4/22/16 All the girls came over today and in the evening, Melissa, Bruce and family came over.

Daniel and Peyton

Slept in instead of getting steps this morning.  Kept hitting the snooze button.  Got up at 7:45 and took my shower.  Kimmy got her right after I got out of the shower.  I did my hair and then Bill got home.  He asked Kimmy to do a big job for him.  The zipper on his CMA Coat was a girls he said and needed to be changed.  Kimmy being the sweet talented daughter she is, got a thread ripper and started tearing out the zipper.  She got it all out which wasn't real easy as it was black thread on black, and then went upstairs and sewed it in the right way.  She is AMAZING!  Her dad was so happy she did this for him and did such a great job. Melissa came and brought Daniel for me to watch while she worked at the school till 11.  He was so good and when he was done with the Duplo train set he picked it all up without being told.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came after Lennox's appt. at the Vet.  Daniel told Peyton and Isaac they needed to share ha ha.  There was a truck on the kitchen floor and he got it and said "this doesn't belong there".  He was just so cute and fun and easy to have.  Kimmy trimmed Mocha's face for me.  Mocha looks so much better.  Thanks Kimmy.  She and I got some steps in by running/walking in place.  Vikki's friend, Danielle, got her Goldendoodle today.  So cute and the video of her kids seeing it for the first time was so fun to watch.  Bill and I went to Applebee's to eat and then came home to watch a movie.  Melissa, Bruce and the kids stopped over.  The boys watched a dinosaur movie in the family room and Hailey watched Little House in the Living Room.  Bruce, Melissa, Bill and I played 3-13.  Bill won and was very happy.  Melissa started out really good and then got some bad hands dealt to her.

Love this cute picture of Hailey and Ali...two sweet girls

Got up and walked as I knew I wouldn't get much walking in later and wanted to get my 10,000 for the day.  Listened to the Bible on my speaker as I walked and then listened to worship music.  Scrubbed and waxed the hallway floor and washed all of the glass covers to the chandelier in the foyer.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came over.  Melissa came next and then Kimmy got here.  We had a nice visit and lots of laughs.  After they left, I got ready.  Wes and Gayla came to pick us up at 5 and we headed to pick up Joel.  We went to G's Pizzeria in Bay City for yummy pizza.  Afterwards we went into Riversbend where Joel lives and visited for a few minutes.  We came back to our house and we played 3-13. Gayla won which made the girl's team winners.  We had pie and coffee afterward.  I made a pie in the afternoon and mixed up the filling and the topping.  I asked the girls if they wanted to have a piece and I would make another one later.  They said yes.  Well it was horrible.  I spit it out.  It was so floury that none of us could eat it.  I was so happy we tried it so I didn't serve it to Wes and Gayla.  Thanks for helping me with my second pie Kimmy.  It was yummy.

Got up and did some walking, then went to Vikki's.  Kimmy was there when I got there.  She brought Norman with her so Lenny and Norman had fun playing.  Kimmy decided she would power wash the swings for Vikki and also did the dog pen bricks and back porch.  Everything looked so nice.  The kids got sticks and acted like they were  power washing.  Vikki and I sat and watched Kimmy and moved furniture off the deck.  Rody cooked some wonderful chicken on the grill that he had marinated.  He also put mesquite wood in aluminum foil to put on the grill to add flavor.  He made asparagus too.  He gave us some to taste.  It sure was the best ever.  After Kimmy was done, we went in and had chicken salad sandwiches and asparagus.  So yummy.  Left for the dog park after that and spent some time there.  The dogs had fun and we walked around the edge a couple of times to get steps.  Left for home and did my lesson for the kids tonight.  Went to church and had fun with the kids.  We went outside for a while and they loved it.  Our lesson was on Hope and it was a very good one.  Came home and watched Highway to Heaven.

4/19/16 Good turnout at breakfast and good turnout at care group.....very blessed day

Love when the perennials come up every year.  These were mom and dad's hyacinth and daffodil bulbs I planted.  Great memory of my sweet mom and dad

Roy, Marie, Emily and Derek....we celebrated Roy's 81st birthday at care group tonight

I should have taken the cake picture before I took the candles out.  Now it's a holy cake

12 of us were at breakfast.  Good devotion on patience by Andy.  Went to Melissa's after breakfast.  Love stopping in on Tuesdays for a few minutes to see her and Evan.  Today I had the blessing of seeing Max too.  I should have taken pictures of my sweet boys.  Went to Sam's club to get a cake for Roy.  Went to Aldi's after that to get ice cream.  Came home and cleaned some and got things ready for care group. Luis came over to visit Bill for a while.  Warmed up spaghetti for dinner.  Had a wonderful care group.  Lots of good discussion.  Nice to have Marie and Roy back from Florida.

4/18/16...Dad hung the clothes dryer for the camper up that the girls and families got me for my Birthday. I love it! Thank you so much!T

Clothes dryer the kids and families got me for my birthday.  Dad will hang it higher when we use it but we just wanted to try it.  Goes on so easy and is so nice.

Dad hung our first thing on it.  The bag from the clothes rack ha ha!

Bill relaxing under the canopy he won at the Field and Stream Banquet.

I had to wait for these three big Toms to cross the road.  They went into this yard and then I thought to take the picture

Cutie Isaac
Jared made these beautiful pottery pieces!  Amazing talent!

Kimmy's beautiful Pottery she made!  This is her first time and she did amazing!

It was a beautiful sunny day!  Got up to the 80's and no wind.   Bill and I decided to try our clothes dryer for the camper.  It is so nice and so easy to put on.  Love my birthday gift from the girls and families.  Then we sat up the canopy Bill won.  It went up very easy and is nice to have to put the motorcycle under when we camp and to use for shade other places.  I went to my doctor appointment and got a good report.  My cholesterol was 255 which was high but a month ago when I went to the Health Fare they told me it was registering high and was over 300.  I have been really watching what I am eating and also exercising every day.  Happy it is down that far and she is giving me 4 months to get it down farther.  I am thanking the Lord and asking for Him to help me.  Don't want to go on medicine for it.  Everything else was great and she told me I was really healthy.    Now just have to have my colonoscopy on the 28th.  Praying that goes well too.  Texted Vikki, but didn't get any answer.  Went to her house but she wasn't home.  Checked all the parks but she wasn't at any of them.  I got home and her car was parked in the driveway.  I was so happy.  She and the kids were in the backyard visiting with Bill.  I made spaghetti and then Vikki, the kids and I went to the dog park.  Lennox had so much fun with this dog there.  They were playing the whole time. We went to the kids playground afterwards and Peyton made a little friend.  Vikki brought me home and Bill and I did our lesson for our Bible Study.  Great lesson on Hope.  Love Kimmy and Jared's pottery.  They are so amazing how they learn something and then are so good at it right away.

Kim Reminder and Kim Seager made this cute sock bouquet

Stacey was so sweet and loved and was excited over everything she opened

Emily was a great help opening presents and was so organized

Our worship and church service were amazing today.  The Holy Spirit was present in an awesome way.  After church I came home and changed and went to Stacey Simmermacher's shower.  Phyllis saved me a seat at her table.  We ate right away when we got there.  Then all of us Elder's wives prayed over Stacey and the baby.  We played a couple of games and then  Stacey opened her gifts.
She got lots of nice things and was so excited over every one.  She is very sweet and thankful and reminds me of my sweet daughters.  It took a long time for her to open up all the gifts but Emily was a great help and so organized it helped to make it faster than it would have taken.  Came home and read on my book outside and enjoyed the nice weather.  Bill was working on the motorcycle as it broke down on him Thurs. night.  He didn't get it fixed though so will have to take it in.  Praying it is something easy and cheap.  We watched Herbie Goes Bananas and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and had popcorn.
