Kimmy and Vikki helped spray the Clam. Then we all set it up. Kimmy pounded in the stakes and adjusted the tie downs. It is like Kimmy and Jared’s and is such a nice sturdy one |

Bill worked very hard cutting six large shrubs around our house today. He sent before and after pictures. I saw him working hard on our ring video so called Melissa to see if Jack could help him. She took him over and Bill was thankful for the help. It looks so much better. So thankful for family that’s so willing to help. |
I woke up at around 6 when I heard it raining. It rained for about three hours. I opened the shade so I could see if it started to get windy. I’m glad I lowered one end of the awning today. At around 8:30 I noticed the wind was picking up so I pushed the button and brought the awning in. We had put the chairs away in our cars because it showed on the weather app it was going to rain. Not that we believe too much of what they say! Peyton, Isaac and I ate breakfast and then walked to the store to register.
We all went outside and set the chairs up. Shortly after Kimmy. Adam and Eli came up. The kids all went to the camp store, except Peyton who came with me to get tent spray. We went to two stores and finally ended up going to Northwoods to get some. We walked down some of our favorite aisles too and got a treat to eat on the way back to the campground. We adults sprayed the Clam, and then put it up. That hardworking Kimmy made it easy.
The kids came back so we put stuff out for sandwiches and all made the kind we wanted. The kids all went to the beach, so Kimmy and I walked down there to sit on lounger’s under the big umbrella. It was so hot and humid when we walked down there, but it got so windy if felt just right while we relaxed there. Isaac wanted to go to the outside pool so we all went there. Eli and Isaac said it was too crowded, so we went to the inside pool. It had less people and the hot tub was empty so they went in that. Adam and Hope decided to go for a walk. They came back to the camper with a cute baby kitten. They tried to talk Kimmy into keeping it, but she called Jared and he didn’t want another cat. I made Hope a bowl of chili because she hadn’t eaten. They had to leave to get Adam to his soccer practice so they put the kitten back where they found him. A lady said she looks out for the kittens (there were two more) and also the park security guys put food out for them. They left and took Hope home, then made it to Adam’s practice 11 minutes early. Yay!
Vikki started some new medication for her diabetes and was nauseous all day. She called her doctor because she has felt that way plus had diarrhea. The doctor is taking her off that and putting her back on a higher dose of her old medication. She threw up lots and almost had me take her to urgent care, but then started doing better. I was happy she felt better. Poor girl. I sure did some praying.
Eli wanted to spend the night, but where I have to go to Brighton for my doctor appointment and Vikki was feeling nauseated, we decided we should have him stay a different night. We relaxed in our hammocks after dinner and Vikki fell asleep for a while and woke up feeling a little better.
