Day 23, Tues. 4/7/2020...Only 5600 steps today, lots of cutting fabric for face masks for church,

Cutting out fabric for face masks for our church for other ladies to sew
Other material I will be cutting too

Great devotion with Pastor online today.  Read our Bibles, prayed and worshipped.  Lots more time to be in the Word during this pandemic.  Made eggs, potatoes and bacon for breakfast.  I walked around outside when it stopped raining.  Bill went out in the shed.  I put worship music on and started cutting material.  We all communicated on Anna's FaceBook messenger while we were working on these face masks.  Cut enough pieces for 24 face masks today.  I talked to Melissa and Kimmy and texted Vikki and Adam.  We called Bill's brother, Fred, and talked to him for a while in the evening.  They are being super careful out in Washington too....ordering their groceries, washing them outside, sanitizing everything.  We called James and talked to him.  He said 5 from Great Lakes were taken to the hospital today with Covid-19.  He has to stay right in his room now.  We are going to go wave to him through his window sometime this week.  Talked to Marie again today to and also Sue.  Praying for Charlie...something is going on with his blood test so he is being checked out.  Please pray for him.  Talked to Kimmy and told her I was making mashed potatoes, hot dogs, and asparagus for dinner.  She decide to have the same thing.  Jared was going to grill the hot dogs. A few minutes later Bill told me to call her and tell her they were supposed to get 60 mile an hour wind gusts, rain and hail.  I think that ended the grilling outside.  She called to let me know they had gotten a quick storm with hail.  No damage to their vehicles though.  Yay!

Day 22, Monday, 4/6/2020...Walked, Anna dropped material off, Bill washed my car

Bill washed my car and his truck
Made my first facemark

We listened to Pastor's morning devotion on Psalm 118.  Bill slept more after that and I walked on the treadmill 2 miles.  Made us oatmeal with raisins, nuts and bananas.  We read our Bibles, prayed and worshipped.  Anna dropped off material on my porch for me to cut out facemark pieces.  I am a cutter with other cutters, those who know how to sew well are sewing.  We are making them for a correctional facility a person from our church works at.  Lots of volunteers to help make them so that's good.  I cleaned the living room, then I went outside and picked up some sticks and put them on the brush fire Bill had started.  He emptied the truck of the brush Rody loaded in the back the other day.  He told me to drive my car back and he would wash it for me.  That made me really happy.  He did a great job and washed his truck too.  I talked to all of the girls.  Peyton was happy she won the Amazon gift card drawing.  She didn't want to be on video saying her Scripture verse, but now was happy she did it.  He made his noodle soup with dumplings for dinner.  Yum!  He gave me a night off from cooking which was nice and very appreciated.   We watched the President's update.  I missed most of it because Marie called me during it.  She had a good report about Roy's test so that was wonderful news.  We watched our shows and relaxed in the evening.

Day 21, 4/5/2020...Great church service this morning online, Nice and sunny out 50 degrees

On the front porch praying....beautiful day
Beautiful spring day!  I love Kenzie's bird house she made me when she was in school.

Got up early so I could get ready and spend a half hour praying for our morning service today.
The worship team did a great job playing together from their individual homes and Pastor Ken's message was really good.  I listened to Kimmy's church service also, and it was great.   I also listened to Hopevale's which was also good.  I was able to place my Aldi order for home delivery today.  It will be here between now and Wed.  They will text me when they are bring it.  I made pancakes and bacon for brunch.  Spent a lot of time walking outside, looking at flowers coming up.  I talked to all three girls today.  So happy to be a close family.  Adam texted me a few times which I love.  I spent time outside sitting in the sun on the front porch praying with Intercessors for America for my time slot of 430-5.  Made sirloin burgers, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and had applesauce for dinner.   We got online and Pastor Ken led us all in prayer.   It was a great time of prayer.  He prayed for Misty and her family for comfort because her brother passed away at 37.  I talked to Merijo after that and prayed with her.

Ironed and folded coffee filters for the face masks our church is making

Bill with his new glasses on.  Eating Teraki chicken, carrots and potatoes cooked in the air roaster

Bill slept in.  I got up and walked 3 miles to worship music.  We ate oatmeal, then did our daily reading, praying, etc.  It was rainy and gloomy all day.  Only went outside twice today.  Bill and I went to the post office.  Everybody in there had face masks on except one.  I wore mine and had Bill stay in the truck.  They had big yellow X's on the floor spaced very far apart for us to stand on so we wouldn't be close.  They also had a big sheet of plastic hung in front of the workers, so we were all protected.  The workers wore gloves and masks too.  We stopped over at Vikki and Rody's to pick up some brush to bring here and burn for them.  Bill honked and Rody and Isaac came out and loaded the brush which was by the road, into the back of the truck.  Isaac was a great helper.  Vikki was sleeping so we didn't get to see her.  On our way home, we passed Jack's and people were coming out with face mask on there too.  Then we passed some walkers on Bay Road and they also had face masks on.  I'm glad to see people taking this seriously.  When I got home, I ironed coffee filters and folded them in half for the face masks a lot of us ladies at church are making to give away.  Adam and I texted and Melissa, Vikki and I talked on the phone.  I watched Molly Jo's birthday parade on FaceBook.  So sweet of everybody to help make her quarantined birthday fun.  Nice seeing my sister, Brenda, Dave and Gina their dog in the video too.  Vikki FaceTimed me in the evening. Vikki straightened Isaac's hair and he wanted to show me.  He looked cute!  Bill and I watched a Christian Comedian who was pretty funny.

Kimmy found a good spot for the big roll of toilet paper we got her
We listened to Pastor's devotion in the morning.  We ate late, after we took our showers.  I made eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes and toast.  It was our brunch.  I made a Latte from a Starbuck's mix a boy in my Sunday School gave me.  It was good, but I like my coffee from my Ninja better.  While we were eating, I told Bill I was trying the latte.  After I took a drink, I said it was really good.  He said, It was excellent, talking about the breakfast.  I laughed because he isn't one to give compliments on food much.  I told him I sure appreciated that compliment ha ha.  He did say our egg salad sandwiches on homemade bread was real good last week.  We spent most of the day outside.  Bill worked on more pens, and I worked in my flower beds.  Walked around the yard a lot and hung out in my hammock some.  When I first got in it, the strap broke. Surprise Surprise, I was on the ground.  My first reaction was to check to see if the neighbor across the street was watching ha ha.  I hung it back up and relaxed in it for about a half hour.  I talked to all of the girls and enjoyed our talks and the love we have for each other.  Can't wait to be able to visit them and hug them again.  Please let it be soon Lord! Got 9, 550 steps in today.

We both did the online Devotion on Psalm 100 with Pastor Ken.  It was very good and is one of my favorite Psalms.  Read our Bibles, prayed, and talked to Marie.  Worked outside for a while.  I went to Melissa's to drop off her flour.  I talked to Jack in the backyard through the fence at a distance, and then talked to everyone else through the glass door.  Did get to take to Bruce outside at a distance.  Bill washed the motorcycle and tractor and cleaned the floor in the shed.  I used the leaf vacuum to vacuum leaves from around my plants.  When I did the front by the driveway, I sucked out a mole.  It kind of went back in its hole, so I vacuumed again and this time I killed it when it came out.  I was so happy to get rid of it.  I brought back the memory of when I killed one out by the end of the driveway when Kimmy was here and the boys were watching in the van.  Kind of sad that time.  I was just praying a couple of days ago when I walked in the yard and was asking the Lord why we still had them since I have been praying to be rid of them for so long.  Guess He blessed me today and showed me He's going to help me get rid of them.  Bill and I went on a 3 1/2 mile walk down our road.  It was such a beautiful day and the fresh air and warm sunshine were so nice.  We ate dinner and then went for a nice motorcycle ride.  It was still in the 60's.  We ended up at Vikki and Rody's and got to see the chalk designs in person.  They are even prettier in person.  Visited outside at a distance for a few minutes.

Peyton made her first cake by herself.  She said it's my birthday cake and wanted to put candles in it.  What a sweet granddaughter

We listened to Pastor Ken's Online devotion on Psalm 23.  It was very good.  I walked 2 1/2 miles at 3.8 speed today,   I went faster and walked farther.  I called Louise, who is 96.  She is doing so much better now.  She fell and couldn't get up out of the chair without help, but now is back to being able to do it.  She was a joy to talk to and gave me the scripture...Rejoice in the Lord Always, and again I say rejoice!  What a dear and special friend.  I talked to Phyllis P. a couple of times and had a good chat.  She is also a very dear friend.  I worked on flowerbeds outside.  Bill walked 3 miles on the treadmill today.  I am so happy he is back walking.  He worked on making pens today.  Kimmy and Jared's baby chicks came.  One rare one was dead boo hoo.  Kimmy sent me some cute pictures so I could put them on my blog.  Thank you Kimmy.  They are such cute pictures.  I cleaned the upstairs.  Peyton baked her first cake.  It was beautiful and Vikki said it was delicious.  Wish I could have tried it.  She was sweet and said it was my birthday cake.  Bruce cut the boys hair.  The video, which I couldn't post, was hilarious.  Bruce was being so funny and Max was laughing lots.
Their haircuts all turned out nice.  Bruce just got himself a new job.  Talked to all of the girls today.  I love my family so much.
