Friday, 5/13/22, Rody's Mom's funeral...so good to hear her honored by so many, I will miss her lots!

Rody, Vikki, Isaac, Kenzie and Peyton.  Such a great family picture of them.

Jacob, Peyton and Adam rode with us to the cemetery...We had air...their van's air wasn't working.  We had a fun ride.
Jacob, Eli and Adam were Pallbearers for Rody's Mom's funeral

Me and Vikki having our sundae at the church women's night.  Vikki sure knows how to make a sundae right!
Our table of ladies...we had fun together
Vikki took this picture of our front yard when we got home.  Bill had cut the grass.  Vikki loved how there weren't any mole or vole trails or pop up spots.  I love it too!  Thanks to Kit Kat!

We went to the funeral home at 10.  Rody's brother Jamie greeted us by the door.  I gave his his card, then he walked us in to the front of the funeral home where the family was sitting.
After we gave our condolences, we sat and watched the video.  It was put together so nice and had such nice pictures and memories.  Peyton was having a hard time.  Isaac was too, he just doesn't show it as much.  Vickie's life was honored by many, then Vikki went up and spoke and of course had me in tears.  She cried, but did a great job sharing about special memories of Rody's mom.  After her, Vershon went up, and he was having a hard time, so Rody walked up next to him and hugged him.  Then Rody shared and then Jamie.  It was very touching.  Wes, Gayla and Charlie came to the funeral which meant a lot to us.  We went to the cemetery afterwards.  Kimmy's boys were pallbearers and did a great job and looked so nice.  Bill and I treated family members who wanted to come to the Olive Garden afterwards.  There were 18 of us and it was good to spend time together eating and relaxing after the funeral.  Kimmy and family and Vikki and Peyton came over to our house afterwards.  Peyton went home with Kimmy and Vikki and I went to the Ladies Night Out at our church.  We made yummy sundaes, played an ice breaker game, visited and heard a short Bible message.

We met Kimmy and Jared in Freeland and picked up Peyton and Adam.  Adam spent the night with us in the camper.  It was his first time sleeping in this camper.  Of course we played 3-13 and Skip Bo in the camper too.  Bill won 3-13 and I won Skip Bo.  Poor Adam. We all went to bed after that.  Adam slept in the back room of the camper.  We all slept good, except Bill had to get up 3 times for potty breaks.

Sue was moved last night to St. Francis.  I plan on visiting her soon.
