Thursday, 4/18/19...Cleaned, Picked Hailey up from school, Went to see the movie Breakthrough

A robin has been working all day on this next.  It's a lot messier than the next last years robin made.
I love that it's right where I can watch the babies from my kitchen window.
A little blurry, but only picture I got.  Vikki, Hailey, Bill, Chuck and Sue at the movie theater
Vikki and Hailey....Vikki's picture she took.  So cute!

Cleaned a couple of rooms.  Cleaned the shelves in the laundry room too.  Hung my Easter Flag outside that Stacie and family got me for my birthday.  It looks really nice.  I will have to take a picture tomorrow.  I picked Hailey up from school early because track was cancelled because of the rain.  She ate with us and then we met Vikki, Chuck and Sue at the movie theater to see the movie Breakthrough.  It was a good movie.  So happy Vikki decided to come and see it with us.  She had a gift card and wanted to meet us there and give us the gift card to use.  Hailey and I talked her in to coming with us.  So happy she did.  She is always so much fun and brings good snacks too.  Thanks for the M & M's Vikki.  After the movie, we dropped Hailey off at her house and then came home and watched jeopardy.  Vikki called us and had a very close call.  She was at the stop light coming out of Meijer's onto Tittabawassee and she had a green turn arrow.  She was going and someone in a big white truck ran the stop light.  She heard people beeping and slammed on her brakes just before he swooshed past the front of her car.  If she hadn't slammed on her breaks, the truck would have plowed right into the driver's side door.  I could tell she was very shook up.  I got shook up just hearing about it.  I sure am thanking and praising God for His protection.

Wed.,4/17/19....Walked at SportsZone, Took Melissa to therapy, Got groceries for Easter, Hailey helped me fill Eggs

Max doing his homework

Jack was working on his homework too

Evan working on his homework

Bill and I walked 2 miles at the SportsZone.  Ate oatmeal when we got home.  I went to drop of some stuff at Salvation Army, and then got gas. Took Melissa to therapy.   I went grocery shopping while she had therapy. Finished shopping and ran home real quick to put cold stuff and freezer stuff away.  Left all the other groceries on the table and floor, and went to pick Melissa up.  We ate pot pies for lunch and then went shopping for Easter stuff.  Melissa found what she wanted except couldn't find bags for the Easter baskets.  They had lots of them at the Dollar Store the other day and I had bought some.  Neither store had any left. I gave Melissa four.  I didn't realize each bag had 2 in it.  Worked out good.  I stayed at Melissa's and visited until I had to pick Hailey up at 5:15.  She came home with me and helped me fill Easter Eggs.  She sure was a great helper.  We had fun and it didn't take long at all.

Tuesday, 4/16/19....Yay, Kimmy's washer and dryer came. Looks beautiful! Went to PTSD Meeting with Sue, Bill married Sherry and Brian

Me, Lila and Sue....Lila turned 99 a couple of days ago.  Very sweet lady who used to come to our Tuesday morning breakfast

Bill marrying Sherry and Brian at Roethke Park

The guys at the house after the wedding

We went to our breakfast.  Sue came today and wanted to take me to Horizon's for lunch for my birthday.  We planned to go there after we went to a PTSD group meeting at the VA Center.  Sue has gone for a year and wanted me to go with her.  Read my Bible and then Sue came to my house and we went to the meeting.  I sat there listening and being very thankful for Bill.  I did share with the ladies how having Jesus in our lives has helped us so much.  Full blown PTSD sounds awful.  The lady in charge made delicious turkey sandwiches on amazing bread for us.  Sue and I decided to eat there and go to Horizon's a different day.  We stopped at Great Lakes and visited Lila and wished her happy birthday.  She is 99 years old.  She was very happy to see us.  We went to visit Pearlie after that.  Her grandson and his wife were visiting her again.  We visited a friend of Sue's sister in law too.  Came home after that.  Vikki and the kids came over to borrow the truck so she could return the furniture she got 10 days ago.  A board in the armrest broke.  Glad it happened now as they had a 10 day trial period and it was up today.  Bill and I went to Roethke Park and he married Brian and Sherry.  Sherry is the daughter of Mary who is a friend of ours.  Bill did a great job.  It stopped raining just when the wedding which was outside was ready to begin.  I had gloves and a coat on, plus a blanket, so I stayed warm, but Bill got really cold.  We were happy when they said they were taking the food home to Mary's instead of eating at the pavilion.  Bill was cold, so we stopped at Tim Horton's to get a coffee for him and a cappuccino for me.  He heard there was cream cheese in the cake so he got Timbits and I got a blueberry muffin.  We went to the house and ate some snacks.  Came home and watched Jeopardy which I had taped.  James Holzhauer sure is smart and winning lots of money.

Monday, 4/15/19...Notre Dame Cathedral started on fire....so sad.

So sad that Notre Dame caught on fire today.

Walked 2 miles at the SportsZone this morning.  There was still snow on the ground.  In the afternoon it warmed up nicely and the snow melted.  Vikki called me to let me know about the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.  Very sad to hear.  Started praying right away.  Some of us from Faith Riders went to Community Village to help the residents with Bingo. The residents are so sweet to us.  They love Bingo.

Sunday, 4/14/19...Woke up to ground covered with snow, Went to church, taught Sunday School, Went to Olive Garden with Beemers, Watched a Hallmark Movie

Pretty daffodils.  Peyton and Isaac picked them a little short, but still pretty
Jacob playing in the All Star Band in Shepherd.  So proud of him.   Left of conductor on end in first row

Snowy and windy front yard

Didn't want more snow in April.  Better than a tornado though.
Couldn't believe it when everything was white outside this morning.  I went early to church and set up my Sunday school class.  Worship was beautiful. After worship, the kids and teachers all went to Sunday School.  It was a good lesson on how God gives us hope and brings good out of bad.  I gave a testimony and then all the kids wanted to share something God did for them that brought good out of something bad.  They were very serious and it was a precious time.  Declan Galsterer broke his arm when he was getting off of their trampoline.  We all prayed for him.  His mom stayed in my class and helped because she wanted to keep a close eye on Declan.  He doesn't have a hard cast on yet.  Peyton's friend Katelynn's big sister, Mary, was a helper in my class.  It was her first time helping.  We have a little guy that has Autism and the last two times I have had him he has gone pretty wild.  My adult helper has had a hard time keeping him quiet and under control.  He colored all over the wall, tore posters down from the wall, etc.  I was kind of nervous about Mary having to deal with him and it being her first time and her being so young.  I prayed of course!  She did great with him and it was the first time he was quiet and could stay in the classroom the whole time.  She was amazing and so was he.  He did tear four posters off the wall right when we got in the room, but the rest of the time he was good.  Thanked God for His help!  Thanked Mary too and high fived the little guy.  We went to the Olive Garden with Vicki and Kevin Beemer and their 3 kids.  Had a nice visit with all of them.  Watched a Hallmark movie when we got home and had popcorn.

Peyton and Isaac

We all slept in because we stayed up so late last night.  Max and Papa ate pancakes and I ate oatmeal.
They went to Tim Horton's to meet Charlie and I read my Bible and then shampooed the stairs.  Cleaned out some birdhouses and filled the bird bath.  Max helped Papa hang the new led light in the shed.  He came in and watched a movie.  He told me he should probably go home at 2.  I love how he's comfortable and tells me.  He also told me he had lots of fun.  I took him home and went in for a few minutes to see everyone.  Bruce and the kids were watching the new Star Wars Trailer, and Melissa was making mac and cheese.  After I left there, I came home and washed the kitchen light fixture and hallway one too.  Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and Lucy came over in the evening.  Vikki, Bill and I played a game of 3-13.  Bill was the winner.  Peyton and Isaac loved playing with the dominos and made some really nice schools, etc.  It was fun watching them and listening to them.  We went out and looked at the new light.  It sure is nice and bright.  So much nicer than the old ones.  Vikki and I played another game of 3-13 and this time I was the winner.  After they left we watched a Hallmark Movie.

Max getting ready to watch a movie

Bill and I walked 2 miles at the SportsZone.  Took Melissa to therapy.  Went to Hobby Lobby and used my birthday gift card.  Picked Melissa up.  She's at therapy from 10am -2pm, so I know she's really hungry, besides being tired when she gets done.  We were going to go to Subway and pulled in, but when I looked for a Subway gift card, but didn't have one.  I did find a Harvey gift card that I've had at least 3 years.  Ann Fowler from His Restoration had given it to us to bless us.  t was $50 and I knew we had only went once.  Didn't have a phone number on it to call and find out the balance.  Bill and Bruce don't like Harvey's so Melissa and I decided to go there for lunch.  The girl checked out the card and it had $30 on it.  We both had potatoes soup and macaroni and cheese.  It was delicious, and we still have money left on the card to go there for lunch again.  I dropped Melissa off at home.  Bill and I went back to her house to pick Max up to spend the night with us.  We took him to Culver's and he loved his concrete mixer.  He told me he was going to save his money so he could get some of those ha ha.  He and Bill had a burger and fries too.  I just got a small Concrete Mixer because I was still full from lunch.  We came back to our house and watched movies and had popcorn.  He sure is a great kid to have around.
