Sun., 6/2/19...Taught Sunday School, Went on a motorcycle ride to Merrill Dairy Bar, Went back up north

Getting ready to take off for our ride.  It just finished raining and then the sun came out and it was beautiful

Daryl, Bill, me, Mark, Marti, Don and Wes.  Gayla and Joel were with us too.

Went home in the morning and got ready for church.  I taught Sunday School, so went early.  It was a celebration Sunday, with baptisms, new members and honoring graduates.  After church, Bill and I went home and changed so we could go on a motorcycle ride with Faith Riders to Merrill Dairy Bar for ice cream.  When we started out, I asked Bill if it was supposed to rain because the sky looked so grey.  He didn’t know, so I checked my phone and it showed no rain.  We headed out and got to the end of our road, and it started sprinkling.  We were heading toward clear skies, so continued to Tony’s where we ate lunch.  While we were inside it poured.  We got done eating and the rain stopped.  We wiped the bike down and headed to Meijer to meet everyone.  Wes, Gayla, Joel, Don, Mark, Marti and another guy came.  It was sunny and beautiful on our ride.  We ate ice cream and talked to some people about Faith Riders.  We came home and I headed back up to the camper.  Bill has an Elder’s meeting tomorrow night to get ready for.  I read more on my book and spent time with the Lord.  He is really touching my heart as I spend this quiet time with Him.  I finished the book Christian Athiest a few days ago and God sure used it to stir my heart.

Sat.,6/1/19..Went to Aiden's graduation, Bill did a memorial service..I went back up north

I love spring....everything is s beautiful

Peyton learning to play 3-13

Love this picture of Adam, Jacob and Ei

Peyton coloring bags to donate to a school for lunches Aunt Vikki helps organize

Peyton, Vikki and I all worked on decorating bags

Peyton had fun riding her bike while we walked

This was Peyton's baby size ice cream...it was so big, but she ate it all
We went to Aiden Shaw’s Graduation Breakfast Party.  The food was absolutely amazing.  Great fresh fruit, muffins,
egg casserole, potatoes, amazing ham, waffles, french toast.  We sat with friends and had a nice visit.
It was raining in the morning, but stopped  after we left the party.  Bill had to do a memorial service for a veteran that died at Roethke Park. It poured during the memorial.   I came home after church, got my stuff and headed back up to the camper.  Vikki and Peyton were up there.  We had a fun girl’s day.  We did lots of walking, played golf, and had ice cream.  We taught Peyton how to play 3-13.
Vikki and Peyton left around 7 p.m.  I read more on the book Jacob gave me to read, “Watchers, Guardians of Freelandia.  It’s hard to put the book down.  I got pretty tired so put the book down and went to bed.

Friday, 5/31/19..Came home for the day to get things done, spent the night here

Gayla, Wes, Don, Eva, Luis, Bill and I at the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Came home early in the morning so I could take a shower at home, and then get ready and take Melissa to therapy.  Bill took the boys to Valley Lutheran for their fun day field trip.  Melissa is walking so great with the cane now.  She did say she fell while walking in the grass at BayShore, but when she told her neurologist in Owosso, she said she was amazed that she could walk on the grass at all.  She has come so far!  That turned it into a positive Melissa said.
I sure was happy to see her and have a nice visit.  I picked up a Chicken Club Sandwich at Arby’s for her to have when I picked her up from therapy.  She’s always hungry after 4 hours of therapy.  Sure love that girl!  Bill was at her house with the boys already when we got there.  I waited for Vikki to come so I could give her the key to the camper.  She’s going up today.  Bill and I have a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to go to with Wes, Gayla, Don, Eva and Luis.  They are honoring us for volunteering at Rescue Mission and Community Village.  Good food and great company.  We enjoyed Christian Music by a man from New Life in Mt. Pleasant after we ate.

Thurs., 5/30/19 Camping at Outdoor Adventures

Bill and I reading our Bibles in the morning

Love how beautiful the flowers at home are

Jack as Abraham Lincoln

Jack and me

Made potatoes and meatloaf on the grill tonight.  It was delicious.
We ate breakfast, read our Bibles, I packed stuff I needed to take home, and then we went for a walk.  I had to leave, so Bill gave me a goodbye kiss and he kept walking to get his steps.  I got home and made oriole food and filled the feeders.  Then filled the finch feeders and other bird feeders.  Started laundry and then walked around outside and looked at my plants.  Beautiful!  The lilacs are about to open and so are my peonies.  I got the laundry done, got ready and went to Jack’s Wax Museum at school.  All the kids were in a big circle, and we walked around, pressed a button they made, and they would tell whoever pressed the button who they were and all about the person.  It was fun and very interesting. Jack did a great job and looked so handsome as Abraham Lincoln.  All the kids did a good job.  I was happy to see Bruce and Melissa walk in.  Melissa had a dr appointment in Owosso at 1 and it was great that they made it back in time to hear Jack and a couple other kids.  After that,  I headed back up to the camper.  Bill said Charlie and Sue came up to visit. Charlie called me and offered to take Melissa to therapy for me tomorrow.  I have been missing her so I want to take her and spend some time with her.  It’s really sweet how Charlie and Sue have been taking her while I’m up north.  They always treat her to lunch afterward.  They said she’s like a daughter to the because they don’t have kids.  Very sweet couple!  I read some on my book, made meatloaf and potatoes and Bill cooked them on the grill.  So delicious!  We watched Jeopardy. James won again.  Went for another walk around the whole campground.  Bill showed me the color changing led lights he put on the motorcycle. They look so nice.

Wed.,5/29/19...Camping at Outdoor Adventures

Relaxing in the Clam

Cottonwood flurries.....

I was walking when I saw Bill go by on the motorcycle.  Sure was happy to see him!
Bill had to go home this morning to be at a ceremony where the Marine Corp League is honoring a Vietnam veteran who is graduating.  They showed the veteran on the news last night.  Very touching story.
I made oatmeal, then organized stuff inside and outside the camper. Went for a walk around the campground.  Vikki was happy to hear Bailey the poodle is here. I was happy see him. I sat outside for quite awhile.  Read some of the book Jacob lent me.  Very good so far.  Hard to put down.  I know he’s trying to have me get less steps so he can beat me ha ha.  I moved into the clam and took a little nap.  Picked up a small pizza at Fergies.  Delicious as usual.  I went for another walk around the campground.  When I was almost back, I saw Bill pull in by our camper.  So happy to have him back here.  Read my book while he worked on a memorial he is doing.  I proofread it for him and then we played 3-13.  I was the winner but not by much.

Tues, 5/28/19 Camping at Outdoor Adventures

James and Bill at the Memorial Day Parade

Joel, Bill and Wes at the parade

Bill wanted me to stand in this puddle so he could take my picture in my Muck Boots

We slept in. We decided to go take showers.  When we got there, a lady was coming out of the bathroom and told us she had locked herself out of her camper.  She was in her robe and her husband had left and she couldn’t get in touch with him.  I told her she could come stay in our camper, but she said she had a friend next to her camper.   Bill’s shower was a cold one and mine was a near scalding one.  He was on one end and I was on the other.  Guess the middle would be just right.  We read our Bibles by the fireplace and were nice and cozy.  It was 53 degrees out.  We went for a walk.  Happy to have those Muck boots.  The honey wagon came and emptied our tanks.  Catching up on reading some good books friends have given me.  Yesterday Jacob gave me a book to read too, so I’m starting that one next.  We went for a ride to Dolney’s RV Center to look for a mirror Bill wants for the front of the camper.  They didn’t have it.  Took more walks.  Watched Jeopardy.  Played 3-13. I was the winner finally.

Isaac

Rody left right away in the morning.  I made eggs and sausage for breakfast.
We relaxed and I read my Bible and book.  Only in 60’s today.  We went for a walk.  Peyton played at the playground a lot and Isaac rode his bike lots.  I cut up potatoes and got them ready so we could cook them when Kimmy, Jared and the boys came.  They got here close to four (Jacob played in the marching band in the Sanford parade.  He did great!) Bill got here shortly after.  Vikki and I had the fire going so Jared and Bill cooked burgers, hotdogs and the potatoes. Everything tasted delicious!  We celebrated Jacob and Adam’s birthdays.  We had super delicious cupcakes that Kimmy made.
Jacob liked His I tunes card and Adam was excited about his LEGO set and wanted to put it together right away.

I couldn’t believe how much taller Adam is since I last saw him.  We all walked around the campground.  Vikki and the kids left right after our walk and Kimmy and family left shortly after that.  It was so nice having them all here.  What a fun day!  I love my family!!!
