Eli put Isaac’s bike on for me.  I went home in the morning and dropped Isaac off at his house, then dropped Melissa’s camping chairs off, then went home.  I wanted to be there when my medicine was delivered, so I could go to the doctors to get my lesson on using it.  The doctors office closed at 2 and the medicine didn’t get here in time. Bummer.  I got my shower taken, watered some plants, dead headed some plants, pulled some weeds and gave Kit Kat attention.  Spent time with Bill and finally headed back up north.  Bill said he would wait til my medicine came, and then wound come up to the camper.  When I got there, Kenzie and Peyton went for a swim. Bill came up and walked to the pool with me.  Kenzie asked if he could get them ice cream.  Great memory she always likes to do with Papa.  We went into the store and I saw these cute new dresses they got in.  I told Kenzie it would look good on her.  Then Peyton liked it too so Papa told them to each get one and he would buy them.  The girls were so happy. What a special memory that will be.

We all got ice cream.  Kenzie grabbed the first deer tracks cone and thought it was hers.  Then Bill said he thought she got two flavors.  She asked the girl and found out it was mine.  I took it and she got the kind she ordered.  She was willing to eat it if I didn’t want it cuz she took a bite. I called Vikki to see if she wanted me to bring her one but she didn’t. Kenzie had started a nice fire and made hotdogs and s’mores. We enjoyed sitting around the fire and Vikki and I enjoyed laying in our hammocks by the fire.  We went inside and watched Loves Enduring Promise, which Peyton picked.

Thursday, 7/6/23, Kimmy, Eli and Jack came. Jack and Eli rode bikes, all the kids swam, We took the kids to the beach, scary call from Jared, Kimmy left, Made chicken tenders on the grill, The boys all hung out outside, Peyton and Inplayed 3-13, Vikki and Peyton went to the store.

After breakfast, I read my Bible.  Vikki played the Bible on her phone so Peyton and Isaac could listen. It rained in the morning so we just hung out in the camper.  Kimmy called and was getting close, so I put my rain coat on and drive to run her the parking pass.  It was pouring, but let up by the time I got to Kimmy.  Jack and Eli came and Jack got in my car and Eli ran the pass to Kimmy for me, then Eli came to ride with me.  Eli and Jack went around the campground on their bikes.  They got a little muddy.   Kimmy, Jack, Peyton and I went for a walk around the campground.  When we got back, we ate chicken salad sandwiches.  A couple kids had peanut butter and jelly.  We took the kids to the beach to swim while we visited.  Jared called Kimmy and told her he was in a bad accident.  He was so sad and pretty shook up, but praise God he was Ok and so was the family he hit.  Of course we prayed right away.  We were all pretty shook too, so concerned about Jared and what he was going through.  The other vehicle was totaled and Jared thought his car was, but when the wrecker guy got there he didn’t think so. We did pray that it wasn’t and could be fixed.  The people he hit were so nice and kept asking Jared if he was ok.  They came and prayed for him and all gave him hugs, even the little boy.  God sure let Jared know He was with him which sure gave us all peace.  Kimmy got there and took pictures of the wrecked van.  Kimmy and Jared went and looked at their car and took pictures of it.  Kimmy took Jared home, then she took Jacob to his practice.  She shopped with her Kohls cash while she waited and talked to us on the phone. Vikki and Peyton went to get milk and some other things . The boys came in and told me about the family of raccoons that moved in along the inside of the roof of the pavilion.  A kid was yelling and bothering the raccoons, so the boys got a worker and he took care of the matter and thanked Jack and Eli.

They helped Vikki with the groceries when she got back.  Then they went out and played with the light sabers.  Kimmy called us when she got home.  Jared was getting a little sore so praying it doesn’t get worse.  We are so very thankful to God that he didn’t get hurt badly or killed.  It could have been a whole lot worse.  We sure all love our Jared!!!

Peyton and I played 3-13.  She played great and paid attention to when it was her turn.  We have to play the last hand tomorrow. The boys ate cereal.  We all went to bed after that.

Cute picture Melissa sent me of Max and the dog

I woke up at 7. I walked to the store to see what time they open today.  Isaac got up at 8.  We ate, then sat outside while I read my Bible. We decided to go for a bike ride to see if we could sign up to have our tanks emptied.  We found the guy that does it and got on his list.

At 10 the store opened so we went and paid them the money to have it done.  Isaac saw a pop up keychain wristlet he liked so I got him and Peyton one.  We went back to the camper and Vikki was up.  Peyton was just getting up.  She liked the surprise I got her.

We all went swimming and we’re the only ones in the pool for a while. Some grandparents with 5 grandkids, were in the hot tub, but came back to the pool and said the hot tub was colder than the pool.  Vikki and the kids went to take showers.  We hung out in the camper for a while after that. The guy came to empty the tanks. That was good to have done.

We went to Purtells in Pinconning to eat.  Vikki and the kids had breakfast and I had a Reuben sandwich which was delicious!  Thank you for treating me Vikki!  When we were done, we went to Northwoods to walk around.  I got Isaac’s birthday present and will give it to him on his birthday.

We came back to the camper and took a short nap.  Kenzie called me when I was just waking up.

It got super windy, so we put everything in the clam and put the awning in.  It was supposed to rain but didn’t.  The kids went fishing.  Vikki and I walked down to watch them for a while, then walked around the campground.  Melissa called me so we talked to her while we walked.  When the kids came back to the camper, We played 3-13.  I won.  Peyton came in second.  It rained for a short time.  We all had cereal for a snack .

Pictures from Hailey took on her job. I didn’t post the ones of her with the kids, but they were so cute.  Hailey is great with kids.

Vikki and I made eggs, sausage and toast for breakfast.  The kids loved it.  We played 3-13 and I was the winner.  I had 17 and Vikki had over 150 and the kids had over 250.  I kept getting great cards.

We ate, then went into town to Rita’s to get yummy ice cream.  It was 90 out so we ate it in the air conditioned car and finished them at a roadside park.  We came back to the camper and watched the movie, the Woodcarver.  Great message on how God changes lives.  We went outside after that, but it started raining and Vikki saw a mosquito so back in we went.
Hailey surprised her mom and dad today and came home for the day.  She came with her friend, Bella, from her work.  Bella’s grandparents live in Saginaw so they visited them too.  Her grandpa knows Bill and also rides motorcycles with some people from our church.  He was in DaNang, Vietnam when Bill was.  It sure is a small world.  Bill was home mowing the lawn and getting some things done.  He was going to go to the fireworks with Bruce Melissa and the boys in the evening..

Monday, 6/3/23, took Maddy to her appointment, got stuff done. At home, came back up north.

Maddy said, do you want to take a picture. Ha ha, she meant a selfie of all of us and I thought she meant for me to take a picture of them.  We had a good laugh
Our actual selfie Maddy took

We got done with the above picture and Alec, Maddy’s husband, sent this picture .  He got hurt on the job and was being taken to the hospital. She called her mom to go to the hospital to be with him because we were an hour away. He is going to be lo, just badly bruised and a gouge by his eye we are praying heals quickly.  He had to have a CAT Scan because he couldn’t remember anything.  That was good, so they sent him home.

I got up early and picked Maddy and Brielle up at 7 to get to Maddy’s 8 a.m. appointment In Brighton.  We couldn’t get the car seat in, so Alec came out and helped.  We had a nice time catching up with one another on our ride. Brielle slept all the way.
While Maddy was in for her appointment, Wewent to the Cafe and I had a Starbucks coffee and bagel sandwich which I shared with Brielle.  I walked Brielle around in her stroller and lots of people commented on how beautiful she was and how smiley and cute.  After Maddy was done, we went to a pizza place and Maddy bought my lunch even though I didn’t want her to.  When we got done, Maddy found out Alec got hurt at work and was being taken to the hospital.  She had her mom go up to the hospital to be with him.  We headed home and I dropped them off, went home and did what I needed to do, then headed back up north!  The kids went fishing and caught some little ones.  One kid caught a big snapping turtle.  His dad helped release it.Vikki and the kids went to the Dollar store so I vacuumed the floors, then scrubbed the kitchen and bathroom floors.  They got back right when I got done. We played 3-13 then watched the movie, Flywheel.  Such a great message about doing what God says.  The kids loved it.
