Day 54, 5/8/2020, Happy Birthday to Wes, Walked 2 1/4 miles

Got some snow today..None stayed on the ground for long though
Love all the beautiful blossoms coming on my hibiscus! So fun to watch!

Yummy Chicken Salad for lunch

Got up to watch the daily devotion, but there were technical difficulties so Pastor just had us read Psalm 111 and Psalm 112 and he will do the devotion on Monday.  I looked out the window and saw that a raccoon had taken my oriole feeder and swung it around the branch.  It was pretty much upside down all the way and empty.  It also messed with my hummingbird feeder.  I was upset with that raccoon and wondering why we had these problems and others weren't.  Then I spotted an beautiful cat going under my deck.  I thanked the Lord for sending it and prayed that it was hungry for moles, etc and would scare raccoons away (they like to live under our deck).  I walked in the basement for 2 1/4 miles and listened to worship music.  Then I peaked to see if the raccoons were in the window well like usual.  They were gone!  I made eggs, bacon, and potatoes all mixed together for breakfast.  We ate and read our Bibles, then I went out and filled the oriole and hummingbird feeders again and hung them right.  I was thankful that I saw my oriole several times today feeding.  I talked to Melissa and told her about this, and she told me they had something get in to their garbage can (even though the lid was on) and get into their garbage and make a mess.  She said not to feel like I was the only one because I wasn't and she told me thanks a lot for wanting her to have critters too.  We laughed...I really don't want others to have these pests.  We called Wes to wish him happy birthday, and they told us they have caught 5 raccoons this week at their place.  I guess I have lots of company!!!  I took authority over these critters in Jesus Name, and also set a trap tonight.  Hopefully I catch the raccoon and not the kitty.  I talked to all of my sweet daughters today.  Sure love my girls.  They are amazing girls and awesome moms!  Bill and I read on our books a lot.

There's a few leaves coming on the apple tree Bill Pruned last year...boy did he prune it lol

We watched the morning devotion.  We both read our Bibles and then read some on our books.  Spent time praying with other Christians on tv for our nation.  Thankful for a National Day of Prayer with so many praying!  Bill worked on pens some and I weeded some and transplanted some plants.  A bunny or some critter is eating my hostas and a new plant Kimmy gave me last year by the back deck.  Here kitty kitty.  I need a kitty.  Did some watering because it's been so dry.  We went to Vikki's and Bill tilled her garden for her.  We kept our distance, but it sure was nice seeing everyone.  We did a zoom meeting with Faith Riders for their officer's meeting.  It was sure nice seeing everyone.  We watched another National Day of Prayer Program and prayed along with them.  Read more on our books.

Day 52, 5/6/2020, Watched daily devotion, Vikki and the kids stopped over, Got Lavender trees

Evan did a great job building this with legos!  He wanted Melissa to show me

Lavender Tree I got today in the garage.  It smells so good.
Isaac loves driving the scooter all around
Peyton and Isaac...Vikki and the kids came over today, but I forgot to take a picture so she sent me one
We watched Pastor's devotion this morning.  Sure enjoy these.  Angie has been messaging me that she is watching in Kansas.  Filled the oriole feeder and the bird feeder.  Wanted to do it today, because we have a cold spell coming.  Transplanted some Hens and Chicks to my planter on the deck.  Most came up from last year and are big and beautiful, but a couple needed more.  Transplanted some other plants too.  Sat outside and read on my book some.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac stopped over to bring my parachute cord.  We visited at a distance, but I sure missed being able to hug them.  Vikki got some Hens and Chicks to plant in a pot on her porch.  She sent me a picture of her lavender tree and some other plants she got.  I had seen a picture of Angie's lavender plant and wanted one.  I went to Walmart and picked one up.  There was only one person in the plant center so that made me happy.  Bill and I both read more on our books.  Called Vikki to let her know our neighbors down the road that own Bayne's had a cute little dresser out by the road.  She came to check it out and loved it, so took it for Isaac.

My Hibiscus is beautiful

Jack Zooming with Abby and Peanut for his class at school

We did our daily devotion with Pastor online.  It was Psalm 112 and was so good!  Bill read his Bible while I made eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns and toast for breakfast.  After I ate and cleaned up, I read my Bible.  Bill read some of the first Watchers (Guardians of Freelandia) book.  After I prayed for a while, I started reading the second book.  I read lots today and finished the book.  It was cold and windy outside, so I just stayed in most of the day. It was in the low 50's but with the wind felt like the 40's.  Lisa from our small group messaged me and said she was going to drop off my birthday present on the porch.  I was reading my book and then looked out and saw she had dropped it off.  I was hoping she would ring the doorbell so I could see her and say hi through the door.  She sent me a message and said to call her tonight.  I made Swiss steak in the crockpot this morning.  We had it with mashed potatoes and corn.  Kimmy called and I talked to her for a while.  She has been really busy getting lots done and cleaning out the barn.  They even knocked a wall out.  It looks so nice.  I walked outside after we ate and looked at some of my plants.  Vikki FaceTimed me while I was out there.  I didn't stay out long because of how cold it was.  We talked for a while and I watched the kids do some flips.  After I hung up from her, I called Lisa and we had a nice chat.  I am enjoying my electric throw with this cold spell.

Day 50, 5/4/2020..Did devotion, walked 2 1/4 miles, Took siding off brick pillars,

Without siding on pillars
Pillars with siding
Yay...Bill asked me to help him take this siding and wood off the brick pillars today
Bill working on the last one
It looks so much better.  I wanted them back to the way they were so bad

My comfy slippers like the ones Kimmy and family got me came today.  I wore the other ones all the time and they finally got holes in them.  I will still wear them as long as they are comfortable though and then will go to these ones.
My electric throw came with the slippers today too!  My other one broke.  This is a Serta and is so soft and nice!
We listened to Pastor Ken's devotion.  It was on Psalm 112 and was really good.  Fear God, not people was in the message.  I walked on the treadmill for 2 1/4 miles afterward.  Cleaned my closet out.  Bill asked me if I wanted to help him take the siding off the front house pillars.  I sure said yes fast.  I never did like them.  I only wanted him to redo the two wood ones that the woodpecker pecked through.  Those two look nice, but I sure was disappointed when he and a guy he wanted to help give work to did that to my other pillars.  I am so happy to have them back the way they were and so is he.  I sent pictures to the girls, but Melissa and Vikki didn't even notice they were changed back.  Kimmy messaged me later and she didn't notice either.  When I told them though, they sure liked them back the way they were too.  Bill and I planted my Easter Lily outside today.  I cleaned up the weed piles by my plants and put them out by the road for pickup tomorrow.  Mashed up more strawberries today.  They are delicious. I sat outside for a while when Bill was power washing the porch floor and pillars.  When I saw he was finished, I went to put the stuff back on the porch, but he had already done it.  I read on book 2 and he read on book one of the Watcher's set.  I was so happy when my electric blanket and slippers came.  They are both so soft and comfy.

Day 49, 5/3/2020, Watched Church online, Got groceries at Meijer's

Ready to take communion this morning during our church service.  These little cups were given to us at the Jesus Experience in Florida.  They are made of olive wood from Bethlehem.
Beautiful evening

Read my Bible, worshipped and prayed before our online church service started.  Also got communion ready for us to take.  Worship was amazing, and the message was great.  So nice to take communion together and remember what Jesus did for us!  Angie in Kansas, Fred in Washington, and Dawn all watched with us.  Nice to have our relatives be able to join us.  It was 70 degrees out and beautiful even though a little windy.  I spent a lot of time outside and Bill did too.  I was reading and checking on my plants.  Bill was working on pens.  I talked to and FaceTimed with Melissa and kiddos and Vikki and Kiddos.  I got a sad text from Adam saying the bunny he rescued from the cats and dog, died.  He is so kind hearted and was feeding it from a bottle.  I went to check out Jack's to see if it was busy and it was super busy.  They were counting people who went in, but too many cars there for me.  I went to Meijer's and did my shopping.  They weren't very busy.  Not everyone was wearing a mask though so I didn't like that.  I will stick to Pat's for my shopping outings and Aldi for my deliveries.  Got everything I needed except wipes.  Watched the President's townhall meeting at 9.

Day 48, 5/2/2020, Watched Run for the Sun CMA special, Did our Ride

Bill and I...dropped our Run for the Son money off in a  box on Bill and Sabrina's porch
Bill driving us
I took a selfie while we were riding...so nice we didn't have to wear coats
Mussell Beach Drive in was open, but we went home to have our ice cream
Went to Bay City State Park
Looked like a long sandy beach again and couldn't see any weeds.  Wondering how the water is.

I borrowed these pictures from Melissa's post

Bill joined the Sandusky Chapter on Zoom for their meeting.  I took a shower and got ready.  We watched CMA's Run for the Son Fundraiser on You Tube on the TV.  It was nice to see our National Evangelists on there.  It went from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.  I walked outside for a while.  We went and dropped our Run for the Son money off at 1 p.m.  Sabrina took a picture of us.  We decided to go on a ride, so came home, ate, went potty and packed our face masks and then headed out.  We didn't want to have to stop anyplace.  It was 73 degrees when we left.  It was a beautiful day and such a nice ride.  My Sena hadn't been used since last year when we rode the motorcycle, but the charge was good and I got to listen to my worship music all the way there and home.  On the way home, Bill wanted to know if I wanted to got to Bay City's State Park.  I always like driving over there, so of course said yes.  There were lots of cars parked, but the beach was so long, everyone was spread out.  Most were on the beach, but some were walking, and some were picnicking.  Families were just staying by themselves though.  It was so nice, I could just where my short sleeve shirt on the ride home.  When we got home, we watched Run for the Son again on TV.  I went outside while Bill took a nap.  I weeded my plants around the shed.  Did some walking to get my steps today.
Read some on my book.  Watched the news and then we went to bed.
