Sunday, 2/14/21, Went to Church, Happy Birthday Jared, Happy Valentine's Day, Travis proposed to Kenzie

Beautiful card, flowers, and delicious candy from Bill
Kimmy's sheep had babies this morning...so cute
Bill snowplowing the driveway
Kenzie made us all a package of these delicious strawberries.  So delicious, thank you Kenzie!

This beautiful eagle was by the side of our house, and when I put the blind up, it flew.  I could see the white underneath it as it went up, so told Bill there was an eagle and it was flying to the front of the house.  It landed in the tree across the road.  I told Bill I was getting my binoculars and camera.  Good thing he took this picture as it flew just as he was taking it, and I was way too late.

Travis proposing to Kenzie...she was so surprised

She sure was happy

What a blessing Kenzie is!  She always puts pellets in for me when she is here and doesn't even say anything about it.  Vikki took this picture or I wouldn't have even known.  Thanks MyKenzie! I love you!

Texts to and from my sister about these matches from her wedding in 1976
This lamb was born as soon as Kimmy and family got home from the party...perfect timing
This sheep gave birth at the same time as the one above...Jared handled one and Kimmy handled the other...things are busy on the farm!
Jared....a wonderful son in law...on his birthday...so glad we could celebrate with him
Looks like Jared's getting so old he can't stay awake to  cut his cake

The way he cuts a cake scares me....Yikes and I thought he was Mr. Safety

Jared is quite talented though...this was the grand finale to the day...Eli and Isaac watching
The pro decided to show the kids the best way to do it even though his back was sore from holding a hyper sheep in the morning

We went to church.  I went to prayer first and Bill went to pray with the Elders over Pastor.  After church we came home, and I got things ready for the party.  Bill planned this party and I made the food.  We are a good team.  Bill snowblower the driveway and I shoveled the sidewalks and path on the deck.  Vikki and family came first, then Kenzie and Travis, then Kimmy and family, and then Melissa and family.  Kenzie made everyone a package of delicious white and chocolate covered strawberries that were delicious. We all gathered in the garage and Melissa and family were outside the garage.  We sang Happy Birthday to Jared, then Happy Anniversary to Vikki and Rody, and then Bill said he had an announcement he had to make.  He announced that we were moving....then added out of state.  The kids looked worried for a minute...then he told them the real announcement...
Everyone looked and Travis proposed to Kenzie in the garage with all of us enjoying the moment.  Kenzie is our beloved first Grandchild, and Travis is a great guy.  It was really cold and windy out, so Bill brought the big propane heater in the garage.  That helped take the edge off.  After Melissa and Bruce had to go home to get their dinner ready, we all came in and took more pictures.  We ate pizza buns and then sang Happy Birthday to Jared and had birthday cake and cupcakes.  We had a good laugh over those matches above.  Jared was hilarious cutting the cake with his moves and his sounds.  (I never knew, but this is a tradition)  It was a relaxing, but very fun and very meaningful family day!  Thank you Jesus!
