dinner.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came early and helped.  Peyton was cute when I asked her to fold the napkins and put them under the forks...she said Yes please.  She did a great job.  Vikki brought yummy lemon bars.  One pan they came out easy from and the other stuck and we couldn't get them out.  Kimmy, Jared and the boys got here and brought rolls and an apple pie.  We sat on the deck and visited for a while.  It was 65 degrees, sunny with no wind today.  A beautiful Easter Sunday.  Rody was helping out at church in the tech room for both services.  He got to our house around 12:30 just as we were getting the food set out to eat.  Kenzie and Travis came then too.  We had ham, mashed potatoes, chicken baked in rice with chicken noodle soup and onion soup mix, baked beans, corn, applesauce and rolls.  Jared and Rody hid the kids Easter baskets for me and then the kids took turns finding theirs.  After that, Jared, Rody, and Travis hid the eggs for the outside Easter egg hunt.  Stacie, DJ and Kody came, then Melissa and her family.  The kids had fun getting the eggs and opening them to see if they had candy or money in them.  They were pretty excited about the quarters.  The kids had races in the neighbors long driveway, and also fun hanging out together talking.  We sat out by the fire pit although we had to sit far away from it since it was so nice out.  It got cool later and we moved closer.  After everyone left, Bill helped me put some things away and then we watched the second season, first episode of the Chosen.  It was really good.
