Bill and I walked two miles at the SportsZone.  Afterward, we went to Riverside and ate Breakfast. Their breakfast is the best!  At noon, I went to Bethlehem and drove for Max's class field trip to Valley.  Max, Jacob and Cassie rode with me.  The band, choir and worship band did really great.
When I got home, I didn't think any one was here because it was so quiet.  Then I saw Bill sleeping in his recliner and Melissa sleeping in hers.  So cute and funny.  Kimmy, Jacob and Adam got here shortly after.  Jared came home and stayed with Eli because he had a sore throat and Kimmy didn't want to bring him around Melissa.  The boys ate pizza and Kimmy and I ate vegetable soup. Melissa and Bill already ate coney dogs at Old Town Drive In.  Vikki stopped in for a short time and had a bowl of soup.  Wyatt was such a good dog and is so cute.  Kimmy and I took Melissa home and then came back here and went through my mom's picture books.  We had a fun time.
Bill and I watched Hallmark Movies.

10/25/18..Took Max, Jack and Evan to school, took Melissa to therapy, Worked on the newsletter, Movie night at Rescue Mission

Hailey

Made vegetable soup

Our big maple is starting to turn color, but it is slow.  Usually not all yellow until November.

Our other maple tree is turning, but has already lost leaves.

Got up at 5:30 and got ready to go take Max, Jack and Evan to school.  Hailey was still home waiting for her ride.  I was happy to get to see her.  I took a picture of her and forgot to take one of the boys.  I took them to school and then went back to Melissa's to wait to take her to therapy.  Dropped her off at 8:45 and then came home.  Cooked up some squash and put it in the freezer.  Ate a nice bowl too.  YUM!  Picked Melissa up at 10:45 and then we stopped and got a coney dog for both of us at Old Town Drive In and went to her house and ate.  She at a cup of vegetable soup I took for her too.  We tried to call Helen a couple of times, but didn't get her.  I came home and Bill and I napped on our reclining love seat until Debbie from the Marine Corp. League came over to drop some stuff off.  We ate some veggie soup for lunch and I worked some on the newsletter for Faith Riders.  At 5:30, we went to pick the popcorn up from Fashion Square Cinema for the Rescue Mission Movie Night.  We went to the Rescue Mission and they had double booked our room.  She took us upstairs and we were in a smaller room, but it was packed.  We had 23 guys there plus 9 of us Faith Riders.  We watched God's Not Dead.  Many prayed confessing Jesus as Lord after the movie.  I love going to the Rescue Mission and serving there.  Such a blessing.

I didn't go to breakfast this morning because I took Melissa to therapy.  While she was at therapy, I went to Aldi's and did some shopping.  I went home and put groceries away and did a few things and then picked Melissa up from therapy.  Bill met me in town and drove my car through the car wash.  It sure was dirty.  I don't drive through car washes, I only wash it by hand because of a bad experience with my first car.  I went to Kohls and looked around and then met my Best Friend Vikki at Logan's.  I ordered my pop and she ordered our food while I went to the bathroom.  Kenzie had given me a pendant she made for her Aunt Vikki and nice note.  I gave the envelope to Vikki with them in it.  When I came back from the bathroom, Vikki was wearing the pendant and loved it.  It matched her outfit great too.  She was very happy that Kenzie did that for her.  Vikki also had the beautiful bracelet Vikki had made for her too, which she loves.  Sometimes it gets confusing because Vikki was named after my friend Vikki and their names are spelled the same.
We both had Salmon on rice, a baked potatoes, asparagus, and rolls.  We sure were full when we left.  Terrible boo boo today.  I was supposed to pick up two of Melissa's boys after school and I totally forgot.  I got home from m lunch and the guy from Shark Electric was here to purge our furnace pipes.  Bill came and got me to help clean some water up in the basement with him and I got busy and totally forgot my boys.  Next time I will for sure have my alarm set.  The boys went to the latch key program after school, so Melissa and Bruce just picked them up when Melissa called and found out I forgot them.  We went to Jacob and Adam's concert which was a joy to attend.  I am so proud of those boys and how diligent they are with playing their instruments.  They both did great and sounded amazing.  All the grades played beautifully!  So enjoyable.  On our way home, we decided to stop at McDonalds.  Bill picked the wrong line and got behind a pokey car.  Four cars went through the other line, while we waited.  Bill got a hot fudge sundae and I got a McDouble for $1, using a coupon.  We got home and there were two deer right before we got to our driveway.  They didn't cross the road, but waited for a minute and then ran back the other direction.

10/22/18...Cleaned the house while Bill mowed the grass and pulled stuff out of the garden. Ran Vikki's Birth Certificate to her, Mike Vargas came over for a while

Last rosebuds of the year for me
Peyton was at Goodwill and saw this case and said "mom  this case is perfect for Nana".  Sure knows her Nana.  Love this girl!

Bill and I walked 2 miles at the SportsZone.  Cleaned the house while Bill did the yard work.  I did some laundry tool..Trimmed the roses and brought a couple of rosebuds in and put them in one of Kimmy's vases she made for me.   I was making pancakes and Vikki called to see if I had her birth certificate and could run it to her at Secretary of State's office by 5.  It was 13 minutes to 5.  I opened the safe, got the birth certificate and headed there as quickly as I could.  Just made it with a minute left.  I ran it in and Vikki was waiting inside the door with Peyton and Isaac.  I hugged them and then left to go outside and get what Rody was bringing Vikki too.  He was just on time.  Vikki got the stuff she needed on time so she was happy.  I came home and made the pancakes.  Mike Vargas came and had coffee with us.  He used Bill's trailer and was returning it.  Bill and I watched a movie.

Went to church.  Amazing worship again. I taught Sunday School.  It was such a good lesson and so much fun for the kids too.  After church we came home and ate and then took a nap.  We went to Russ's Benefit at the Moose at 3 and met Bruce, Melissa, and Jack there.  Russ was in the rehab with Melissa and was in the next room.  He always played his guitar and would play Amazing Grace and other nice songs. They had him put on a small concert for the patients downstairs one day.  He ended up back in the hospital with heart problems.  Our family, church and lots of other people were praying for him and he got out and is doing lots better.  He needs help with medical expenses now though.  Jim (another friend she met in the rehab), his daughter and son in law also met us there and we sat together.  He and Melissa keep in touch since they are out of the rehab.  Jim is getting better and starting to walk again too.  It's very hard for him, but he says he is doing it because Melissa was such an inspiration to him in the rehab when she worked so hard to get better.  They all help encourage each other.  Russ was so happy to see Melissa and Jim there and came and talked to them for quite a while.  We ate and listened to the band.  Russ and his cousins and Russ and his sons did some songs too.  We came home and watched Cheaper by the Dozen.

Went and picked up Melissa, Jack and Evan at 8:30 a.m. and took the boys to their soccer games.  They both played at the same time in fields next to each other.  They both did really good.  Jack's team won 14 to 3.  Melissa and I didn't know Evan's teams score and neither did Evan know it.  It was cool but sunny and beautiful out.  Bill came shortly after their games started. Bill went to the Marine Corp. League monthly breakfast. When we both got home, Charlie came over and brought donuts and I put coffee on.  He was going to watch the game with Bill while I went and watched Adam play soccer.  We had our donuts and coffee and then started watching the Michigan/Michigan State game.  It was delayed for a while after it started because of lightening strikes close by.  I checked with Kimmy because I saw rain in the forecast for Midland.  It rained here hard for a little while and then the sun came out.  I decided not to go to Adam's game.  Then I decided I would.  On my way, Kimmy messaged me and because I didn't answer, she called me.  Good thing! Adam's game was cancelled.  I was right by the Salzburg exit, so I got off and got back on heading towards home.  Bill and I watched a movie and ate popcorn.
