Papa and one of his boys!  Jack loved sitting by Papa

If you look really close you will see that these kids have spots on them.  Yikes, I had to stay away from them until Jesus healed them.  They had so much fun acting out the story of the 10 lepers.  Two of our lepers weren't here tonight though so we only had 8.  The girl with her hand up was the only one who returned to thank Jesus.  When I asked them what they would really do if Jesus healed them though, all of them said they would thank him.  I have such great kids!

Thought this was so cute of Isaac with his spots.

Kimmy came this morning and we headed over to Vikki's.  Debbie was just leaving when we got there so we gave her a hug before she left.  We asked Melissa to go to Frankenmuth with us, but she was at Bible Study so couldn't go.  We left to go and took the country way.  Stopped and got some nice 5 gallon buckets for Kimmy that we saw on our way.  Got to Frankenmuth and took a few pictures before we went in.  Kimmy couldn't find her Zehnder's card so we went to see about getting a new one, but the girl said she could just show the server her license.  It was easy and she gave Kimmy a new card right at our table.  Kimmy and Vikki had their free all you can eat family style chicken dinner and I had a half hot chicken sandwich, mashed potatoes and dressing.  I also got to eat all the good delicious stuff the girls didn't like.  The girls asked the waitress if it would be ok and she said yes.  Sometimes it's good to have fussy girls.  I got the liver pate, stollen bread, and cranberries.  Also had cole slaw and cottage cheese.  The girls got hot fudge sundaes for their dessert with their meal.  I had my dessert downstairs in the bakery with samples of apple pie, sugar cookies and bread with pumpkin spread.  The girls were too stuffed to try any samples and I was stuffed after I ate the samples.  We went to Bronner's afterwards and the girls got their free ornaments.  They were pretty red ones.  We had so much fun looking at all the different ornaments and Nativity sets.  The girls had to pick their kids up, so we headed home.
Bill and I went to Hailey's volleyball game!  Melissa, Bruce and the kids were there and also Bruce's dad.  Their team didn't win but sure played well and had much better teamwork.  Hailey served so good.  Came home and ate and then went to teach Kid's Care Group.  Had a fun lesson and the kids were great.

10/11/16....Vikki and I went to our Election Training

Vikki and I at our Election training

Went to our breakfast!  Had 11 of us there!  After breakfast, I went to Melissa's and
we went to McDonald's Nursery to walk around.  Enjoyed looking at everything, but there were some very high priced items.  Came home and cooked squash. Then packed up some chicken noodle soup and took it to Charlie and Sue.  Spent time with Sue and walked around her big yard.  It was a beautiful sunny day.  Left there, came home, changed and headed to the township hall for our Election training.  Vikki and I were the only ones from the precinct we are working.  Our Chair wasn't even there.  We ended up sitting with another group.  They ran into a few problems because our trial ballots had precinct one from our table and they were 2 so it wouldn't accept the ballots and they had to be marked spoiled.  We learned a lot of things, like if someone comes with a shirt with Clinton or Trump on it, we have to have them turn it inside out or cover it up with something.
We went and checked out where we would be working and stopped at Tony's on our way back.

10/10/16...Walked the rail trail with Vikki today!

Made Noodle Soup today!

Bill walked at the Sports Zone and I slept in.  I shampooed the upstairs carpets and then called Vikki to see if she wanted to walk the rail trail.  She did so we met and walked.  We saw Cathleen and Ruth and walked a little ways with them.  Then Vikki and I went ahead of them and walked on the sidewalk and then down the street and around till we got back to our cars.  Vikki was feeling faint when we got back to the car.  She hadn't eaten and was pretty warm.  She felt better once she got some pop and food in her.  When I got home, Bill was working on the shed.  It is looking great. I went and pulled the plastic up around my rosebush and by the front of the house.  It was hard work because of all the roots, but I finally got a lot of it done.  I have some scratches on my arms to prove it was me that done it.  Ha Ha. It looks so much better.  Made noodle soup and then after we ate, I called Vikki and we went looking for her birthday present.  Came home and relaxed with Bill.

10/9/16....Went to church in the morning and care group in the evening

Mocha was wearing her coat...it was cold this morning 39 degrees.  Still haven't turned our furnace on!  Electric throws and blanket sure are nice.

It was a napping kind of day.  I woke up to take the pictures of my napping buddies

We had a very cool night.  No frost here yet though.  Went early to church because I teach Sunday School today.  Had 13 kids in my class today.  Took a little gift and card to Kaiden.  He has pneumonia and hasn't been at church for a few weeks.  I was going to give it to his grandma, but then she showed me he was there.  I gave the gift to him and gave him a hug. He didn't come into my class as he didn't want to cough around the other kids.  We had a very relaxing day!  Even got a nap in.  Went over our lesson and went to care group at church.  It was a good lesson on resolving conflict.  Our care group took the snacks tonight.  We had crackers, cheese, sausage, salmon, fruit, cookies apples and caramel.  YUM!  Watching the debate now!

Missionaries are of the far side of the table.  They were so nice.

We sat around and listened to Roz and Ron share about their lives
Went to Melissa for a couple of minutes.  Next I went to Jack's and got meat.  I made chicken in the crock pot and also sloppy joes for our potluck.  Everyone started coming around 6.  We ate yummy potato salad, pasta salad, veggie pizza, fruit, and cookies.  We were all sitting in the living room and Nancy got up and left the room.  I thought she was just going to the bathroom.  She had Meredith get me and so I went to check on her and she had been throwing up and was really weak.  I prayed over her and got her a cold washcloth, then got her husband so he could take her home.  We all prayed as a group for her while Randy was helping her get ready.  Felt so bad for her.  Sure was hoping it wasn't anything with the food.  Prayed no one else would get sick.  It was very nice getting to know our care group missionaries.  They are really close friends of Bill and Sabrina, some friends of our from Faith Riders.

10/8/16....Had our church outflow at Abortion Alternatives today! Saw where Vikki and I will be working the election

Good team work today

Vikki, Ryan, Sam, Linda and Amy!  I had Ryan in my Pioneer Class when he was a first grader.  He just moved and goes to the school Kimmy works at now.

This is the basement crew and our care group was the main floor crew!

Got up, got ready and headed to church to meet up with all the other care groups and head to Abortion Alternatives to help move them to another building.  It went really fast with all the help we had.  We had subway for lunch.  It was yummy.  We went to a building right across the street and moved lots of stuff there and then went to St. Peter and Pauls and moved lots of stuff in there.  That is the school Vikki and I will be working the election at so it was so nice to be able to see it ahead of time and know where we are going.  Had a great time working with everyone.  Roy and Marie were great helpers carrying stuff out and loading it.  Roy is 80 so he was pretty amazing.

10/6/16..The girls all came over today, Went to Bob Evans to see sister, Carol

Kimmy came over first, then Vikki got her and then Melissa.  We sat and visited while I tried to figure out a pattern to crochet at towel holder.  We had turkey sandwiches for lunch.  After we ate, Bill called to see if the girls and I wanted to come meet him and Carol at Bob Evans.  I told him we had already ate, but would come for dessert.  We headed there and were so happy to see Carol.  Bill helped look at a car with her she is buying.  He got some good deals for her.  I had coffee and banana bread.  The girls had french vanilla caps.  I gave Melissa one of my pieces of banana bread.
Came home and started cleaning the family room.  Went to our Faith Rider's officer's meeting at Wes and Gayla's.  Bill did great leading the meeting.
