Went to the fair to watch the boys show their sheep.  I loved watching them.  They did a great job.  Adam's sheep acted up, but he didn't have much time to really work with him with being at Copper Harbor, being at BayShore, then staying with us so he didn't get Covid and could go to his soccer tryouts.  Eli got 6th place and Jacob got 3rd place. This judge was the quickest judge I've seen there.  He didn't even take time to talk to the kids and give them pointers.  Really weird.  Jack and Evan were happy to see them show their sheep. Jack tested negative for Covid today. Yay! Evan had just a very light line, so probably will test negative next time. It took a long time to see all the sheep today because there were almost double the sheep from last year.  I watched all of it except when the boys showed their sheep in the group of sheep born in Midland.  I had to leave to take Melissa and Hailey to BayShore to take a heater for the tent.  I didn't want Bruce to make a trip home, where he has been so busy, and has been also having to deal with Covid himself.  Kimmy and Jared are such a great aunt and uncle to have the boys this long and still want to keep them.  What a great family we have!  I picked Melissa and Hailey up, and we went to McDonalds and used our codes to get some deals for lunch.  We ate while we traveled to BayShore.  We had a nice time visiting with Bruce and Max, walking out to the point, and playing carpet ball.  Of course, Hailey found some friends to say hi to.  I am thankful she has helped there so much and got to know people.  We left around 4.  We stopped at Vikki's on our way back to visit for a few minutes and look at the rooms she changed around.   Rody was working on a graduation book for some friends of his, daughter he took.  He does beautiful photography.  He gave me Maddy and Alec's pictures he took so I could give them to Alec today when he stops over.  Rody did a great job on them too.  I took Melissa and Hailey home, and showed Melissa how to use her new shampooer like mine.  She started shampooing her carpets and I headed home.  She really likes the way the shampooer works and how light it is.  Kimmy, Vikki and I have one just like it and it does the best job on our carpets.

Bill and I had goulash when I got home.  We changed the old sheets on the bed because his side ripped.  We put a new set on that Charlie and Sue had given us because they don't have a king size bed any longer.

I sat outside and read my Bible more and gave Kit Kat attention.  Watered some flowers and plants.  Then Bill and I sat on our recliners and had some red licorice for a snack.

Me, Joel and Bill
Happy Birthday Joel!
We got hot fudge sundaes to celebrate Joel's birthday

Bill and Joel going around the flea market in Bay City.

Birthday cake we got Joel to share with his friends

We went to prayer, then into the church service.  Hailey sat with us and so did Vikki and the kids.  Rody worked in the tech room.  They showed pictures of the serve week and VBS.  It was nice seeing the pictures.  Nice seeing Vikki in them this year.  She was an amazing helper.  After that, we went to help out with the kids in kids church.  The time went by so fast.  I was so blessed to have one of the kids I was assigned to pray for for Sports Camp all week.  He doesn't have a church affiliation, so I was happy to see him there.  He was so sweet and sure loves Jesus!

After church, we went to pick up Joel.  We had left a message to see if we could take him to lunch.  No one responded, so when we got there we talked to the girls working.  Joel had just finished eating a BLT, but they told us we could take him out for cake and ice cream.  We took him in our Prius and went to Baskin's and Robins.  We were the only customers in there.  The workers were all so nice.  They got the door for us when they saw us coming and took pictures for us.  Bill and Joel got hot fudge sundaes and I got a banana royal!   YUM!
After we finished there, I called to see if it was ok if we walked Joel around the flea market they were having down by the river.  Joel enjoyed that too.  Bill and I took turns pushing him. He's always so thankful and polite.  We got him some kettle corn to take back with him.  We also stopped at Kroger and bought a cake for him to share when he got back home.
We had fun with him.  He sure is a joy to be around.  He's just like family and we sure do love him.  We took him back, and they were happy to see he had a cake to share with them.

Roy called me to tell me he and Marie stopped into a gas station on their way home from church and got gas for 3.25.  He was so happy and excited to tell me about it.  It was the same gas station, Vikki told me about where I got the great price (for these days) on gas.
It was so special of him to call and want to let me know.

I talked to Kimmy, Vikki and Melissa and texted with Adam.  We sure are missing Adam.

Baby Brielle is in a crib now and is eating at 58%.  When she starts eating consistently at 80-90%, she gets to go home.  I can't wait for them to have her home with them.  We sure are praying.

Got up early and got ready to go on the motorcycle.  It was in the 50's when we got up, but was 64 when we left this morning.  We went to Faith Rider's Chapter meeting.  It was a good meeting with much prayer for some members going through big things right now.  We prayed over a quilt someone made for Dawn who has been battling cancer for 2 years and just was admitted to the hospital last night with pneumonia.

The officer's shared, then Bill shared about the State Rally.  After the meeting, we went on a motorcycle ride to Colling Church of God.  There were 14 in the group from our two chapters. We joined the large group and went on an hour long ride to raise money for Shop with a Hero.  We stopped with Elaine and Cheryl, because Elaine needed gas in Pigeon.  The four of us just rode back to the church.  We snacked on donuts and cookies until the big group came back a half hour later.  The people of the church served us pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, baked beans, and chips.  They had lots of tables and chairs set up outside under the tent to eat at.  The pastor gave a good devotion, then started drawing names for prizes.  Everyone was given a free ticket.  They drew every name, but 9 of us who they had stand.  Everyone had won nice prizes but us.  Then the pastor said the last 4 standing would win $50.  Boy then we were not wanting to have our name drawn.  She drew Marsha's, then my name.  I was happy to get a $25 to a really cute Boutique in Sebewaing.  Bill had already won a bottle of real maple syrup.  We rode home with our Faith Rider group, then went to Meijer to pick up Wes and Gayla's van to park at our house.  They are going on a bus tour to Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone to celebrate their 60th anniversary.  We relaxed once we got home.  We were both tired.

Kimmy made me a delicious cup of coffee and served it in an amazing mug!

Pictures Maddy sent me of Brielle today!

We slept in this morning because Adam said he didn't have soccer practice.  I picked the garden, then went to Aldi to get stuff for goulash, and delivered some veggies from our garden to my friend Lisa from church.  I came home and made the goulash.  Adam woke up at about 11:30.  He ate a blueberry muffin, then he and Papa went and got Iain to go pick up a mouthpiece for football for him.  Maddy called to see if I could go to lunch with her, so I got ready and we went to the Saginaw Market Place.  She had corn on the cob with some special sauce on it and I had a pulled pork sandwich which was delicious.  We walked around and looked at things and then went outside to see what they had out there for sale.
She was supposed to be at the hospital at 3 to give baby Brielle who is still in the NICU, a bath.  She is getting better every day and even got to go in a crib today.  We waited on a park bench at the park across the street from the hospital until it was time for her to go in.  Her and her hubby are the only ones that can visit the baby.  Brian Pruitt was in the park singing, then talking to a group of people, who looked like hospital workers, and were sitting on chairs in the park.  He is an awesome man of God!

I headed over to Vikki's to see Kenzie, but she had just left and took Peyton to 5 Below to shop.  Melissa sent me a picture of Adam visiting them on his bike, then Adam showed up at Vikki's to visit us.  He tried to connect with Hailey too at Old Navy, but it didn't work out.  Kenzie came and I was happy to see her.  We took pictures and visited, then Kenzie and I came to my house and I gave her some goulash in a container to take home and a pack of 4 blueberry muffins I had picked up in the morning.  Goulash is her favorite, so that's why I made it.

I went to our Dick's to look for soccer socks that matched Adam's uniform and it took a while, but I looked at the far end and found a pair of Nike's that were hung in the worn place.  I face timed Kimmy and she said they were the right kind.  I was a little nervous about Adam when I came home and didn't see his bike in the garage.  I came in asking Bill if he heard from him, and Adam was sitting in the chair in the corner and said hi.  I sure was happy to see him.  He loved the socks.

Melissa, Bruce, Max and Vader stopped over for Bruce to pick up some wood.  Melissa and Vader came in the house for a while, then Max came in.  They were full, but I ate a bowl of goulash out on the deck, before I had to take Adam to practice.  Max was doing good with Vader.  After they left, Adam packed up his stuff, and we loaded my car.  Bill put the bike rack on and loaded Adam's bike.  We got to where they practice and no one was there,  We tried the other place they practice, but no one was there either.  Kimmy was talking to me on the phone and she and Jared looked it up and saw that Adam actually did have practice this morning, and there was no practice tonight.  Kimmy wanted Jared to meet me at Kohl's to get Adam and I tried to talk her in to just letting me bring Adam there.  I wanted to pick up some of the shirts like Vikki and I got for Kimmy and wanted to take them to her.  She said Jared already left and she couldn't catch him, so he met us there and got Adam and his stuff. I went in and found some shirts, then headed to Kimmy's.  I had such a nice time there, visiting and enjoying watching the boys play on the trees.  I got to see the lambs the boys are showing in the fair, all sheared and looking great.  Kimmy and Jared are always so fun to be around.  The cup of coffee tasted so good.

Thurs. 8/11/22, Went to Birch Run, We Took Adam to soccer tryouts, Went to Riverside, picked up Adam, went to Vikki's, Adam to soccer tryouts at 6.

Out the window at breakfast at Riverside today.  I didn't get the river in the picture, but everything was just beautiful

Kit Kat sleeping by me while I read my Bible

Adam after soccer tryouts.  He and lots of his friends made it on the team.  Now just the team will be practicing.  He was laughing at me and pointing because I parked across 3 lines and not in between the lines like I was supposed to.  However, I was the only car there.

Bill and I got up early so we could be down to Camping World by 9 when it opened.  I wanted to make it back in time to take Adam to Soccer tryouts by 11.  We got waited on right away and Bill ordered our new awning.  It took a while for all of the paperwork, so he told me I could walk around to look at stuff while he waited.  On the way home, Adam texted me that a friend of his told him soccer was at 10:30, not 11.  We were going to stop in Bridgeport for doughnuts and were just getting off the exit when he texted, so we just stayed on and headed to pick him up.  We picked him up, then we drove him to Midland.  He was only 1 minute late which was amazing.  Bill and I went to  Riverside for a yummy breakfast.  When we finished, it was time to go back and get Adam.  After we dropped Bill off, Adam and I went to Vikki's to hang out for a while and play Skip Bo.  Vikki, Isaac, Adam and I played.  I was the winner again.  Poor Adam.  We had fun at Vikki's.  We got home, and I made dinner because Adam likes to eat a couple of hours before soccer.  Bill and I had BLT's and Adam had an egg and bacon sandwich, then also had two fried eggs.  I dropped him off at 6.  Kimmy and Jared had a parent meeting before their practice.  Adam wasn't getting out until 9, so I went shopping at Kohl's for something for baby and some tops on sale for $5 for me.  Adam texted that he was out early.  I told him I was in town, so I would be there quick.  I didn't count on getting lost.  Siri helped me out real fast and I got back on track.  He laughed when I picked him up and didn't park right.  He was directing me into the lines and being really funny.  Sure love that boy.  When we got home, we had ice cream, then played Skip Bo.  ADAM WAS THE WINNER!  Yay!  It was a very fun day, and we sure love having Adam stay with us.  Jack and Evan were much better today, so I am really happy about that.  Kimmy and Jared are really taking good care of them and letting them have lots of fun too.
