We ate here for lunch.

We got up and Dave and Becky made us french toast and sausage for breakfast.  We also had fruit and coffee cake.  We visited and drank our coffee after that and watched Hurricane Michael's progress as it was coming into Panama City where we stayed in Florida last year.   Dave and Becky have a trailer in Florida, so they were very interested in what was happening.  It was a category 4 and the worst Hurricane in the Pan Handle's history.  We left and went to watch the salmon jumping.  Lots of guys trying to catch them.  Only saw one get caught.  Very fun to watch.  We went to Louise's place in Independent Village after that.  it is so nice and she has everything so handy.  She doesn't drive anymore so it's perfect for her.  She didn't want to leave Saginaw, but is with her family now and they are stopping gin lots and taking her lots of places. We went on every floor to check everything out.  We stayed there for a while and then left to go to Cormack's Deli for sandwiches for lunch.  They had so many choices of sandwiches.  Bill and I had egg salad sandwiches that were delicious.  The bread was so good. We said our good byes and gave hugs and then headed for home.  It was a beautiful morning, but started to rain after lunch.  It didn't rain hard though.  Got home around 3:30.  Unpacked and did our care group lessons.  Went to Andy and Phyllis's care group at the Schrams.  It was so nice.  Good lesson and great fellowship.

10/9/18....Went to Breakfast, Took Melissa to therapy, Went to Petosky and stayed at Becky and Dave's

Peter, Holly, Louise, Wes, Gayla, Becky, Dave, Bill and me out to dinner in Petosky

Wyatt....the TV Star...What a good dog he is!
Jared and Wyatt on Television!  Way to go!  Great job!

Love that Melissa can stand so long without holding on to anything.  Praising God!

We went to breakfast.  I ate before I left home because I could only stay for a half hour.  Took Melissa to therapy.  Came home and packed to go to Petosky.  Picked Melissa up and dropped her off.  Got home and Wes and Gayla were here to pick us up.  We left and stopped in Gaylord at Wendy's.  Had a great salad there.  The trees were just beautiful on the way up.  What a great time to make a trip to see Louise.  Breathtaking color all around, especially when we got on Becky and Dave's road.  We got there around 3.  Gayla and I went in and visited with Becky and the guys went with Dave to pick up Louise.  After they got back, we visited with Louise.  We all went to dinner afterwards and Holly and Peter met us there.  Louise insisted on treating all of us. Such a sweet friend.   It was so good seeing her (and everyone else) and spending time together.  Bill had Whitefish and I had chicken alfredo. Kimmy sent a video of Wyatt and Jared on television.  Wyatt is such a good dog, the trainer wanted to use him on the television presentation.  Proud of Jared and Wyatt both.  Kimmy too!  Great training and great learning.  I was so happy to see this. We went back to Becky's and played 3-13.  Brian and Nick came to see us too, which was so nice.  Seven of us played 3-13 and I was the big winner.  Wes, Gayla, Louise, Bill and I all spent the night there.  Such great friends!

10/7/18, Went to Church, Diane and James took us out to eat, Relaxing day at home, Updated CMA Website

We went to church.  Worship was amazing.  We met James and his mom after church.  They treated us at Sullivans.  James is around Vikki and Kimmy's age and had a stroke a year ago.  Vikki knew him 20 years ago when he was in the Marines.  Bill has been mentoring him after Pastor asked him to spend time with him.  So sad how fast a life can change.  He has a great attitude though.  His mom is a huge help to him and a very sweet lady.  Praying for a miracle for him.  We came home and relaxed.    Finished my yummy sandwich from yesterday and made a turkey sandwich with the turkey I got at the Mennonite store yesterday.  We had blueberry pie too!   Watched a movie, updated our Christian Motorcycle Association Website, and watched a marriage dvd that we picked up at our CMA rally.  We got several so we can pass them to other people.  It was very good.

Hailey and their team with their trophy.  They won second in the Gold.  Way to go!

Sue came over and we went and picked Max up and headed to Cass City.  We dropped Max off at his appointment.  Sue and I walked through the Hometown Pharmacy and then went to lunch at Nick's Country Oven.  I treated her for her birthday that I missed because I had so much going on.  We both had the Turkey Slim Jim Sandwich.  It is so delicious.  We went to the Mennonite Store after that.  We got some meat, desserts, etc.  I brought a cooler to keep stuff cold, so we loaded it up.  We got home and dropped Max off.  Went in because Sue wanted to meet Bruce's dad.  Happy to see the other kiddos too.  Dropped Sue of and got home and made eggs and toast for Bill and warmed up my Olive Garden Meatball Pizza leftover.  Bill and I were happy to see Justice Kavanaugh confirmed  What those evil people did to him and his family was horrible.  Guess the FBI proved they were lying.   Justice and truth for Mr. Kavanaugh.  Thank You Lord!  I loved the President's speech in Kansas and all he has done for our nation already.  AMAZING!

Walked with Bill at SportsZone for three miles.  Picked Melissa up and went to Olive Garden for Lunch.  She had a salad and a small spaghetti bowl and I had a meatball pizza bowl and Soupa Tuscana. We had yummy breadsticks too.  We went to Gordon foods after that so I could return some wrong sized cups I picked up  and then we went to Rite Aid.  Got to therapy just in time.  She went on the lokomat today.  Came home and defrosted the freezer in the basement.  Went back and picked Melissa up and dropped her off at home.  Came home and Bill and I napped on the recliner.  Washed out the freezer in the basement and put stuff back in it.  Picked up Pat and Rich and went to  the American Legion in Bay City and had fish dinners.  It was good, but we sure had to wait a long time to get our food.  Some people were there from the Marine Corp League.  We visited with them for a while, then sat back at our table.   We sat with a really nice couple from Bay City.  He had been in the army.  He reminded me of my dad.  They were originally from Bad Axe and Kinda and new lots of Pat's relatives.

10/4/18...Took Melissa to therapy, Kernel burner guy came, Went to Marie's, Had officer's meeting at our house

Yay, now we have heat.  Our kernel burner is cleaned and keeping us warm now.

Took Melissa to therapy at 8 a.m.  We saw Paul there (he had Guillian Barre')  He is walking so good now and has been released from Physical Therapy.  He just has to go for O.T.  Needs work on his shoulders yet.  So happy to see him doing so good.  He was very happy to see Melissa doing so good.  Last time he saw her she couldn't even use the walker.  I got home and the guy from the Kernel Burner was here waiting for me.  He wasn't supposed to get here until between 11 and 1.  I got here at 10:45.  He was nice and it didn't take him too long before it was all cleaned and ready to use.  I left for Marie's after he left.  I washed a valance and hung it to dry for her.  Washed the porch windows and and the woodwork around them.  Cleaned her three  bathrooms for her.  We got to pray with Jerry and I got to share Melissa's miracle the Lord did.  He was so touched and wants his fiancé to here it.  God is so good!  Marie told me she loved it when I was there and felt sad when I had to leave.  She gave me a big hug.  I sure will be happy when she can feel good and get around good again.  Roy got his grass cut.  Bill got our grass cut too.  Stopped and picked up Culvers for dinner.  Had the officer's meeting at our house.  Had 9 here.  Beemer's came which was nice.  Vicki brought yummy cookies and I had cider and donuts from Baynes here for snack.  It was a good meeting.  Wes and Gayla stayed to play cards afterwards.  Wes was the big winner.
