2/7/18...Met Melissa at Bethlehem and watched Evan and his class do the whole chapel. Had covers put on the eave troughs so leaves stay out, but water goes down. Taught my class

Evan doing one of his chapel parts

He did great in front of all these people

His class sang a really cute song too
Kleen Gutters did a nice job covering the gutters so no more leaves get in them

Melissa and I enjoyed our bagel at Tim Hortons after we walked

I got up and got ready to meet Melissa at the kid's school. Didn't realize it was so slippery out, so it took me a little longer, but still got there in plenty of time.  Evan did a great job.  His whole class did great!  They gave the message, read scriptures, introduced worship songs, led in prayer, did a skit to go along with the scripture they were teaching on, and sang a song.  I was amazed at how good they did and how they spoke right out.  Evan was the Pastor in the little skit and did good.
This touched my heart so much and makes me so thankful they are in this school.  Melissa and I walked two miles at Center Courts after that.  We had fun walking and talking and time flew by.  Before we knew it, we were done with our two miles.  Melissa treated me to Tim Horton's after that.   We both had bagels with cream cheese.  Melissa had a mocha.  I had my coffee that i made at home in the car, so I only got water.  Love my coffee just as well at Tim Horton's.  I am so blessed to have such sweet, caring, loving daughters.  Love spending time with them!  Kleen Gutters came and did our gutters so the water goes in and the leaves stay out.  I don't like Bill getting up on the roof with his knee replacements.  Jared is great about doing it for us, even though Bill doesn't want me to ask him. This year Jared even asked me if they needed cleaning so Bill couldn't get upset at me asking him.  What a wonderful and helpful son in law he is!  We are blessed!
The problem is, we have so many trees that come late, it is the end of November sometimes before they are done falling.  Peyton and Isaac stayed home because Peyton was sick, but Evan was in my class.  I had 10 kids tonight.  Such a good lesson tonight on Casting our Cares on the Lord because He cares for us.

2/6/18...Went to our breakfast, Went to Sam's club, had small group

Got this trunk mat from Aldi's.  It was only 4.99.  The girl said they were selling like hotcakes.

This beautiful woodpecker sure loved the suet today

We Celebrated Heather's Birthday at small group tonight

We went to breakfast at Sullivan's today.  Went to Menard's with Bill afterward.  We came home and got some things done for tonight.  Bill snow blowed the driveway and sidewalks.  I went to Sam's Club to get a Birthday Cake for Heather.  She was our only Feb. Birthday in Small group.  I got some paper towels, paper plates, paper platters and metal disposable pans for my cheesy potatoes.  The cake was beautiful and her actual birthday is on Valentine's Day so it was perfect.
We had a great small group.  There were 11 who came.  We celebrated Heather's Birthday!  The cake was delicious.  We had a new kid named Jay.  He is 20 and goes to Saginaw Valley.  What an on fire guy for the Lord.  We were so blessed to have him come.  He leads a Christian group at the college and does a Bible Study.  It's kind of cute!  Hannah is a SVSU Student too.  She has been coming to small group for two weeks, but couldn't be here tonight.  She is on fire for the Lord too.  She leads a Christian Group at the college called the Gap.  Jay said he doesn't know her.  It will be interesting to have them meet. They sure will be fun to have in our group.

2/5/18...Fun Day with Kimmy and the Boys and Melissa and her kiddos, Storm door was put on,

Adam, Eli, Jack, Hailey, Evan and Jacob at Melissa's

They all slept in in the morning because we were up so late.  We watched "When Calls the Heart" and then we were  going to eat breakfast.  Kimmy got here and said Jacob lost a filling and had a dentist appointment. Eli, Adam and he ate and then they had to leave.  He was happy to hear he was getting a shake when his appt. was over.  Adam, Eli and I played 3-13.  I was getting great hands and in the negative.  Kimmy and Jacob came back and we ate and then left for Aldi's, Melissa's and Rite Ade.
I got some Vanilla extract for Melissa at Aldi's.  Saw Vikki Eddy's parents there so I was very happy about that.  Her dad just turned 90 so I wished him happy birthday.  We dropped Adam and Jacob off at Melissa's and Kimmy, Eli and I went to Rite Ade so they could get their flu shots.  We went back to Melissa's after that and watched the Christmas movie of When Calls the Heart.  I left after that to go pick up my wedding ring that was being repaired.  I took them to Nuechterleins to be fixed.  That's where I got my class ring in high school.  I checked with another place and they acted like it would be hard to fix and would cost $420.  This place only charged 94 and they did it right there.  I was very happy to get them and have them look so nice.  We left Melissa's and came back to my house.  Jacob took Adam's place and we finished our 3-13 game from 8's on.  I was the winner, Jacob 2nd and Eli third.  I had fun teasing the boys about the good hands they were dealing me.  They are sure good sports and very cute.  We got our new storm door put on and it is really nice.  We sent the storm door we had with Kimmy for their house.

2/4/18....Went to church...Vikki and the kids didn't come because Peyton had a sore throat and fever of 103.5. Praying! Vikki took Peyton to the ER and she has influenza and an ear infection. Super Bowl Sunday....Melissa and her family came over and Kimmy and her family came over. Missing Vikki and her family

Vikki sent us a picture of Peyton in the ER with a popsicle.  Poor little sweetie was diagnosed with and inner ear infection and influenza.  We are all sure praying for her

Max and his mommy

Jacob, Jack and Eli

Eli, Max and Jacob

I got up early and made the cheesy potatoes and sloppy joes.  I put them in the refrigerator, so I would just have to put them in the crock pot when I got home.  We went to church.  Vikki had called and said Peyton had a fever and a sore throat so they wouldn't be coming to church or to our Super Bowl party.  It was pretty slippery out from the 6 inches of snow we got, but the church was packed.  Kelly led worship and did amazing.  The message was another great one too.  After church, we went to the bank to get report card money out for all the grandkid's A's on their cards.  Boy, we sure have a lot of smart grandchildren.  Sure am glad they are doing so great in school.  I am very proud of them all.  We also went to Kroger's so I could get some liters of lemonade and a few other things.  Hailey loves lemonade!  I put the sloppy joes in the crockpot and started it and 2 an hour and a half before it was time to eat, I put the potatoes in the oven.  I sure was happy when Kimmy, Jared and the kids got here.  They haven't been here since Christmas Eve.  Glad they are all healthy now.  The boys bought their stuff because they are spending the night!  YAY!  They don't have school tomorrow.  The boys were excited to tell the Google Mini to play Toby Mac on the TV and have it come on.  We all enjoyed watching him and listing to some of our favorite songs he sings.  They did some other Christian singers too.  We had so much fun.  Melissa and Bruce got her around 5:30.  Max and Jack had a swimming birthday party they went to at Delta for Jacob and Caleb.  We all prayed as a family and ate.  We watched the game and we were all for the Eagles, except Bruce didn't know who he was for.  The Eagles were behind but had a great win at the end.  I was very thankful, because many on their team have received Jesus as their Lord and they proclaim Him boldly.  We didn't think the commercials were very good this year.  Had a nice time visiting and enjoying our time together.  We sure missed Vikki, Rody and the kids though.  Everyone left and the boys camped out in the family room by the fireplace.  Nice and cozy!  They said their prayers (which I loved hearing) and I tucked them in.

Nana and Papa on the Nana and Papa Bench

Melissa and Bruce were taking Max to his appointment in the Thumb so Bill and I picked up Jack and Hailey and took Jack to his basketball game in Bay City.  It was fun watching Jack play.  He was a fast mover.  After the game, we stopped at at KfC/Taco Bell before going to the camper show at SVSU.  Bill, Hailey and I got Taco Bell stuff and Jack got KFC chicken tenders.  We met Vikki, Rody, Peyton and Isaac at the camper show. We had fun looking at all the campers.  They sure had some nice ones. Nice and expensive too.  My leg did good so I was very happy about that.  We stopped at Meijer's after we left there so I could pick up some stuff for Super Bowl Sunday.  It was very busy there so it took a while.  Bill and the kids waited in the car.  When I got in the car, I realized I didn't get the hash browns I needed to make cheesy potatoes for tomorrow.  Bill took me to Aldi's so I could get them.  I was happy because it was snowing out and the roads were getting slippery. We ate left over meatloaf when we got home and watched a movie.  Melissa, Bruce and Evan come over to get the kids and ate some meatloaf too.  We visited for a while and then they needed to get back home to Max who stayed home to do homework.  Bill lad I watched a movie on Netflix.

2/218...Spent the day getting the house ready, food ready, etc for tonight when we have our get together at our house

Lori, Jeff, Amy, Dennis Ward, Dennis Watkins, Debbie, Rich and Pat

Bill had me get in the picture so he could do a selfie.  He's so cute!

Amy, Pat, Dennis, and Rich

Bill, Debbie and Lori

Bill reading Bible Trivia Questions and  Dennis

We sure had a lot of laughs

I went to take a picture of the score and Bill grabbed me to stop me so I handed my camera to Amy.  He tried to stop her so when I finally got my phone back I took a picture of it even though he wiped it before I could take the picture.

I set the table with my great grandma Daisy's good china and silverware.  Got the house all ready and made rolls, cheesy potatoes, meatloaf, chicken, baked potatoes, green beans and homemade applesauce.  Debbie brought a delicious salad, Amy brought pies and Lori brought huge thick delicious and beautiful cookies from a new bakery in Mt. Pleasant.  We all ate and then played Bible Trivia.  Guys against Girls.  Bill read the questions.  He was keeping score, but we took that job away from him because he kept forgetting to give us girls our points.  Dennis took over.  The questions were pretty hard, but we sure had lots of great laughs.  I even had to get the kleenex out because we were laughing so hard we were crying.  The girls won, 20 to 14.  Jeff asked Bill ad I to tell about one miracle we have seen in our lives.  Everyone has heard of Melissa's huge miracle, so we shared about Hailey's miracle with being healed of spina bifida.  We shared about Bill's miracle with his carbuncle and also his friend Carl's miracle.  Then Jeff shared about his and Debbie's miracle.  The Lord sure was touching our hearts.  Everyone left at about 11.  What a fun night..

Eli and the baby sheep

My leg felt weird when I went to bed last night.  Bill brought me a banana, water and motrin before I got out of bed.  I wanted it to start working before I tried to get out of bed.  When I got up, I decided I should go to Med Express to get my leg checked out.  I was the second person to be seen and got in really fast.  I prayed on my way there and was happy not to have to sit in the waiting room with sick people.  Don't want that influence stuff.  The doctor checked my leg and said it was a hematoma and contusion, but nothing was broken.  I sure was thanking God.  Now I know I can walk on it and not do any damage.  Have to keep putting ice on it three times a day for 36 hours. I came home and got some things ready for our company tomorrow night.  Then I left and went to get my mammogram.  When I was in the waiting room a bunch of us ladies in our cute gowns were talking.  They called a Patty Durn and when she stood up, I told her she taught my daughter, Vikki,  in kindergarten.  She told me she recognized me when she got up and she came and gave me a big hug.  She was one of Vikki's favorite teachers! (mine too)  I picked up a club sandwich from Arby's and came home to eat it and get more stuff done.  Went to Kimmy's at 1:30.  Loved seeing the cute sheep and loved seeing the boys even more....Kimmy too.  Kimmy made me coffee and gave me a delicious chocolate chip cookie.  YUM!  Came home and ate and then went to Bill and Sabrina's for our officer's meeting.  She had just made delicious chocolate chip cookies too.  They were still warm.  The meeting went really good. Cheryl couldn't make it because she wasn't feeling good.
