Cute note Peyton left for me on my boogie board.  She's so sweet!
Maddy and Alec had maternity photos taken today and Rody is the one who took them.  He did an amazing job.  Such beautiful pictures of a beautiful couple.

Got up early and went to Kimmy’s to check on all the animals and plants.  Animals were all doing well.  Watered the blueberry plants, plants in pots and some of the other plants.  Filled grain and hay for 4H lambs.  Gave attention to kitties and fed them.  Checked and took care of water tanks.  Thankful for healthy sheep and lambs.

Got home and Bill wanted to see the sliding glass door Vikki and I frosted.  He liked it. He went to his breakfast and then got ready.  Wes and Gayla dropped off tickets for us to go to a veterans dinner in Mt. Pleasant.  They had to go to a wedding, so they blessed us with going to the dinner.

When Bill got home, we went to the Front Line Project in Frankenmuth.  It's always been called the Warrior Appreciation Day til this year.  We set the stuff out on the Marine Corp. table, then went and saw Debbie working at food place, making and serving hotdogs and Brats.  We got our picture taken together, then Bill and I ate.  We are worked the Marine Corp. League table for a couple of hours, then walked around.  We got free specialty Sundaes from the ice cream vendor ruck.  We also bought a beautiful Marine wall hanging. Saw Jim and Bev and sat with them for a while.  Vikki,Rody and the twins came and we got Peyton a free cute stuffed animal, and then they got food.  Maddy, Alec and James got there right before them, so we all went to eat together.  James sat at the table with George.  I got him a plate of food, then when he was done, got him an ice cream sundae.  Vikki, Rody, the kids and I walked through the bead store.  Then I went and found Bill so we could leave.

We left at 3:30 and came home, changed and went to the dinner at the Comfort Inn in Mt. Pleasant.  The food was delicious although Bill was too fussy for most of it.  We sat with John and Diane Mulvany.  It was nice seeing them.  Their daughter went to school with Vikki and Kimmy.  We stayed for the auction and then left at 9.  Happy to get home.  Put cushions outside away because it is supposed to storm tonight.

Friday, 7/22/22, Went to Walmart, Hung a curtain rod and curtains with Bill in the camper, Max came over, Vikki and Peyton came over

Max came and spent time with us

Jack got his guinea pig today.  All the kids loved her and were excited to pet her

Jack and Bella...she's Jack's pet guinea pig and you sure can tell he loves her
Curtain rods and curtains hung in the camper

Vikki and I went to get gas at Costco and she told me there was an eagle dead in the road we just came down.  She said she saw it's white head.  Ha Ha, we turned around so she could get a picture and it was a goose.  So much for her eagle eyes!!!

Vikki did a great job putting the privacy window covering on the sliding glass doors
I smoothed out some of it too
When we were all done, we took pictures by the door

I got up early to go to Walmart and see if they had blackout curtains with the rings in them.  They did!  I got 4 pair and also got two curtain rods for the camper.  Bill was working on the gate to the pool when I got home.  He is doing a great job on it and making it so it rolls to the side to open.  I went to pick up Max and got him his favorite double hamburger and a large fry from McDonalds.  We brought it back and he ate it here.  I had a cheeseburger and a frappe'.  We talked about his new You Tube video and I told him what a great job he did and that I loved it.  He told me more about Vader too.  He helped Bill with the gate to the pool and then came in and cooled down.  He was ready to go home, so Bill took him home in the truck because he loves riding in the truck.  I went to Jack's to get chicken which was on sale for 3.79 when you buy 10 lbs.  It's been over $5, so I haven't been buying it.  I went to Kohl's to return some screen protectors to Amazon.  They sent me something they said was compatible with what I ordered, but Rody said it wouldn't work, and I trust Rody to know.  I bought a top and a pair of shorts on sale there, plus they gave me a $5 off coupon when I returned the screen protectors.

When I got home, Bill helped me hand the curtain rods and the curtains.  We both liked the ring curtains the best, so I will take the other ones back.  I did need to go pick up two more panels because the one window is longer and need more.  They looks so nice.

Vikki and Peyton came over to swim and try out our new floating hammocks.  I had made goulash, so we ate before we swam.  We went to Costco and Vikki filled her car for $4.25.  That's when we saw the goose that she was sure was an eagle.
We had a good laugh.  We came back to my house and Vikki and I put the privacy window coverings on the sliding glass door to the back room in the camper.  It sure looks great and so do the curtains.  Thank you Vikki!

They spent half the day working on these and had so much fun

Peyton, Papa, and Isaac playing 3-13

Did my Bible reading outside.  At 11 I went to pick up Jack and Caleb to come spend the day.  We went to Tony's for lunch and all got hamburgers and fries.  The boys got Mountain Dew to drink.  Caleb and my burgers had way to much mustard on them, so we had to scrape some off.

We got to my house and the boys went out to find Kit Kat.  Caleb was really good with her and showed me some pointers of how to hold her on her back and make her feel comfortable.  He was so cute.  She was very good with him too.

They had some light saber competitions and then got warm and decided to go swimming.  They had contests to see who could stay under water the longest, did some diving and had fun swimming.  Jack wanted me to play some music, so I played some For King and Country on the speaker for them.

Then they got out and decided to find some sticks and made 3 bows.  It took them 6 hours to whittle the bark off, and to make them, then shoot them.  They had so much fun hanging out together and are such great friends.  I enjoyed hanging out with them too and listening to them. I am so thankful Jack has such a nice friend.  We have known Caleb since he was little and he's just so nice to have around.

Bill and I worked on getting the window trim down in the back room of the camper. I did most of one window and then Bill finished two more pieces of hardware that had to come off and he did the other window.  I washed the windows and they look great now.  Bill was here with Jack and Caleb, so I went to find blackout curtains for the windows.  Went to 3 stores and finally found some at Meijer.  The other stores only had one panel, not 4 like I needed.  Saw curtain rods at Home Depot, but want Bill to go with me to check them out tomorrow.

Max posted his first You Tube Video on getting Vader as a service dog for Autism.  He did such a great job on it.  I am so proud of him, and I am so happy he is doing these videos to help others.  He and Vader are such a good match.  Can't wait to see more videos.

Wed., 7/20/22, Went to check on Kimmy and Jared's animals, Jack came and spent the day, Weeded the plants in my new garden, pulled plants out in bricked area

Dug out lots of weeds and edged most of this garden today.
Marie had given me these plants, so I planted them inside the bricked area.  They looked awful and dried up so I dug them out today also
I took Jack to see Aunt Vikki and Uncle Rody's house today.  Took this picture of him by Lucy, Isaac and Peyton today
Jack and Lenny

I went early this morning and checked on Kimmy and Jared's animals.  They were all doing just fine.  Yay!  The autofill was working great in the 4H lamb's tank. Yay again.  I did some more watering as it is in the 90's each day.  Watered the blueberries really good too and the potted plants.

I got home and started weeding my new garden.  It had not been weeded since my 3 week camping trip, so it was pretty bad.  It was hard work, but great to have it done.  I edged most of it and l will finish that tomorrow.

I picked up Jack so we could have a fun day together.  We swam right away when we got to my house because they were predicting high winds for the afternoon.  We stayed in a long time and had fun swimming and talking.  It felt good to be cooled down after all that weeding.

We got out of the pool and Jack went to see papa in the shed and asked if it was a good day for him to have a ride on the motorcycle and go to lunch.  Papa said yes, but he had Jack help him dig some on the stumps he's trying to did out.  Jack did a good job working on them.  I checked the weather and it said the strong winds would be starting at 2.  Jack came in and asked if I wanted to follow them in the car and eat lunch with them.  I followed them and we had yummy Culver's and of course had Concrete Mixers.  Jack got a large and it was huge.  I had to take something back to Home Depot, so did that and they headed for home.  I was only in the store for a few minutes, then I headed home.  It sure looked dark towards our house.  I stopped and checked the weather and there was a severe thunderstorm warning.  I was concerned that Papa and Jack were getting caught in it.  I got home and they were both wet.  I was glad they were safe and didn't get caught in anything bad.  I got wet when I ran to get Jack and my swim suits and towels off the line.

We relaxed for a while, then I took Jack to see Aunt Vikki and Uncle Rody's house for the first time.  He loved it and was super excited when Aunt Vikki showed him the bed he would sleep in and the room it was in in the basement.  He thought it was pretty cool.  We hung out for a while til Melissa called and said Bruce could pick up Jack.  I told her I could bring him on my way.  It got pretty windy, so we headed to Jack's house.

I made Little Caesar's pizza's from the pizza kits I got from Kody.  I fried up extra burger for the freezer, so I can just make them anytime.  I made patties for the freezer for our BayShore Camping trip too.

I walked a few long cucumbers from our garden back to our neighbor, Brittany.  She was so happy to get them.  We talked for a while, then I headed home because it looked like it was going to rain again.  I talked to Melissa on the Phone.  Bill had his Marine Corp League meeting to go to.

Tues., 7/19/22, Went to Meijer, Went to lunch with Lisa, checked on Kimmy's animals, Vikki, the kids and I went back to Kimmy's, Vikki and the kids came to swim

Took Lisa, my friend from church, out to lunch to celebrate her birthday!

Vikki's sad job of wheeling the lamb to the dumpster

Kit Kat wants to be by us when we swim, so she lays on the railing
Isaac and Peyton having fun in the pool

They both saw me getting cushions and came running to carry them for me.  Then Peyton started skimming the pool for me.  Such sweet kiddos.
Kit Kat walking the rail.

I went to Meijer right away in the morning to get Lisa's birthday card and gift.  I was gone camping on her birthday.  I came home and read my Bible and spent time with Kit Kat on the deck.   My Yeti mug came and it is so nice.  I used my points to get it free.  I picked Lisa up and we went to lunch at Levi's.  We had a good time visiting and the food was delicious.  I brought half my sandwich home for later.  After I dropped Lisa off, I went to Kimmy's to check the water tank for the lambs and check on the animals.  I couldn't believe it when I saw something lying in the field and it was a lamb that was dead.  Two years in a row for dead sheep.  One good thing was I changed the washer in the automatic tank filler and it works just fine now. No leaks.  I was sad about the sheep and knew I couldn't take care of it by myself.  I called Vikki and she said she would come help me if I needed her too.  I stopped at John's on Stark Rd. to see if he could help.  He wasn't home, but his wife said she would call a friend who has sheep, and she would let John know when he got home.  I went home because it was 91 degrees and really hot in the hot sun.  I gave her my number and told her she could call me and I would come back to help her husband take care of the sheep.  When I got home, Kimmy called me and said it would be best for Vikki and I to take care of it.  It was a lamb so wouldn't be so heavy.  She said in the heat it would deteriorate quickly and get lots of maggots.  She said maybe Bruce would come after work and help.  I called Melissa and Bruce and her were just at the vet getting Abby's stitches out.  They offered to come to Kimmy's and help, but I told her Vikki and I were going and we would let them know if we couldn't get it.  We put double gloves on, took a tarp and rolled the sheep on it, lifted it and put it in the wheelbarrow, then Isaac tipped the wheelbarrow and Vikki and I held the bag and the sheep fell in it.  We did that twice so it was double bagged, then Vikki wheeled it to the dumpster and we both lifted the wheelbarrow up and dumped the sheep into the dumpster.  So thankful we could do that to help Kimmy and Jared who are always helping us so much.  We stopped to tell John's wife we got it taken care of.

We made BLT's for us and I warmed up Isaac's favorite chicken for him.  I cooked the bacon and made the toast and Vikki made the sandwiches.  They were really yummy with lettuce from the garden.  I had two brownies left, so we gave those to the kids.

Vikki, the kids and I went swimming afterwards.  The water was so warm, but it sure cooled us down when we got out.  We stayed in a long time.  Kit Kat sure likes to be by us and watch us.  They left after that, and I watered our plants.
