Max has been wanting to hold a fox (or have a fox) lately and today he got to hold this cutie

Today was fawn day....Besides Max holding and feeding one, Kody saw this one in his yard.  He couldn't touch it because they wanted to mom to come back.  Very cool!

It was a nice morning and they took rain out of the forecast until 4.  I made blueberry pancakes and sausage for our breakfast, and we all drank lots of coffee.  I went down to see what the other ladies were going to do, because I knew they weren't going on the ride.  Betty was dressed ready to go on the ride, and the other ladies wanted to go to garage sales.  Betty can't walk good enough to go to lots of garage sales, so she decided she didn't want to go on the ride if no other ladies were going and she wasn't able to do the garage sales.  She was going to stay in her camper.  Since it was warmer and dry with the sun shining, I told her I would get ready fast and go on the ride.  We sure went on some nice hilly and curvy roads.  I stayed nice and warm and really enjoyed going to Dublin to the Dublin Country Store.  It was huge with lots of nice things.  When we got back, I made banana cream pudding dessert and also a salad.  Everyone was saying my Banana Cream dessert was award winning too just like my chili.  It was getting cool out, but we ate in the pavilion and they had a nice fire pit with a chimney to direct the smoke up.  Wendy and Shawn brought steaks from an Amish family.  They bought a side of beef and paid $2 per lb.  Great deal and the steaks were sure delicious.  Bill and I had sirloins, which he cooked well done and to perfection.
Ziggy directed our state leadership meeting afterward.  He did a great job.  Bill had to share about our state rally and he did a great job too!  I was proud of him!  The ladies left after that to put stuff away and do dishes, but the guys decided to hang out around the fire pit for a while.  Our camper was nice and toasty with the furnace on.  I had given Ziggy our little heater for back in the back room because it was cool out there.  When I talked to Wendy, she told me she forgot their heater and they were in a tent.  I had Bill ask Ziggy if he would give them the heater and we could just keep the sliding glass door open tonight.  Of course he said yes so they could be warm.  Well, it started cooling off in our camper.  I was trying to figure out why the air conditioning was running at the same time as the furnace.  Bill and Ziggy came back, and we read our Bibles and then talked for a while.  Finally, Bill got up and looked at the thermostat to see if he could figure out why it wasn't working right.  I had looked up how to reset it and had instructions, but he didn't seem to want to do that.  Ziggy said a prayer with us so God would help us figure it out.  It was almost 11 pm at this time.  Well, Bill, looked up how to reset it and decided he would try it.  That cleared the previous programs...1 and 2, and it started working properly with the Auto keeping it at the temperature we set.  I slept all night and didn't even hear Bill get up 4 times to use the bathroom.  It was so cozy.
