Mon.,1/6/20, Walked 2 and 1/2 miles, Cold and windy morning,

I walked 2 and 1/2 miles.  Praying Bill starts walking again as it is so much healthier for him.  It's hard when you get out of the habit.  He took the Christmas tree downstairs and I vacuumed all of the needles that fell off from it and all the other garland we had used for decorations.   Cleaned the house and it sure feels good to have it done.  Bill went to Trinity Rider's Chapter meeting and wanted me to go, but I have something going on every night this week so just wanted to stay home and relax.  I had to call people on our small group list and let them know we start back tomorrow night.  Some I haven't met, so wanted to contact them before they came tomorrow night.  I talked to Melissa today to catch up with her, and also got calls from Peyton and Isaac letting me know they had blogs now.  Talked to Vikki too.  Got on and checked out their blogs and left them comments.  Cute kiddos!  Adam sent me a text letting me know he was home from school.  He said played Ticket to ride today and came in second.  Love that he sends me texts.  Started reading my book for this small group season's lessons.  Don't have to do a lesson until next week.  Drank some hot tea I got at the Mennonite store and is is so good.

Sunday, 1/5/20...Went to church, taught Sunday School, Went to Coty's for lunch

Snow we got today

I left early for church so I could set up my  Sunday school classroom and pray before I went to pray in the prayer room.
Worship was great and one of my prayers this morning was confirmed in worship.  Love it when God does that.  Charlie and Sue visited a church this morning. After church we went with them and Roy and Marie to Coty’s Landing for lunch.  A lot of our friends from church were there, so we added a table to theirs so we could all eat and visit.  I kept looking at a kid with a hat on in the restaurant and thought it might be Cole.  He had a hat on, so I asked Bill if it was a CMU hat. He didn’t think so. Vi finally went up to the kid and it was Cole.  He gave me a big hug. We talked for a few minutes and he said he going into the Police Academy on Monday.  He is such a nice person.  I sure was happy it was him.  When we got home, we took a short nap in our recliners.  We got about an inch of snow, so everything is white now.  I talked to Vikki for a while and texted Adam for a while.  They sure are having fun playing Ticket to Ride.  Watched America’s Funniest Videos.

Sat., 1/4/20...Went to Sandusky for Chapter Meeting, Went to Mennonite Store in Snover,

Charlie, Bill, Isaac and Peyton made the Saginaw Township Community Schools Paper front page.
They honored the veterans on Veteran's Day this year!

My three 8 year olds plus Lucy and Lenny.  Evan got his turn to stay at Aunt Vikki's.  She said he was so good and so polite
Some of the good deals I got at the Mennonite Store in Snover.  This was a big package.  I split it up and got four nice size packs for the freezer.  Wonderful for $3.03

Another Great deal...precooked frozen chicken breasts.  Put these in ziplocks too.  We got other amazing deals.  Love going to Amish and Mennonite stores.

Charlie and Sue came over at 7:30 this morning and we left to go to Bikers Across the Thumb, our CMA chapter we are State Reps for in Sandusky.  What a wonderful group of people.  It was a small group, but they are doers.  Loved their outreach ideas and how kind they were to us. We had breakfast with them.  They took care of it without us knowing until it was done.   Praying for new members who love the Lord to join them.  We went to Snover afterward to the Mennonite Store.  We all did lots of shopping and got lots of deals.  We were going to eat there, but it was super busy, so we ate in Vassar instead.  We ate at a little Cafe right downtown.  We came home and took naps.
Then we watched some television and read our Bibles and did our lesson for Tues.  Adam said Jared loves playing Ticket to Ride too.  I figured he would.

We ate breakfast.  I went to pick Jack up from Vikki's because she didn't have enough room in the back seat because she was bring Eli.  We stopped and got creamer.  I had called Kimmy to bring some, but since I had to make a trip to town, I got some.  We had a fun day...finished our 3-13 game and Peyton won.  We all watched a movie, and then ate lunch.  Then Vikki, Kimmy and I played Ticket to ride.  Then Vikki, Kimmy, Jacob, Adam and I played another game. Melissa, Bruce and Evan came to pick Jack and Max up and stayed for a short time.  Bruce had to go to a retreat at Bay Shore for the Board of Directors.  After they left, and we finished our game, everyone cleaned up, and then left.  Bill had to take Max to basketball practice, so I took the tree down while he was gone.  We watched the movie, The Ugly Dashund.

First Kiss of the New Year from my sweetie

Our New Year's toast
Love the New Year's picture of Melissa and Kimmy's families they posted.

I love my family and I am so thankful for each one of them. Kenzie missing in pictures, but I am so thankful for her too.

We got up early and got ready and headed to our breakfast.  It had snowed and the roads were pretty icy.  Gayla wasn't there because she had a cold.  We were supposed to go there for New Year's Eve, but didn't want to catch her cold, so I called Vikki who had invited us over earlier, and told her we could come.  I was pretty happy and so was she.  I put the stairway decorations away. Watched a home movie DVD from Christmas of 2004. In the beginning, Kimmy and Jared revealed that they were having a boy!  So many great memories come when we watch these.  I was in tears because of all the joy my family brings me.  Kenzie and Hailey were the only two kids at the time and they sure got the presents.  It took them longer in this video than all ten grandkids now ha ha.  Watched the video of Kenzie singing Happy Birthday Jesus in church too, and one of Uncle Jared playing with her.  He sure was and is an amazing Uncle to her.   Payed some bills and made some end of year donations.  Made ham rollups for the party.  We went there at 7 and Vikki had everything set up so nice.  She had so many yummy snacks and lots of games out and ready to play.  We had so much fun and laughed so much.  Peyton and Isaac are going to have really great memories of New Years Eve.  They took turns picking the games.  Right before midnight we turned the tv on and watched the ball drop.  Before that we were listening to worship music.  Best way to bring in the New Year.  We wished each other Happy New Year and had a toast.   After that we called Melissa and her family and Kimmy and her family and wished them a Happy New Year.  I pray for a blessed 2020 for all of my family and friends and that each one would get even closer to Jesus,,,,Bill and I too.  Thanking the Lord for all of His great blessings in 2019 and His hand of protection on us all.
