My Wyatt...he sure gave me a warm welcome this morning. He’s such a cute dog with a great personality. |
It was so wonderful to spend time with Jacob today |

How many pictures does it take to get a good one of Jacob with his tongue not sticking out. You will have to keep scrolling. |
Got things covered and ready to clean the kernel burner |
The squirrel was pretty happy I filled the feeders too |
Christmas Cactus is blossoming on one side again and lots of baby leaves coming on the other side |
Sure am happy when the kernel burner is all cleaned and starts right away |
Bill went with Charlie for coffee. I filled the bird feeders since they were getting pretty empty because we were gone. Then I made oatmeal and had my coffee for breakfast. After that it was time to clean the kernel burner. I covered the furniture with sheets, then began the task of cleaning. It went really well and was super easy. I am getting better at it (of course I always know to pray first). The parts all come out and go in much better than they used to. I don’t dread it like I used to.
Bill got home and brought me a muffin from Tim Hortons. Yum! He decided to go get a haircut. He went on the motorcycle. Charlie was just getting finished with a haircut. Bill looks so nice with his beard trimmed nicely and his hair cut nicely.
Bill’s sister, Angie, had a stent put in today. They texted that it went well. Later Angie texted me that there is a complication with the artery and she will keep me posted. Sure am praying. His sister, Debbie, called and is having a biopsy on Wednesday. We are all praying for her too.
I went outside for a while and walked around. Saw that Kit Kat killed a big ole mouse. Good kitty. I pulled some weeds and put them in a garbage can. I will work more on them tomorrow when it is 67 degrees out.
In the evening, we went to Timbers with Pastor Ken and Joan and all the elders and wives from church. We had a meeting after we finished eating. I am so thankful for this group of friends that love the Lord, seek Him and have great wisdom from God.
When I got home, I talked to Kimmy, Vikki and Melissa. l talked to Kenzie earlier today. She said Rehvyn is doing great. I am missing him.
Kenzie sent me this cute picture of my sweet baby grandson We left our hotel and headed to Big Boy down the street to have. breakfast. Al and Lucy were there so we talked to them for a while. They were getting ready to leave and we had just ordered our breakfast. They are one of the nicest couples! They left, and our breakfast came. We both had the senior breakfast that came with coffee included. The breakfast was delicious. We both had eggs, crispy bacon, and then Bill had wheat toast and I had fresh fruit for my choice. Yum! Great price too! $13 for our breakfast total. We had a nice ride home with the sun shining and the temperatures warming up. We took the country route. At 10, we listened to our church’s live broadcast online. I saw that Bill’s sister Angie was watching and commented and told us hi. I answered her back. I’m so glad she listens each week. She has been since covid. Amazing worship and an awesome message. We had to finish watching it when we got home. After the service was over, we carried stuff in and unloaded and put everything away. Then we sat in our loveseat recliners and rested. I texted the girls and Kenzie to let them know we were home. We went to a worship service at our church. It was awesome and the Holy Spirit was moving. Nothing like worshipping the only true God who has done so much for us and is so worthy of our praise. Hallelujah! When we got home we got a snack, then watched Double Glance. A movie with David White in it when he was just a young kid. I read my Bible after that. Bill had already read his. |
