Jacob went to see Abi today

I made pancakes some plain and the rest with blueberries.  I started cooking some bacon and sausage and Vikki finished that while I made the pancakes.  She made plates up and handed them out to the kids who were all sitting and talking outside.

Eli said they were good but not as good as his other grandmas.  He told me about all the years of Copper Harbor morning pancakes.  He was cute!

Melissa, Bruce and Hailey got here at the same time as Kimmy and Jared. Jacob went to see Abi, Adams went to see Hope and Max was spending time with Papa.  We sat around talking for a while the kids were hanging out and riding bikes.  Then the kids went swimming and we girls watched them.

Melissa and I left to go pick up pizzas.  We got back and put the pizzas and bread sticks on the table in the clam and everyone ate.  The kids went on their bikes again.  Bruce, Melissa and the kids left because they were going to watch the fireworks and wanted to be back home before they started.  Jared started a nice fire and we sat around it for a while.  Kimmy, Jared, Vikki and I moved stuff and then Kimmy, Vikki and Jared took down the tent and then took down the clam for me.   Nice to have them down and put away.  Thank you all so much!

Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and I roasted marshmallows and made s’mores.  The crackers tasted so bad we couldn’t eat them.  Peyton looked and they were over a year expired.  You have to really watch dates when you shop at Northwoods.  We ended up putting marshmallows between Oreos instead. They were yummy.
