We went to church.  It was Celebration Sunday with many becoming new members, 3 baby dedications, and 3 baptisms.  We were so happy Evan got baptized and were so proud of him for making that choice on his own.  They had cake to celebrate after church.  We went to Melissa and Bruces to celebrate Evan's baptism after church.  Melissa and Bruce gave Evan a leather youth Bible and we gave him a kid's Action Bible.  Charlie and Sue gave him a card with money.  Our family was all there, except Kenzie.  Charlie and Sue came too.  Evan's middle name is named after Charlie.  Bruce and Melissa had a delicious lunch for us....sloppy joes,  a yummy dish Bruce made up of cut up veggies, chips and dip, chicken salad, and the grand finale...Delicious Strawberry Shortcake.  The kids all had a great time together and so did we adults.  Bill and I had to leave for a while, to go to CMA National Day of Prayer at the fire station next to our church.  We had 15 from our Faith Rider's group come pray.  We went back to Melissa and Bruce's afterward, and Jared, Bruce, Bill and Charlie played 3 games of Euchre.  We came home and watched a movie.  Such a great day and a great celebration.  It was Kody's Birthday today, but we couldn't go to his party as it was cancelled because DJ has the flu.  We will go celebrate with him when everyone is healthy.  Yay!  Tomorrow is Eli's Birthday!  He will be double digits now...the big 10.
