We went to the early service at church.  Hailey was already there.  Her friend came later.
Worship was really awesome.  Pastor Justin gave the message.  It was a good one about fathers.  After church, we prayed at the alter for people.  We left and came home, changed, and then picked Hailey up and went to Frankenmuth.  We set up our chairs by where Tom had roped a section off.  Then we went to get something to eat.  Fred, Lourdes and Jorge were getting hot dogs and brats at a stand.  We talked to them for a while and met her brother for the first time.  Bill got a hot dog with them.  Hailey, Peyton and I went to Taco Bell and got food there.  Peyton just got a drink.  We went back and everyone was there, so we visited before the parade started and had big pretzels and red licorice.  It was super special having Fred, Lourdes and his brother there and also Doug and Lela.  Fred hadn’t been there in 30 years he said.

The parade was nice, but there are not the nice floats, lots of bands and other things they used to have that made it more special.  Melissa texted me that Abby was dying, so they were leaving to go be with Max who was home with her.  She died 5 minutes before they got there and died in Max’s arms.  She was so loved and had the best family!  She texted me and I read it to Hailey and Bill.  Hailey and I had a good cry.  I turned around and gave Hailey a love tap on her knee and some napkins to dry her eyes.  I knew how hard it was for her so I took her home, while Bill went into Debbies.  I needed time to cry and then have my eyes better before going to the party.  Hailey really took it hard.  I went back to give her a hug in the backseat of the Jeep and told her Abby was her dog, even though I loved Abby like she was mine.  I always sent Hailey pictures of me and Abby saying she was my dog while Hailey was at college.  We liked teasing each other.  I have so many special memories of Abby.  She was 16 years old.

I drove the Jeep with the top off and did a good job.  I dropped Hailey off and their chairs from the parade off, picked up the boys swimsuits and stuff and headed back to Frankenmuth. Fred and Lourdes had to leave because her brother’s back was bothering him.  He is having back surgery soon.  I was sad they couldn’t stay. I was happy to see that Kenzie and Rehvyn came.  It was nice watching the kids swim and nice visiting with everyone.  The food was delicious and there was plenty of it.

It was nice that we got a 3-13 game in with Lela, Doug, Kimmy and Jared.  Matthew had fun watching us play.  He is going to be a volunteer for Hospice and also will be working at Covenant greeting people.  He is pretty excited about it and I am excited for him.  We had some cookies while we played.

On our way home, we stopped at Sister C’s and took her a plate of food Debbie fixed for her.  We visited with her for a little while, then went to Melissa’s to drop off the baked beans Bruce had made.  When we got home, Bill loaded some things in the camper.  We played a game of 3-13 which he won, then slept in the camper again.  We sleep really good out there.

Saturday, 6/14/25, Went to Faith Riders meeting, went to Birch Run for key, went to Tim Krause’s retirement party, Max and Bruce came over to practice target shooting, Melissa and Hailey came over to see the camper and visit for a while, Bill cut the grass, I weeded my garden, I cleaned the whole motor home! Bill and I stayed in it again tonight,l

Pretty white peonies. They don’t smell as good as the pink ones

Vikki and Isaac were still sleeping when we left to go in the house.  We got ready then ride the trike to Faith Riders meeting.  We had 5 visitors today that was great. Gene and Pat, Marion, Joann and her sister Mary. They all ride their own bikes.  There are also people who want to start chapters in Tawas and Midland which is answered prayer too.  It was a great meeting! Lou and Cindy told us they bought at Toy Hauler RV. Yay!  Cindy hasn’t wanted to camp, but she’s lost 50 lb and has energy back and really is excited about it now.

We rode our trike to Camping World because Bill left the key for the big tool box on our trailer on his key ring he left the with our old motor home keys.  After we got those, we dropped a return off at UPS and then picked up a retirement card from Ollie’s.  We came home and changed, filled out the card and put a check in it, then went to Frankie’s in Hemlock for Tim’s party.  It was just family and a few friends.  Nice seeing Cathy and Tim, Brittany and Nolan and their family and Kyle and Ellen and their family and getting to visit with them.  Brittany is having another baby in November and is going to find out what it is. We’re all hoping for a brother for Bentley!  The kids had got ducks out of a pay machine, so Bill went out and got more ducks out of our Jeep mode the kids. They sure were happy about that.  They had Carol’s sheet cake for dessert. It was so good.
We came home and Bruce and Max came over to practice shooting.  Bruce brought me a big container of strawberries from a friend at works house. So sweet of him!  Melissa and Hailey came a little later and looked at the camper and visited for a while.
