Monday, 10/11/21, Walked on treadmill, Beautiful day, 79 degrees, Got lots done in the yard, took a ride with Bill so he could see how the motorcycle and trailer pull

The corn is coming down next door
Cut down some plants around the house, but some were to pretty to cut just yet
Today the Hydrangea blossom is absolutely beautiful
Cut the rosebushes way down.  Tomorrow other shrubs will get a trim
Love the color of this mum and excited to see it open all the way
Looks kind of bare around our shed now.  Bill and I did some serious cutting.  Lots of trash barrels full today and ready for pick up tomorrow
Yummy salad for lunch

Walked on the treadmill first thing while listening to worship music.  Played Not just stories on the tv.  Awesome song to worship to.  Drank coffee out of Kimmy's mug she made me...It says I love you mom on the bottom so is very special to me.  Bill took the truck in to get it reset.  He unplugged something to try to set something for hauling the camper and we had some exciting moments riding in the truck.  Sensors were going off, check engine light was coming on, truck slowed down and didn't want to accelerate.  They plugged it in and reset all the sensors and it is working fine now.  We both read our Bibles, then went out to work on the lawn.  He cut down the plants around the shed, and I raked and picked up the cuttings and put them in the trash barrels.  Then he mowed the lawn and I worked on cutting and trimming around the house.  After that, we both came in for a rest.  Pastor Ken messaged me to see how Hailey is doing.  He's been praying for her every day.  I asked him how Sarah, his daughter was, and she is back to work and out of quarantine.  Both girls were pretty sick with Covid, but didn't end up in the hospital, even though it looked like a possibility.  Thank You Lord!  We relaxed in our recliners and drank lots of water after all of our work outside.

Sunday, 10/10/21, I watched online church, Bill went to church, Went for a ride to Clare, Met Kimmy and Family at Cottage Creamery

My hydrangea has grown so much since spring.  It blossomed in early summer, but now is getting another blossom and little blossoms are coming all over on it.  Hope the weather holds out for it

Went for a ride in Amish Country

The only color we saw was when we were getting in to Clare
Jacob, Adam and Eli

Ice cream time at the Cottage Creamery
Adam, me and Jacob in front, Eli and Papa in back

I watched our church service online today.  So many have cover and so many have been exposed, I decided to play it safe.  Bill went as he had to get the marriage license the bride forgot to bring yesterday and have them sign it with him.  They had one copy to sign at the wedding, but two are needed.  We ate goulash when he got home, took a little nap, then went for a ride to see some fall colors.  We didn't see much color.  It was so much prettier when we came home last Monday.  We did have a nice ride though, and did have the great idea of having Kimmy, Jared and the boys meet us at Cottage Creamery. It was 75 degrees and so nice, we just had to have ice cream.  It was nice spending time together and the ice cream was yummy, especially with family enjoying it with us.  We came home and I walked around our soggy yard.  Water sloshes up my shoes in the back yard.  I found out quickly I should have put my Muck boots on.  I worked on the blog, then listened to some good worship music.  I texted Hailey, Adam and Jacob.  Bill and I played 3-13.  He was the winner.

Sat., 10/9/21, Nice day in the 70's and even had sunshine. Bill married Bob and Lynn

Silly Evan when he said goodnight to me last night on FaceTime
Max got a haircut at Great Clips.  They all take the proper precautions and were very careful.  Melissa was so happy to find a place to get Bruce and the boys hair cut

We waited 1 1/2 hours for the wedding to finally start.  It was supposed to start at 2 and started at 3:30. Nice day outside so we didn't mind

The white shelter is where the bride got ready so that might explain why it took so long lol
Kids had a balloon parade to lead them
Lynn's grandson, Matthew walking her to give her away

Bill marrying them and best man and maid of honor standing up for them

Bob, Lynn (groom and bride) and Bill

Enjoyed our coffee and oatmeal this morning, then enjoyed worship and our Bible reading time.  Adam texted me and told me about a song I should listen to called Best Friends by Hillsong Young and Free.  I listened to it and told him I really liked it and had heard it before once or twice.  I sure am thankful for grandkids who love Jesus and love to worship.  We got ready, then left for Vassar for Lynn and Bob's wedding.  It sure was a beautiful day for it.  We got there early, but the bride took a long time getting ready so we were there 2 hours before it actually started.  We sat a our table and enjoyed watching the kids play out on the playground.  They had some really sweet caring parents and it was great to see that.
Their family and friends were so nice, and were believers.  The groom played Elevation worship while we waited for the wedding to start, so that made time go by quickly.  The groom was homeless a couple of years ago, and a person from Victory church took him in.  We at Faith Riders took up a collection for him too.  He has been following Jesus ever since and God is sure blessing him.  So great to see and such an amazing testimony.  His son was one of the great dads who was so loving to his kids.  His little granddaughter and grandson sure love Bob to pieces.  It sure made me happy to see this.  It was a very nice wedding (very relaxed and laid back), and it was nice that they had everything outside to keep people safe.  There were only about 25 there counting the kids so people were just in their own groups at their table.  Bill and I had our table to ourselves, other than when the kids came in with their balloons and sat on the other side facing the bride and groom during the wedding. They are a very sweet couple and I wish them God's best.

Friday, 10/8/21, Walked on treadmill, Went to Costco and Sams, 2 1/2 inches of rain today

Evan wanted his mom to send me these pictures of his new apartment.  He wanted her to tell me it is very organized
Evan reading his book
With all this rain, the flowers are looking beautiful

Evan face timed me to show me he moved across the planet lol.  He always keeps me laughing with his great imagination.
Abby face timed me to lol.

Yay, Hailey is feeling great and is out of quarantine today.  Thanking Jesus!  Bill went with Charlie for coffee.  He isn't feeling real good and is down right now, so prayers are appreciated.  I started walking on the treadmill again today.  Needed to get back at exercising.  I could tell I am going to be feeling it later.  It's very rainy out and at times there are downpours.  Good day for a nap, so I took one.  Bill and I went to Costco and Sams.  We both masked up and it wasn't too busy, so was glad of that.  We only needed a few things from each store.  Lots of people I know are coming down with Covid.  At least 20 from our church have it, with many others exposed, plus others just got over it.  I'm glad I haven't been to church in 3 weeks because of being out of town.  Sure am praying for all of these dear people.   Our lawn is squishy it's so wet now.  I walked around and looked at some pretty flowers though and took some pictures.  We ate goulash and fresh fruit cut up for dinner.  Bill had me look over the wedding papers he will be using for tomorrow.  He's doing an outside wedding, with an outside reception.  Melissa and Evan face timed us.  We had fun listening to Evan's adventure and it's always nice to see and talk with Melissa.  Texted with Jacob and Adam today.

Bill and I delivered big pumpkins we grew in our garden to the grandkids today.  They were pretty happy and had fun picking theirs out and trying to lift them.  It was so much fun watching them.  I would never even try to lift one of these big ones.

Made oatmeal and had our coffee.  After reading and prayer time, I did some cleaning upstairs.  Put Maverick City worship on.  Enjoying new songs I haven't heard yet.  Worked some more on washing outdoor stuff and putting it away for the winter.  Bill and I went to pick up his trailer spare tire he had fixed, found a rain gauge for Vikki I had seen at Menards and got it for her, and dropped off stuff at Under the Rainbow Thrift Store.   We got some gift cards at Kroger as they are quadrupled right now. We went and picked up a Mocha for Melissa and donuts for her and the boys.  We took them over and dropped them off.  They boys came outside and hadn't seen the truck yet, so Papa showed it to them.  On our way home, a signal was going off in the truck, so Bill dropped me off and took the truck to the dealer to see what it was as he couldn't get it to go off.  They knew what to do right away, so it was taken care of and he came home.   Afterward we took pumpkins Bill had loaded on the trailer over to Melissa and the boys.  Vikki had stopped there because she was dropping off Pizza Kits we all had ordered for the kids Hartley trip, so Peyton and Isaac picked out their pumpkins too.  I gave her the rain gauge I found for her too.  Bill had to be back home because a person from Lansing was stopping to pick up the Harley motorcycle that Greg had given him to sell and donate the money to RFS. It was in pieces, but Bill got 3,500 for it and will be donating the money to Run for the Son.  What a blessing!  I warmed up chicken fried rice and fried potatoes for Bill and I made a couple of small pizza's from the pizza kits for me.  I could only eat one, so will have the other one for lunch tomorrow.  We headed to Kimmy's and I ate it on the way.  We got there, and the boys picked up their big pumpkins and carried them off the trailer.  They are super strong.  We went in and visited for a few minutes, then Adam had soccer practice, so Kimmy and Jared took him there. We left before them to move the truck and trailer out of their way.  Fun visiting if only for a few minutes.  I texted with Adam and Jacob.  Read some on the book I got at Celebrate your marriage.  It was a fun day!  Please keep Jared's mom, Lela, in prayer for good results from a biopsy she is going to have.  Believing God to help her through and touch her with His healing power.

Wed., 10/6/21, Sorted through clothes, Put some things back in the camper, checked out the rail trail, but it's not done,Dropped off fudge to Vikki and family,

Had the fire pit going while I did my reading today
Some beautiful fall colors around here now
You sure can tell fall is here when you look at our garden
Knockout roses are loving this weather

Bill had breakfast with the guys he used to hang out at SportsZone with.  I put on Maverick City Worship and just spent time with the Lord.  I went outside to read because it was nice and I won't have many more opportunities to do that this year.  I did have to turn the fire pit on. I talked to Sue for a while, then Gayla called and I talked to her for a while too.  I washed out oriole and hummingbird feeders and stored them for next year.  Also cleaned more yard decorations and put them away. I saw the woodchuck out on our deck, so set the trap to catch it.  I sorted through some more things in the house and closet and packed them to donate.  I took Taco Bell and dropped it off for Hailey.  It was so nice seeing her and talking to her through the door.  I sure am missing her.  I haven't seen her for 3 weeks now.  Bill and I napped for a while in our recliners.  I went for a ride to check out how they are coming with adding to our rail trail.  They have stone down part way, then for two miles it is just dirt and smoothed out.  It shouldn't be long and I can ride it for a long way.  I took Vikki and her family's Mackinaw Island Fudge to them.  On the way home, I picked up concrete mixers for Bill and I.  He sure was happy when I gave it to him.
