Sat. 3/5/22...We went to Denny's funeral, Went to Mongolion Barbecue, Jacob and Hailey had their band festival and both of their bands had perfect scores

Six of us representing CMA family for Liz at her husband's funeral.  Had a wonderful luncheon afterwards.  Bill and I had to meet friends for dinner at 4 so we didn't each much.

Peyton...second from the right in front row, at her rehearsal for her Choir Concert tomorrow

Bill had cereal and I had oatmeal.  We both had our coffee.  We read our Bibles and did our morning routine.  At 11:25 we headed to Bay Shore for Liz's husband's funeral.  She is the secretary at Bay Shore and is always so kind and helpful to us and everyone.  Jeff, the guy in the red shirt at our table in the picture is the one who just lost his wife last Sunday.  He had been checking with Liz about her husband and praying, and now she is checking on him and praying, and also helping him how to work things out he is going through and giving him advice.  He and his wife didn't have children and don't have much family.  We are praying lots for both of them.

We walked through part of Costco when we got to Midland, then we met with friends, Lew and Cindy, the new president of Faith Riders and his wife who took over the newsletter for me at Mongolion Barbecue.  They are great people and we had fun with them, plus had great discussions regarding Faith Riders and the upcoming year.  We were there for 2 hours visiting.

Kimmy sent videos of Jacob's band playing.  They were outstanding.  Jacob and a girl did a duet which was amazing.  I loved watching the videos.  Too long to post on here.  Hailey was there with her symphonic band too.  None of us knew they were playing at the same place. Jacob's and Hailey's bands both got perfect scores.  I am so proud of those two.  They are so talented and are such great kids.

Max worked at the Humane Society today with Bruce. then they both went to Bruce's work. I love how Max loves working with dogs and has such a love for them.  I'm very proud of him for helping them and taking care of them.

Peyton had her choir rehearsal for tomorrow's concert that I am looking forward to.  I can't wait to hear them sing.

Bill and I typed up our prayers for tomorrow.  I am praying for Israel and Bill is praying for the military.  It's CMA's National Day of Prayer.  How blessed we are to be able to take everything to the Lord in prayer.
