9/21/16...Went to walk at Sportszone. Bill was there at 5:30 and was done walking and playing Euchre with his friends. Vikki and Kimmy were at my house when I got home. Melissa came shortly after. We had fun visiting and updating our phones. The girls had salad for lunch and I ate the other half of my sub I got yesterday.

During our Faith Rider's visit to Shield of Faith Church, Bill was talking about Run for the Son and how we raise money for the Jesus Film, Open door which distributes Bibles, and Mission Ventures which gives motorcycles to pastors in foreign countries so they can get to their churches. A lady handed Bill a note afterwards and said she wanted to donate this motorcycle with only 9,000 miles on it, 2 leather jackets, and a helmet to sell and give the money to Run for the Son.  God is amazing!  It was our friend, Steve Bluer's mom.  We didn't really know her though. Bill is changing the spark plugs, fixing it up and he washed it.  It is looking so good!  Praying God sends a buyer quickly so we can donate the money to Run for the Sun.  The church blessed us with a $300 check to donate too!  They also made Bill a birthday cake and brought it down the aisle as it was his birthday.  We used to go there and they were so sweet to us.

Aunt Kimmy and Kenzie.  So much fun with the girls and Kenzie here today!

Aunt Missy and Kenzie

Kenzie played her guitar for us.  It sounded so good!

Had fun with my kiddos at Church!  They are gluing paper leaves on their pictures

More of my kiddos!  The girls like to sit at the girls table and the boys like to sit at the boys table they say

Here's the whole group.  They did such a good job and were so good.  Poor Peyton was sick so she couldn't come.  Evan was cute.  When I introduced myself, I said Miss Penny, like money!  The kids went around and said their names for a new boy that was there and when they finished, Evan raised his hand and when I went over to him, he said to me really serious, "but your name is really Nana isn't it".  He was so sweet.  He and Isaac did so good and had so much fun with the kids.

Amazing that I have 3 grandkids in my class.  I am so blessed!

I was so blessed to see Hailey afterwards and here that she and her team won all three games against Peace.  They are the best team and she never thought they would beat them.  Was so sorry I forgot her game there and didn't get to see it.  I was thinking too much about getting ready for my class I guess.

9/20/16..Kimmy and Jacob came to town for Jacob's dentist appt. Jacob's selling yummy candy. So nice seeing them. Norman had a good day today!

Bill told me to go look at the Crane in our yard.  Looked out in the back yard and this blue heron was walking so close to the house.  He flew a little close to the ground and headed for the front yard.  By the time I got my phone to take a pic, he was pretty far away

Went to breakfast.  Only six of us there.  Had a good breakfast and good fellowship and then headed to Wes and Gayla's to pick pears.  Got a bushel and a half.  Also got strawberry plants from them to plant.  As soon as I got home I planted them in the planter Bill made me.  Can't wait for yummy strawberries of our own.  Kenzie came over.  Picked cherry tomatoes and we both had a salad.  Then we had chocolate covered blueberries.  She gave Mocha a bath.  I had planned on it and had everything set up.  She has always loved giving her baths.  Made me pretty happy.    Kimmy and Jacob stopped in and we bought some yummy candy from him.  He left it here so it wouldn't melt in the car while he was at the dentist.  I took it to Vikki's with me when I went to meet them there to visit.  Had a nice time.  Jacob was really happy with all the Star Wars shirts Vikki found at a garage sale for him.  She also got a shirt for Jared and 2 costumes for the boys.  Great finds and everything was only $5.  She finds the best deals and so does Kimmy

9/19/16...Went to Hailey's Volleyball game! She did great and has a amazing serve. Her team won 2 out of 3 games! Way to go!

Didn't think of taking a picture until Hailey's game was over!  It was so exciting

The team was pretty excited

Hailey was a happy girl for sure

The boys didn't have any accidents for the past 5 days!  Yay boys! Way to go.  Way to go too, Peyton.  You haven't had any....It was surprise day!  They were all so excited.  Every family has flexible fort makers now!

Evan, Max and Abby, Hailey and Jack

Made salsa today

Bill and I went and got gas this morning.  Got it for $1.56 a gallon and got the whole 35 gallons because Bill filled my car and the gas cans.  We had 70 cents off a gallon at Kroger.   Came home and picked tomatoes, kalarabi, peppers, jalepenos, and onions in the garden.   Washed all the bedding in the camper and hung it out to dry.  Picked Melissa up at 3:45 and went to Tony's for a burger, fries and root beer float.  We had fun as she taught me the right way to pour ketchup.  It came out nice for her but slow as could be for me.  Then when we poured our root beer floats into
to go cups, she poured hers just fine (she had her ice cream all cut up) and when I poured mine, the big hunk of ice cream plopped in and splattered down my cup.  Melissa wanted to give me lessons on that too.  She was so funny!  We asked for straws when we paid because they never gave us any. Well, we got in the car and the straws fell down the crack by my seat in the car.  We both went to try to get them and knocked heads.  We laughed so hard.  We couldn't get those straws no matter if I moved my seat forward or backwards.  Finally I went in the backseat and got them that way.  We were a couple of minutes late for Hailey's game.  She didn't play in the first game.  They have twice as many girls on the team this year.  They lost that game.  Celeste had told me in church that they weren't any good and had lost all their games and would lose these ones too.  I told her she needed to be positive and not say that.  I also told her I would pray that their team would win.  Melissa and I prayed at the restaurant that they would win and Hailey would do great.  Hailey played in the next two games and they won both games, by lots of points.  Hailey sure can serve good.  Love watching her and her team play.  Came home and made salsa.  Bill liked it when I had him test it.  Got sad news about Norman.  He has Addison't disease. I sure am praying for a miracle for him like God did for Stumpy, or for the medicine to be cheaper.  Trusting God like we always do.  He always gets us through.  So thankful!

Our care group this year.  Missing Olivia, Rich and Dennis in the picture.  It's going to be a great lesson with wonderful people
Max looks handsome with his amazing haircut from his Aunt Vikki too!

We went to church.  L.A. Joiner gave a wonderful message on faith.  After church we came home and changed and then went to Pastor and Joan's house with all the elders and L.A. and his wife Teresa.  Joan had made chicken noodle soup, chili, salad, delicious bread, blueberry and apple pies, and brownies.  L.A. and Pastor shared with us afterwards.  Had a fun time!  Came home and relaxed for a while. Left for our care group at church.  We had 14 of us there in our group.  Pastor facilitated all four groups.  The Shaw group was there, the Engelhard group, the Koepke group and our group.  We each sat in our groups.  Afterwards we sat in a circle with our group and introduced ourselves and then we prayed for each other.  I borrowed all of these pictures from the girls Facebook posts today.  Thanks girls!

We went to church at 8:30 to hear L. A. Joiner teach on Winds of Change for the church.  It was very good.  We had brunch and went back in for a question and answer session.  Afterwards, I dropped Bill off at Walmart to raise money for Toys for Tots, etc with the Marine Corp. League.    I went in and picked up BBQ wings and also grapes to take to Piper's.  I came home and got stuff ready and then went back at 2 to pick Bill up.  We came home and left at 2:45 to go to Piper's and Dave's.  They had a very long driveway.  We got back to the house and it was beautiful.  It had a beautiful setting with a pond.  We had the party in the shed which was fixed up very nice.  We ate first and then some played ping pong and some of us visited.  I was happy to see Andy, Shiela and Rosie there.  Than a couple from New Life came who had been at our church this morning, Jill and Darrell.  We had fun and Bill won the tournament and got a plant as a prize.  Then Piper's daughter, Destiny, sang He Loves Me by David Crowder and played her guitar.  She has a beautiful voice.  Then Piper,  Dave, and Bill took turns telling cute jokes in the mic.   We had such a nice time.

9/16/16...Went to the dentist and then Vikki and I went to Kimmy's

Love this picture of Jacob, Adam and Eli with Norman!!!

Went to the dentist to get a tooth filled.  I didn't even feel him give me the shot to numb it.  I was nervous because this is the first I have had this dentist work on my teeth.  Had to have a filling that fell out replaced.  I didn't feel anything while he worked on it.   So happy when I prayed to pick the right dentist, this is who God gave me.  After my appointment, Vikki and I went to Kimmy's.  We wanted to be with her when she got the call from the vet.  The vet didn't call so Jared called them.  They hadn't gotten the results yet.  They said they were just as anxious to hear as Kimmy and Jared.
Sure am praying for a good report...something easy and not expensive to take care of.  Norman was doing great when we got there and even ate some of the soft canned dog food we brought him.
He kept it down and ate a few more spoonfuls later.  Then later he got bad again and couldn't stand up.  We went outside and when he went down the steps his legs gave out and he fell.
We went for a walk in their woods and Norman stayed by the house waiting for us.  Kimmy helped him up the steps and then had to carry him in.   When it was time for the boys to get off the bus, we walked down the road to meet them.  We were so happy to see them.  Kimmy and the whole family had a neighbor's house warming party to go to, so we left right away.  Came home and made spaghetti for dinner.

9/15/16...Vikki came over and we cleaned my house. She is amazing! My house is spotless. So Happy

Peyton and Isaac picking their pumpkins out

Here they are with their pumpkins

Pumpkins Evan and I picked from the garden.

Matt, Lonnie, Wes, Gayla, Roz, Lupe, me and Luis at the Rescue Mission serving popcorn and drinks to the guys while they watch the movie we are showing

Vikki came over after she dropped the kids off and we started cleaning my house.  We listened to Code Orange Revival at Elevation Church.  We laughed so hard at Joyce Meyers and some of the other preachers.  Sure enjoyed listening.  Can't wait to listen to more.  We worked while we listened.Vikki is the best cleaner ever!  My house is spotless....she got grime and grease off the front of my stove, moved everything and cleaned under everything, washed woodwork and door frames, washed window sills and space between window and screen, cleaned the furniture really good, helped me move furniture in the living room around and so much more.  Then we had to leave and go to the Rescue Mission.  We showed the movie, Flywheel.  There were 21 men that showed up to see it, plus 9 of us from Faith Riders who were serving popcorn, pop and cleaning up afterwards.  The movie touched a lot of their hearts.  They were really into it.  Amazing what a movie can do when it is anointed by God.  One guy at Bill's table started crying.  Another asked for prayer for addictions after the movie was over.  They all thanked us for coming to show movies.  It didn't take us long to clean up with so many helpers.  Came home and Vikki had cleaned the large bedroom and it looked amazing.  She cleaned the other bedroom really good and then left.  I appreciate all you love and hard work so much Vikki.
We have been praying for Norman today and are waiting for the blood test results. Sure love that doggie.
