Sun., 6/11/23, Went to breakfast at the church before the service, Nice church service, Headed home in a group, stopped at Lucky's in Gaylord, Got the rain we needed today

Lonnie preached in church this morning.  2 years ago he had covid and a couple of strokes and he could only say three words.  He is such a miracle and God is using him in amazing ways.  He and Alice were so loving and hospitable, letting us stay at their son's church grounds, making meals every morning and night so we could eat with them if we wanted to, and just being so kind and caring.  We had met them, but didn't really know them until staying with them.
Lonnie and his daughter Tammy did the worship.  Lonnie and Alice's son is the pastor of this church, but he had to go to his wife's parent's 50th wedding anniversary party out of town.
CMA members and Lonnie and Alice's Family.  We all had homemade pasties Pat made us for breakfast and also biscuits and gravy.  Then we went and finished packing up and hooking up the truck and then went into the sanctuary.

Brooke and Peyton at Breanna's graduation party
Brooke, Peyton, Chris and Isaac.  Chris is Brook's grandma.  She and I have been great friends for many years.
I love this picture of Peyton, Chris and Isaac
Breanna and Vikki at the graduation Party

We packed stuff up in the camper, then went to breakfast at the church.  The pasties Pat made were the best I have ever had.  Yum!  She is going to send me the recipe.  She made yummy gravy to go on top too.  We went and I put the slide outs in and Bill hooked up the truck, so we would be ready to take off right after church.   No rain in the forecast at Mackinaw City today, yay!   Those on motorcycles get a dry start.

The worship was nice and Lonny did a great job preaching.  The Holy Spirit is moving, because last week our pastor gave pretty much the same message only in different wording but meaning the same.  Same examples too.  Just amazing when that happens.

We said our goodbyes after church, then Wes and Gayla, Don, Elaine and Bill and I rode as a group to Gaylord and stopped at Lucky's for lunch.  Our food was amazing and we took lots home.  I had amazing asparagus with my meal.  The best I have ever tasted.  It was raining, but not super hard.  Elaine was the only one riding a motorcycle.  She got splashed lots, but had her rain suit on.  Still no fun to ride in.  We stopped again at a rest area in Clare.  Her gloves were wet, so I went in the camper and got mine out of the motorcycle so she could use them.  We were sure happy to be getting all of this nice rain which we sure need.  The corn in our garden is about an inch high already and all of the plants look so nice.  My flower garden is doing great too.  Bill let me come in the house after I directed him to park straight, then he unhooked the truck and leveled the camper and brought all of his stuff in.  He let me stay dry in the house which was really sweet of him.  Later on, I loaded my stuff in clothes baskets and brought all my stuff, the kitchen stuff and my hanging stuff in.  Bill helped me carry the stuff in from the car.

I didn't get home in time to make it to Breanna's graduation party.  I really wanted to go.  I'm glad Vikki took such nice pictures for me.  She and her family went and Kimmy, Jared, Jacob and Eli went.  Breanna's mom and dad bought our house we had in Hemlock.  Greg's mom would come over lots during the week and we would study the Bible together.  Her and her husband and Bill and I got baptized together.  Greg and his sister would play with Kimmy, Vikki and Melissa all the time.  We've moved twice since then.  Greg got married and the house went up for sale, so he and Nikki bought it.  The girls and I went through the house again shortly after which was lots of fun.  We have all always loved this family.   That's why I really wanted to go see everyone.

Vikki called me and face timed me.  She got a cute kitchen table and chairs and also got blinds for the living room and dining room.  Everything looks so nice.

Sat, 6/10/23, Went to Bike blessing, It rained some, so we went back to the camper, Worked in CMA booth,

We prayed for Don’s sister who tried to catch her dog that was chasing a chicken. She fell into a well hole and was down there 2 hours before anyone found her.  Had broken vertebrae and was having surgery.  Surgery went well but they told her it would be a long recovery. She was so happy we prayed for her.

Very sweet and smart service dog

Linda, me and Bill
Three cute 3 month old puppies.  Got to pray with their owner.

Some Faith Riders taking off for the poker run to be witnesses for Jesus
Close up of the stunt show.  Gayla and I passed out Christian tracks titled No Fear and Out of control to people watching it. With those titles, people wanted to read them.

Got ready and Bill went outside for pancakes.  Elaine came to do her devotion and to talk to me.  She caught me up on some things going on in her life.  Bill let us know it was time to go to the Bike blessing so we all got on our bikes.  It started at 9 which we all thought was too early, if we want a lot of bikers there.  Bill talked to the girl organizing it and she said they would have it at 10 next year, which is what we’ve done the past two years.  The bike blessing was nice, but not as many came as usual.  It worked out ok though, because we got to pray with people and bless their bikes many times during the day, who missed the group one.  This was a first for me as I did some by myself, with the Lord helping me and growing me.

What a great day of CMA people witnessing, handing out tracks and Bibles, doing group bike blessings and individual bike blessings and praying for people. People are thirsty for the Lord and His Living Water.  It was an exciting day.  All Glory to God!!!!
We worked the booth from 2-5 and had many more opportunities.  Many people who belong to CMA did the same thing.  What an honor to serve the Lord.

We all ate spaghetti that Alice made for us.  It was delicious!  I talked to Vikki a couple of times today. She is loving her new refrigerator.  Her medicine is working and she’s feeling much better already.  Thanking God.  Played 3-13 with Wes and Gayla.  Bill was the winner.  Alice came after we were playing for a while and watched! Fun and blessed day!

Friday, 6/9/23, Walked around and talked with people, invited vendors to our state rally, helped in the CMA booth, had good fellowship back where we are camped.

Linda, Paul and Debbie served in the CMA booth all day and most of the evening.  They witnessed, gave out tracks and Bibles and prayed for anyone needing prayer.  We are very thankful for them.

This motorcyclist did wheelies on the front tire and wheelies on the back tire!

Bill, Jim and I served in the booth for a while in the evening.  Many great opportunities as we talked to people, and handed out Bibles.  People were so happy to get Bibles.  A few said no, but there were so many that wanted one! The Holy Spirit is on the move!
They had beautiful service dogs next to our booth.  Bill took this picture after they put them inside.

We thought this guy was a statue until he moved lol

We all celebrated Arts 71st Birthday when we got back to where we are camping.
We all prayed over the pastor of the church were at.  Elaine, our Faith Riders Chaplain, led and we all agreed in prayer.  I had everyone pose for a group picture afterwards.

We started the morning out reading our Bibles, then went outside for a group pancake breakfast Alice and Wes made for us.  It was yummy.  Then we all headed to the rally to spend the day.  We talked to many vendors and invited them to our street party at BayShore for our CMA State rally.  Many were interested.  Bill and I came back to the camper and had lunch, then relaxed for awhile.  We went back and spent more time walking around.  Bill, Jim and I met Wes and Gayla at Mama Mia’s Pizza and had delicious pizza.  We went back to the CMA booth and manned the booth while Paul and Debbie walked around and looked at what all the vendors were selling.  We were so thankful for all of the opportunities God gave us.  When they got back we visited a while longer, then headed back to the camper.  We all celebrated Arts Birthday and had birthday cake.  Then we had a time of prayer and fellowship.  Mosquitoes got bad, so we came inside.
Hailey sent me these great pictures of where she’s working at camp.  She said she’s learning lots and loves it there. This made me so happy!

Thurs., 6/8/23, packed last minute things, met Wes and Gayla at 7-11, Stopped at Big Boy, camped at church in Mackinaw City, went for ice cream

The sun looked amazing tonight. It was a red orange color
Alice in the red coat in the background invited all of us to stay at her son’s church. She and her husband, Lonnie were so hospitable and even offered to feed us all dinner. We told her she didn’t have to provide food that we all brought stuff.  So sweet of her to offer though.
Barb and Ron putting up their motorcycle camper.
Alice, Lonnie, Rick, and Bill

We went for ice cream tonight and this Great Dane had her ice cream too.  She was such a nice dog.

We packed the last minute stuff, read our Bibles, jand then made sure we saw Kit Kat outside before leaving to meet up with Wes and Gayla a couple of miles from our house.we followed them and talked on the phone some.  We stopped at a Big Boy in Gaylord.  Gayla and I both got Slim Jim’s. Yum!
We got gas at Meijer and the came the rest of the way up to the church we are staying at.  Alice, Lonnie and their family cleaned out a big area and made it like a nice little campground for us.  They are the sweetest people!

We hung out outside and helped some people as they set up.  We had Rick, a Chaplain from Escanaba, eat chili with us.  Then we took some out to Barb and Ron.  Later Don and Elaine came so I had them come in for chili and we had a nice visit.  A little later, Wes and Gayla, Ron and Barb and us went a couple of miles down the road to Mackinaw City and had ice cream.  It was homemade and was delicious.  When we got back, Bill and I went to Wes and Gayla’s camper and played 3-13. Wes won and I came in second.  It sure was fun.
Vikki called me and said she has an infection from her surgery. It’s a good thing she went in.  If left untreated it could cause brain damage or blood problems.  I am thanking the Lord she made the appointment and they found it.  I love that sweet girl of mine so much!
