Bill reading his Bible next to me Hailey texted me last night and sent me the cute picture with Abby. We texted for a while before I went to bed. Woke up to nice pretty snow on the ground and falling, but no school closings. Bill met Rich this morning for breakfast. I hung the big feeder back out. I took it down yesterday because it was so windy out. I fed Kit Kat her soft food in the kitchen, then gave her some attention. When Bill got home, we did our morning routine, then watched some CD's with lots of pictures of Kenzie and Hailey, some of Jacob, a few of Adam and a couple of Max. It was fun looking at them. Texted a little with Adam in the morning. Went over paperwork for my doctor appt. tomorrow to make sure I hadn't missed filling out anything. I am having a mole checked out, so prayer is appreciated for good results. Max texted me, so texted with him. Went to Trinity Riders for their chapter meeting. Put prayer requests for my appointment tomorrow and Bill's back injections Thursday on the list and we all prayed together for all of the requests at the end of the meeting. So thankful for prayer. A testimony was giving of how a 13 year old boy we have been praying for that had cancer, had tests and no cancer was found. So many answered prayers from God. I talked with Melissa and Vikki on the phone. Vikki reminded me that in 2018 on this day, Melissa almost backed over Evan, but God stopped her and protected him. I am forever grateful. Nathan's life was spared when in a side by side accident, and the tree limb went through his thigh and out his back. He is alive and well praise God. Posting what Melissa wrote so I never forget!!! We were in Florida when this happened and remember getting the call from Melissa who was very shook up, but very thankful and blessed.
Thanking God today for protecting my baby! Almost ran over Evan this morning when dropping him off at school. He had gotten out of the van and dropped his change for the penny war just as Max was getting out and I was distracted talking to him. Some of the change must have fallen under than van so Evan crawled under to get it. (I couldn't see him and did not know he did this.) I waited as Max walked up to the door and double checked the backseat to make sure nobody forgot anything. As I started to pull away, I heard a honk and then someone yell "Wait" so I immediately stopped. He ran up to the van yelling "Wait, he's under the van!" I still didn't know what he was talking about thinking maybe the kid from the car behind me somehow got caught under my back bumper or something. I thought Evan had already ran into the school. I didn't even realize it was Evan until he slowly got up from the ground and I could finally see him. He looked so scared and I could hear the fear in his voice as he told me he was getting his money that fell. As I pulled away from the school, panic struck me as it started to sink in what had just happened and how close it really was. I just sat there crying, thanking God over and over again. Going over it in my mind later on, I started thinking of all the little things that made this turn out the way it did. Only a couple weeks ago the school decided to have an adult always standing at the door to let the kids in. If it hadn't been for that, I wouldn't have known and the outcome would have been totally different. I will forever be grateful to him and his quick thinking to yell for me to stop. If I had pulled away any sooner, not checking the backseat or not waiting till Max made it up to the door, the outcome could have been totally different. If the car behind me hadn't honked, I might not have been paying enough attention to hear someone yelling "Wait" or maybe would have thought they were just talking to the car behind me. All these what if's are so scary to think about but it definitely shows that God was watching out for us today. And these were just a few of the little things that prevented this horrible thing from happening. I can't wait for my baby to get home from school so I can squeeze him extra tight, I might not want to let him go! As I talk to him about NEVER EVER crawling under a vehicle again, I will also be giving him some extra hugs and kisses. Sooooooo thankful!!!!
So I just want to say again, THANK YOU JESUS! I can’t say it enough! I won’t stop! He is such a gracious God! I’m in tears!!!

Me, bill, Peyton, Isaac, Rody and Vikki....we celebrated Peyton doing a great job at her concert. She was pretty nervous to get up there, but she did it and did great. I am so proud of her! I texted with Adam early this morning. He said it was really windy there this morning too. Did my morning reading. Went to prayer at church and then to our church service. Prayer was amazing and powerful. Worship was great and pastor's message was very good. Ha ha, I almost wrote pastor's massage was really good...that would have gotten lots of laughs I'm sure. Melissa and I had a happy talk when I got home. When God moves, and we share what He has done, it's a happy talk. We ate lunch, then relaxed until time to leave to go pray with Faith Riders and Trinity Riders for CMA National Day of Prayer. Everyone was scheduled to pray for different things. We sang the Doxology in our church parking lot, Jesus loves me at the school and His Truth is Marching on at the township hall. It was an awesome time of prayer and seeking God to move in our churches, schools, government, families, Israel, the military, to stop the murder of babies, for peace in Ukraine and so many other things. After we were done praying, we went to Peyton's Choir Concert. They sounded so wonderful and all did great. Peyton was pretty nervous, so she kind of stood behind another girl and we couldn't see her real well, except for a few times. Rody had his camera set up on the end, so we should get to see her really well when he sends that to us. She is signing up for the next one, which will be about Joseph's coat of many colors. I love having another granddaughter singing in a choir. The man sitting behind me grabbed my coat and held it to help me get it on. He was a very nice gentleman. I almost didn't know what to do lol. After the concert, they had refreshments and snacks for everyone. It was pretty packed so we decided to take Rody, Vikki and the kids to Tony's. We got there and they had already closed at 2 p.m. We decided to go to Culvers. Peyton rode with us and she was happy because she wanted ice cream and something to eat. That's automatic for kids at Culver's. We had such a nice time and were the only customers in there. Vikki and I had their delicious olive burger. This is Rody's first time in a restaurant in two years. It was so nice getting to spend time together. We relaxed when we got home. I gave Kit Kat some attention and some yummy treats. She goes out the garage door when we leave now, if I have her in the garage. It was windy, so I had her sleep in there last night.
Six of us representing CMA family for Liz at her husband's funeral. Had a wonderful luncheon afterwards. Bill and I had to meet friends for dinner at 4 so we didn't each much.

Bill had cereal and I had oatmeal. We both had our coffee. We read our Bibles and did our morning routine. At 11:25 we headed to Bay Shore for Liz's husband's funeral. She is the secretary at Bay Shore and is always so kind and helpful to us and everyone. Jeff, the guy in the red shirt at our table in the picture is the one who just lost his wife last Sunday. He had been checking with Liz about her husband and praying, and now she is checking on him and praying, and also helping him how to work things out he is going through and giving him advice. He and his wife didn't have children and don't have much family. We are praying lots for both of them.
We walked through part of Costco when we got to Midland, then we met with friends, Lew and Cindy, the new president of Faith Riders and his wife who took over the newsletter for me at Mongolion Barbecue. They are great people and we had fun with them, plus had great discussions regarding Faith Riders and the upcoming year. We were there for 2 hours visiting.
Kimmy sent videos of Jacob's band playing. They were outstanding. Jacob and a girl did a duet which was amazing. I loved watching the videos. Too long to post on here. Hailey was there with her symphonic band too. None of us knew they were playing at the same place. Jacob's and Hailey's bands both got perfect scores. I am so proud of those two. They are so talented and are such great kids.
Max worked at the Humane Society today with Bruce. then they both went to Bruce's work. I love how Max loves working with dogs and has such a love for them. I'm very proud of him for helping them and taking care of them.
Peyton had her choir rehearsal for tomorrow's concert that I am looking forward to. I can't wait to hear them sing.
Bill and I typed up our prayers for tomorrow. I am praying for Israel and Bill is praying for the military. It's CMA's National Day of Prayer. How blessed we are to be able to take everything to the Lord in prayer.
Bill smiling as he was winning our first game of 3-13
Snow is almost gone
We were excited to see these beautiful deer out back
Bill and I played 2 games of 3-13. The first one he won -60 something to -5. He kept sending Adam pictures. The second game I won -23 to 76. I told him to send Adam pictures lol. Of course he ripped up that score sheet. Adam sent me a yay when I told him the score. We ate ice cream and watched the movie, War Room. It is such a great movie!
Evan and Jack very happy with the doughnuts I surprised them with
If you zoom in you can see all the deer in the field by the driveway next to our house. I got out of the car to take the picture. Had to hold my phone up really high to take the picture over the fence as you can see by my shadow lol
Made a yummy salad for lunch
Opened the curtains and the door to let the warmth of the sunshine today come in. It felt and looked so good
Kit Kat when she came in for some attention Lots of prayer again today for the people of Ukraine and others I know who are going through things. Sent Debbie another scripture to encourage her. Good talks with Melissa again about the great things God has done, how He is always there for us and how reading His word is life changing and so important for us to grow in our relationship with God. Had my oatmeal and we both had coffee. Did our morning reading/prayer. I made chicken noodle soup in the morning. Filled out some cards and got them in the mail. Took a nice walk out in the sunshine. Went to Melissa's and took them some soup. I was going to the store to get some cat food and a few other things, so picked up a couple of things Melissa needed (plus doughnuts for a surprise from me). Dropped them off. The boys sure were excited to see me both times. I am happy to have them home to visit now. Melissa took a picture of them with the doughnuts and sent it to me. They were very happy with their surprise. I got to see Hailey too which was an added blessing. I talked with Kimmy and Vikki today too. Always love talking to my girls. They are such good moms and great blessings. Bill enjoyed being out in the shed for quite a while again. We listened to some congressmen who are introducing a bill to restore Delphi Salaried Pensions that were unfairly taken away and there is great hope for justice in getting what they earned restored. They took care of Union workers salaries, but not Salaried. Thankful for fair and just congressmen who are for justice being restored. Very thankful to God for the way He has taken care of us and provided for us.
