We saw Joe first, the a girl to us out to the garage to our new motor home. A guy showed us how everything worked. Spent time going over warranties, etc, Bill drove us home, Vikkiabd Isaac helped put things in it, we all spent the night in

We picked Vikki and Isaac up at 8:30 in our motor home. We rode to Camping World.  Vikki felt dizzy and sick on the way.  Isaac sat up front with Papa.  We talked with Joe and then he took us to another girl who took us back to where our camper was parked in the building.  Vikki’s eyes sure got big when she saw how big it looked.  It looked way bigger to me than the first time I saw it too. Probably because it was in a garage.  A nice worker took us through it and showered us how everything worked.  He pulled the car mattress couch out to a bed and showed us how to blow it up with a switch but only turned it on for a second.  After we finished that, Vikki and Isaac went and walked through new campers in the showroom.  We did that the other day. Fun to see all the new stuff.  Bill and I had to listen in an office to all the warranty packages, do insurance stuff etc.  After that Bill drove us home in it for the first time. He did great!  It is so much quieter and rides so much smoother.  Looks like it gets better gas mileage too!  We dropped Vikki and Isaac off at they’re house and then they camped to our house and helped carry all the stuff out of the house and shed and put away with us.  What a huge blessing!  We ordered pizzas and Bill and Isaac picked them up.  They were delicious!  They put burger on instead of bacon like Vikki ordered so now we get a free pizza next time.  We worked until Vikki had to go babysit for Thomas and Abigail at 3:30. We got most of it finished.  Bill and I stayed out in it and played games and watched a mom deer and her fawn.  It was so neat to see baby eating.  Vikki and Isaac came back and both spent the night.  I had got up on the bunk and put sheets on Vikki’s bed.  Bill had to guide me down the ladder but I did it!  We all played 3-13 and ate snacks.  It was so much fun! Then we went to bed.  When we went to make Isaac’s bed he started blowing up the mattress and their was a big hole in it. Bummer!  He slept on it with a sleeping bag but was sound asleep when I got up in the morning. We all were comfy in our beds.  Yay!

Thursday, 6/12/25, Bill took Carol to the doctor, I emptied most of the rest of the camper and cleaned the inside, I met Maddy for lunch, went home and the girls and 3 grandsons were there, Vikki found a table and chair set for $25 with chairs like the ones that got broke, Bill helped me empty stuff under camper bed,

A big dead part of a tree in our woods fell down in the wind last nighty
The branch we thought would fall didn’t...the top part of the tree fell.  Not walking under that branch that’s left
Maddy and I took some selfies at lunch
We sure had fun and had some good laughs.  Mason is so cute and sweet!

Melissa, Bill with his new Owala bottle the girls and families got him for Father’s Day.  Kimmy and Vikki with their Owala bottles too.  We all love our bottles

Bill in his new Father’s Day outfit from the girls and families.  Still holding his mug lol.

Bill and some of our wonderful grandsons...Isaac, Eli, and Jack

I got up at 6:30 and got my worship time and Bible reading done early before the day got busy.  Bill went to take his sister, Carol, to her family doctor appt.  I cleaned out the rest of the stuff in the camper except the stuff under our bed.  I unloaded stuff in the house and the garage.  Then I dusted and wiped out the cupboards and vacuumed and mopped the floor.
I left to go get gas and then was supposed to meet Maddy at 1.  I was early and got to the stoplight before crossing the road to go to Miles Market and noticed the Jeep ahead of me was Maddy.  What are the chances that we would both be 20 minutes early.  We are never more than 5 minutes early.  I parked by her and was happy to see Mason was with her.  We went inside and ordered.  We celebrated their recent birthdays.  I got Maddy an Owala Bottle.  She loved it.  I had already dropped Mason’s present off when I baby sat the kids.  We split a grilled onion smash burger.  We ordered Onions for the side that comes with it.  We saw Laurie from church and talked to her for a while.  We see her a lot when we go out together and joked with each other about it.  Laurie is super sweet.
She held Mason and we walked to her table to meet the friend she was with.  They left then and we got a high chair for Mason and then sat down.  It didn’t take long and our food came out.  It’s a good thing we split one because the sandwiches are like a double size of a regular sandwich.  We both loved our sandwich and the Au Jus to dip it in.  YUM!  Mason like his fries, his pieces of cookies and pieces of a donut.  Such a fun time and good laughs.

Because we got there early, I was able to get home before Melissa, Kimmy and Vikki left.  They showed me what they got Bill for Father’s day.  He was still wearing it and said it was very comfy.  He loved his Owala bottle too.  It was nice seeing Jack, Eli and Isaac.  Of course I got my hugs.  I love seeing them enjoy hanging out together.  Close moms and close sons.  I love a close family.  We all visited for a while, then everyone left.  Vikki called and on her way home, she stopped at a church garage sale.  She found a table and chairs, that match the chairs that broke in the basement pretty much for $25 total.  Bill drove the Jeep, I drove my car and we met Vikki there.  We all put stuff in our vehicles and got it to fit.  Vikki had a bungie cord, so Bill bungied my trunk.  We only had a few miles to go.  Isaac helped unload and immediately took the chair I was carrying from me.  He did that at the church too.  He is a gentleman.  The girls are training their kids up well.  He carried the chairs we needed down to the basement.  Vikki took a video and pictures and is selling the table and other 4 chairs.  She left, and Bill and I went out to the camper.  He took the my pillow top off the bed and put it in the family room so we can put it on the bed Vikki sleeps on when she camps with us.  We also got the two inflatables and the tent that were stored under our bed.  We put the slide out in and are all set to take it in in the morning to Camping World.

Bill and I relaxed after that.  We decided to just have cereal for dinner since we weren’t real hungry.

Ha ha, Bill asked me to back up so I could get the camera man, Dan, in the picture too!

Ooh, they got to go see Rehvyn

We went through this camper just to see what new things they are doing.  Quite the staircase going up to the bedroom

Nice and roomy for kids with their storage space

This is the rest of their room at the end of the bed.  I was taking it from the staircase

Bill in the main bathroom

Nice up date on the bathroom and shower

Kitchen and stairs to the back of the camper.  To the right is another bed and storage seen below

Got up at 6:30.  Got ready and then I went outside to blow the leaves off the deck.  We had got some bad winds before we left for camping and again when we got home.  We also got rain, so it was too wet to blow off sooner.  I got it done, fed the birds and put cushions on the swings when Bill knocked on the sliding glass door and let me know the people from TV5 were here.  They wanted to do the interview outside.  I let them know we had been gone and I hadn’t wiped down the outside tables so they were dirty.  They went to set their equipment on the dirtiest table so I let them know it was pretty bad.  They picked another table on the deck and even though it was dirty too, they said it wouldn’t show in their interview.  I was a little worried she would get her nice outfit dirty from the chair.  I took some pictures of them before they started, then I videoed them when Lauren was doing the interview and Dan was running the camera.  They both were so nice and did a great job.  She was just amazing at asking questions and was so kind and caring.  Bill and I had prayed for him to not be nervous and do a great job on the interview.  He sure did!  I was so proud of him.  They are going to air it probably Monday or Tuesday of next week.  My video turned out good but you have to listen really good to hear it.  After the interview was done, they came back in the house and asked me if I had pictures of when Bill was in Vietnam.  I got some together for them while Bill took them in the family room and showed them my favorite picture of him.  They took pictures and videoed while he was paging through his picture album from when he was there.  They also took a picture of his dad and grandpa saluting each other and in their military clothes.  Then they went outside and took some pictures of our American and Marine flags and also the Marine statue that Debbie had got for Bill on his 70th birthday.  They are both going on the Honor Flight with Bill and his group.

I went to Kimmy’s and got there just as Kimmy got Eli up.  I was happy to see him and of course get my hug.  I loved seeing his amazing beautiful coasters he has made.  I am so impressed with the talents he has.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac got there shortly after I did.  We all went out on the deck and visited.   Later on, Kimmy put ear wax remover in one of Vikki and my ears a few times and flushed them out.  A little wax came out of Vikki’s but not for me.

Kimmy got things out for subs and we all picked what we wanted and she toasted them.  They were so good!  Thanks Kimmy.  We also had strawberries dipped in powered sugar which tasted really good, but I breathed some powered sugar in and that is a no no.
Yay! Kimmy’s treadmill finally came.  Now we three girls can walk all together.

The kids all had fun hanging out together.  I love that all the cousins are close.  We are very blessed!.  Kimmy, Vikki and I went out and sat on Kimmy’s new swing and chair.  So comfy.  We looked at all of her plants and cute things in her garden, then decided to walk through the woods so we could see her signs and bird house she hung on the fence out there. It looks so cute.  Adds more joy to the walk when you see a cute decorated fence instead of junk cars, etc. of the neighbors.  We looked at her other garden and then sat down on the new swing and chair for 5 minutes before I had to leave.  Bill had called and wanted me to come home by 4:30 to look at a Motorhome he looked at and really liked.  I got home and we headed to Birch Run.  He had me watch a video of it and look at pictures on our way there. It is so nice and is only 4 feet longer and has more seating for when grandkids come to camp.  We like that the driver and passenger chairs are comfy and swivel around for when we camp.  The day before, I told Bill he could look but could only get one if it was the price ours was and we got a good trade in.  He found this the next day and told me he had been looking for a year already and hadn’t found one.  The salesman was a Christian and had been in a house explosion and was injured.  They had told him he would be in the hospital
1 1/2 years and he ended up getting out in 28 days.  He’s doing great.  His mom goes on missionary trips to Africa where they drill for water.  He showed me some amazing pictures.  His dad was a pastor, but passed away 3 years ago.  We shared about the miracles God had done for Melissa.  We sure saw God’s hand in everything and felt great peace.

We sent a video to the girls to look at.  Vikki and Isaac are going with us to pick it up on Friday.  We sure are excited.  We stopped at Culver’s and had Cod dinners.  We brought some home with us.  They sure have good cod!

We came home and emptied most of the motorhome.  Bill emptied the storage cabinets outside and I emptied the inside.  He carried all of the tubs and clothes baskets full of stuff and loaded it in my car out there.  Then when I got to the garage, he helped me unload everything.  We sure were glad to get inside and sit down.

Vikki took Peyton to spend a few nights at Kenzie’s.  Eli and Isaac went with her to drop her off.  She sent me some cute pictures.

Tues., 6/10/25, Bill took the trash out, he met with Jeremy for mentoring, I did three loads of laundry, planted a hydrangea plant Marie gave me, pulled weeds, moved my plants back where they go, went to Target and Dicks, went to Chick-fil-A, blew off the deck, fed the birds

I got to hang clothes out on the line today.  Love hanging clothes out when it is nice.  It was too windy to hang the hangers out on the line, so I just hung them in the laundry room
Yum!  We went to Chick-fil-A.  Bill got chicken noodle soup and chicken tenders and I got a grilled chicken club sandwich and fries.  I shared my fries with Bill

I started the laundry right away so I could get it at least all washed by 10 before rates got up for the daytime.  I hung two loads on hangers.  It was too windy to hang the hangers out on the line, so I just hung them in the laundry room to dry.  Bill took the garbage and recycling out by the road.  Then he left and went to meet Jeremy S. at Tim Horton’s to mentor him. He is picking up at 50 lb. bag of Wild Bird Seed for me at Jack’s.

I saw the recycling get picked up so I brought the bin up for Bill.  I organized some cupboards in the kitchen.  I don’t know why I didn’t think of this a long time ago.  So much more room in two of my cupboards now.  I got on the treadmill to walk, but it made a weird noise so I turned it off after a couple of tries.  Bill got home and I told him about it, so we moved it and flipped it over and he checked it out.  The thing that holds our phones had fell on the floor when he had folded up the treadmill so we could paint and it was moving against where the belt turns but was too big to get through PTL.  Bill pulled it out and we put the treadmill back and it worked perfectly.  Now tomorrow will be my start day.  We were both tired from being up so late, so we took short naps.  I couldn’t sleep but relaxed.  I went outside and took the clothes down because it was getting really windy out.  I decided to plant the hydrangea plant that Marie gave me while I was out there.  I planted it out by the shed.

Bill and I went to Target and walked through it.  I was looking for a birthday present for Maddy.  Her birthday is tomorrow.  I got a bigger silverware tray for the camper.  The one out there doesn’t hold enough silverware because it’s not deep enough and also needs one more compartment.  I found a really nice one for cheep.  We are getting together for coffee on Thursday.  We went to Chic-fil-A for dinner, then we went to Dick’s and I got her an Owala water bottle like mine.  Bill helped me decide on a color.  We decided to walk through the Home Store and Bill got two Quick Dry soft big bath towels, one for home and one for the camper.  I got one for the camper.  They were only $8.99 and are so nice.  I bought one for home a month ago and love it.
I watered some plants and filled 5 bird baths.  I weeded some in the back and then weeded by the sidewalk in the front of the house.   My new little three prong tool works great at loosening the soil and getting weeds out and then recovering with mulch.   It was starting to get dark, so I came inside.  I had to do two blogs tonight and now am caught up.  Yay!
