Hailey and Rehvyn having fun outside

What an amazing guy!!!!

Bill cut down the pair tree the girls and families got for me for Mother’s Day three years ago because it isn’t a Native tree.  It is from China and isn’t good for the environment

Adam brought the tractor around

Adam had Rehvyn sit on the tractor with him.  He sure loved that!

Vikki videoed the guys taking the root out.  Hailey did a great job watching Rehvyn and keeping him entertained.

Hailey and Rehvyn watching in the front yard

Bill and Jacob worked hard trying to cut and did the stump out

Jacob really worked hard chopping the root.  He made me tired just watching

Peyton and Rehvyn filling the sprinkling can

Rehvyn carrying the sprinkling can.  He was such a good helper.
Yay the stump came out!

I went to Sue’s in the morning to drop the rolls and Kitty Litter off before the girls got to my house.  We visited for a few minutes and I prayed over her.  I left so I would be home when the girls came.  I left my car outside so they could put the air conditioner in the window.  It was right next to my car on a stand.  I went out and the deck was covered with leaves and helicopter tree things.  I told Bill it must have got pretty windy last night.  I blew it all off  including the cushions and the tables and chairs.

Kimmy and Adam and Vikki, Rehvyn, Peyton and Isaac all got here.  We sat on the deck for a long time.  Bill and Adam went to Tim Horton’s and then to take a window to have a new window payne put in.  They couldn’t do it in Saginaw, but there was a place in Bay City that worked on Murphy windows.  It should be done next Wednesday and will be $187.  Much better than replacing a good window.  Adam went with papa to take it there.  He was his sidekick today.  Yay!

Mykenzie came over.  We had fun hanging out with her.  She was really tired and took a nice long nap.  Having a baby plus working really tires a mom out.  I was glad she could sleep with everyone here.  Jacob and Hailey came after work.  They had sanded paint outside all day.  Jacob took a shower here.  Then we had Bill chop down the pear tree.  It isn’t a native tree and is from China.  It isn’t good for our environment here in the U.S.  It is banned from being sold in three states and we didn’t see any for sale around here this year.  It isn’t He and Jacob worked hard loosening up that big root, but finally got it out with the tractor.  I’m glad we got rid of it when it was little.  Then they planted a flowering cherry tree the girls had gone to pick up.  It is really beautiful.  Everyone left, so Bill and I packed stuff in the camper.  I watered the plants on the deck that were really dry, and put the cushions away. We are supposed to get rain in the morning.

I picked Hailey up and we went to Dick’s sporting goods.  I got her an Owala drinking bottle that she really wanted but was waiting til Christmas for.  We looked at lots of them and she found the color she wanted.  We paid and I put our number in for rewards and we had $20 worth, so it only cost me $10.  Thank you Lord!  She was so happy.  She worked hard and did a great job in college, plus served in her church helping with the kids.  I decided she needed a surprise blessing.  She was so thankful.  She helped me take pop cans and bottle back after that.  I had lots of bags full and am glad to get them out of the garage.  I took her home and Melissa had me look at a picture she took.
It was a cardinal she saw on their walk the other day at the college.  It’s a wooden cardinal.  She knows I love cardinals since Vikki got me the tiny wood one.  My girls are so much fun.

I came home, took another load out to the camper.  Did some laundry, then worked on my blog.

Beautiful morning in the 70’s to set out and read my Bible
Peonies are almost ready to open
The grass is so green and so amazing this year
I took Vikki the wagon we won so she could have it at her house for Rehvyn.  We tried it out and he loved it.  It’s so nice with all the sidewalks around by her.  So easy to pull.

Rehvyn loved cutting the grass.  He must watch his daddy really close, because he knew just what to do.  It made a sound when he went forward.

I started bread dough going so I could make Sue some rolls.  I made us some too.  It was so nice and peaceful sitting outside eating breakfast and watching the birds.  Nice place to read my Bible and prayer books afterwards too.  I checked out the garden and a critter, probably a bunny, ate our lettuce, broccoli, and kalarabi in the garden.  Bill lowered the wires now so they can’t get under for sure.

I went to Vikki’s to take the wagon to her for Rehvyn.  I was happy to see all the kids.  We had fun with Rehvyn in the wagon, watching him cut the grass and just being so cute in general.  I love how he holds his hands out to me and when I pick him up says up.  He kept going between Peyton, Vikki and me holding his hands out to us.  He says Isaac and Peyton’s names so clear now.  He’s just growing up fast.

I left to go to Sam’s Club to get things for camping, then Walmart, Home Depot and Meijer to see if I could get the veggie plants the bunny ate.  I headed for home so I could get the bread dough out of the machines and make the rolls.  It was really raised when I lifted the lids.  I quick made the dough into balls and let them rise.  I had just enough time to bake them before we left for Evan’s graduation.  They were a little warm when I put them into bags.  I called Sue and she was going for a nice ride with her sister in law, so I am going yo drop the rolls off tomorrow which works better for me.

Evan’s graduation was nice and we are very proud of him.  We took pictures afterwards and talked to Ginny and her mom.  Then we went over to Vikki and Rody’s because she had texted Bill that she had a couple of pieces of cake for him.  I had mine there earlier.  We got there and Rody was grilling hot dogs.  Bill had a hot dog and beans, and I had a little potato salad and beans.  We weren’t real hungry, but it sure was good.  We all had fun hanging around together and enjoying Rehvyn.

We came home and I loaded up freezer stuff and refrigerator stuff and took it out to the camper.  I also took other food and put it away ing the cupboards.  Then I came in and worked on my blog.  It was 12:30 after I went to bed.

Wagon set up

We went to the 9 am service at church today.  Got there early so Bill could pray over Pastor with the elders.  I went back in my Sunday School room and got things ready.  My helper for today, Renee came in the room and introduced herself.  I hadn’t met her before.  She was so nice.  We went into the church service.  Worship was amazing.  Josh was singing again after having some problems with his voice and much prayer for it.  Melody was singing and a new girl.  Brittany was playing the piano for worship for the first time and did great.  The songs were so moving.  We took communion after worship and it was a worshipful time too.  Pastor Ken does the best job explaining communion, stressing to examine our hearts and gives us time to do so, explains it so well and makes it such a special time of remembering what Jesus did for us.

I went back to teach Sunday School.  Marika was my teen helper.  Coleen was back to help Thomas.  They were all amazing helping with the kids.  The kids were amazing too and no one got their name on the board.  They listened and answered the questions so well.  Love these kiddos.

After church, we came home, changed, then went to meet Bev and Jim at the Midland Fairgrounds to walk through the flea market.  It was so huge.  Lots of stuff to look at. After we were done looking, we got food to eat.  The three of them got hamburgers and I got a walking taco.  We all liked our food and had a nice time talking while we ate.

We went to the Country Creamery afterwards and got ice cream cones and Jim got a shake.  Their ice cream is the best.  Their waffle cones are fresh and delicious too.

Bill and I went to Stacie and DJ’s after that.  She had called and wanted to know if we could come over because we hadn’t gotten together for Mother’s Day.  She is like a daughter to us.  We drove by our two previous homes on our way.  Always fun to do that.  Brings back lots of great memories.  We visited with Stacie and DJ on their back patio which they have worked on and made so nice.  Stacie also took me in to show me their screened in porch which they have re done.  It’s her happy place now.  So beautiful and I am so happy for her.  She is such a sweet caring person.  They gave me a very pretty and sweet Mother’s Day Card.  We had such a fun time visiting with them.

We got home, and I turned the sprinkler on and watered the garden.  Bill put the butterfly bell garden stake in the garden for me.  I used the sprinkling can and watered our plants we just planted.

Wes and Gayla came at around 7.  We visited in the living room and talked about out plans for our upcoming camping trip to Irons.  After that we played 3-13.  I didn’t start out so well, but then Gayla accidentally threw me a wild card.  Then she dealt the next hand and turned up a wild card for me.  Then I got about 3 pat hand winning hands.  Wow!  I just kept going backwards and ended up winning.  Gayla had said that whoever wins gets the red camping chairs with the umbrella in the family room.  Ha ha!  I sure did good after she said that.  We ate M & M’s, cashews and pecans mixed together for our snack.  Vikki FaceTimed me and we all got to see Rehvyn outside practically running.  He loves it outside so much.  I wish I could have got the wagon over to her.  I am taking it to her tomorrow.  He’s going to love being pulled in that.
