Monday, July 4,2022, Happy 4th of July!!! Slept in, went to the Wheeler Restaurant/Cops n Doughnuts for breakfast, went swimming for three hours, watched a movie, got ice cream, took Jacob and Adam home. Brought Isaac back with us. Played 3-13 and watched Facing the giant’s movie.

We went to the Wheeler Cafe for breakfast.  We took Cops and Donuts back to the camper for later.  So happy they have those donuts there now.

Hailey ended up not being able to come because Adam had a sore throat and headache. He tested yesterday and today for COVID and was negative both times, but she has worship arts camp coming up so couldn’t take a chance.  We were all bummed about it and sad.

We went into town and ate breakfast at the Wheeler Cafe and got Cops and donuts to go.  Yummy.  Peyton got a huge brownie cookie instead.  We went swimming for 3 hours.  Adam walked down with us but didn’t want to swim with that many people.  It didn’t take long and lots of people left.  We did get the hot tub to ourselves.  We went to the pavilion and got ice cream. Jacob was too full still so didn’t have any. We watched Love Comes Softly.

We ate, packed the car and put the chairs in the clam.  We practiced throwing bean bags for corn toss.  Then we took the boys home.  I loved listening to Jacob sing to all the Christian songs on the radio.  He sure has a great voice and knows every word to every song.  We visited for a few minutes, then headed back to the campground.  Isaac came back with us. He sure had fun at Aunt Kimmy’s.  I talked to Melissa and Bill was going with them to watch the fireworks in a parking lot!

We played a half game of 3-13 and watched Love Comes Softly.  Peyton kept wanting to hold my hand or have me put my arm around her. She is such a loving little girl! The kids were sad because Lenny has to be put down because he’s chewing up things at the new house and ruining it.  Poor doggie has anxiety bad.  We prayed for him.  We're trusting God to work something out.  Peyton and Isaac said their prayers and I read them the Bible.
