Bill driving us to Frankenmuth on the Trike |
Pat (my cousin) and Bill at the Marine Corp. League table |
Vikki, Peyton and Isaac surprised us while we were gone to Detroit and put the clam up. So sweet of them! Great job Team Monroe!!! Frankenmuth was so beautiful as we rode through it on our motorcycle
New hotel in Frankenmuth is almost finished. Large families can book it. |
Bill and I got up early to get ready so we could leave at 7:30. I made us each a coffee, then we left. I read the chapter we are on in our prayer devotional out loud while we rode. We split a blueberry muffin then a while later we stopped at McDonald’s and each used a code to get breakfast sandwiches. I put on good worship music and worshipped. The worship music was awesome! The last half hour I played back in my seat, closed my eyes and relaxed. We got right in for Bill’s appointment. He got a great report. No tumor, bone looks strong, no change from 2018 when he had the knee replacement done. Yay. Some calcification but they weren’t concerned about it. He needs to go back in a year. He hasn’t had any pain since he’s gotten all the prayers. We left and went down to the main floor to the store and walked through it. In our way home, we stopped at Culver’s lunch. We got back to the campground at 2:30. Jack came in the camper calling me to say hi. I went outside and Bruce and Jack had to leave so i hugged him. It was hi and goodbye. Evan stayed with us to spend the night.
Hailey and Evan ran the 5 K and did great! It was in the 80’s when they ran it! Lots of kids and adults ran. Evan, Isaac and Peyton went swimming after that. The had fun hanging out together all day.
We went to worship which was awesome, then the kids were dismissed to Impact and we had our message from Pastor Nash which was another amazing message.
Bill and I played 3-13, then we went to bed. Vikki and the kids talked some more then they all went to bed.
Big highlight of the day was that Kimmy called. We were all so happy to hear her voice and catch up some. Sure do miss them tons!
