All of us on the Lil’ Mackinac Bridge |

Bill when he finished walking the bridge. We had to say we walked across the Mackinac Bridge lol. They even had the grated lane in the middle.
We got ready and ;eft for Wes and Gayla's on our motorcycles with Bev, Jim, and Tiny (in a car). As we got into Breckenridge, we saw Al and Lucy on their motorcycle, so Bill pulled up by them and asked if they wanted to follow us. They did, but when we got to Wes and Gayla’s house they told us they thought we were going to breakfast. They needed to eat, so they left and went to breakfast. Everyone from Faith Rider’s turned in their Run for the Son money. They already have $10,600 and they still have to collect from members who didn’t come. Wow they set their goal at $10,000 and went over. Yay! Since we are leadership, we can’t give through Faith Riders anymore. We gave ours online when we relaxed in the camper in the evening. We all hung out and enjoyed cinnamon rolls and coffee. Then Don led us on beautiful country roads the back way to St. Louis.
When we got to St. Louis there were lots of bikes and lots of people. We were so happy to see such a great turnout. We all went into where they had the food ready to serve us. After we ate our delicious food, we went into the sanctuary. Pastor George from Midland preached a great message, then Jeff Wheeler, one of our CMA Area Reps, did a presentation on Run for the Son and had people giving testimonies. He did a great job. The Church of God Campground took up an offering for CMA and got $1,300. They are dividing it up between chapters represented there, and it will be sent in under that Chapter’s name. It was so nice of the Church of God Campground to follow what God put on their hearts and do this for us. After everyone left who wasn’t camping at the campground, Bev, Jim, Al, Lucy, Dave, Chrissy, Kate and Ray, and Tiny came to our camper and we all sat in a circle and shared testimonies and prayed. Such a blessed time together. After everyone left, we read our Bibles and then played a game of 3-13. Bill won again. We decided to just watch church online instead of trying to make it home in the morning and go. We were tired after we stayed up so late. |
