Jack with his awards
| Jack walking out with his kindergarten chapel buddy Bruce, Jack and Melissa Jack and his chapel buddy Conner and Jack Jack with his 8th grade graduation certificate
Congratulations Jack! We are so proud of you and love you so much! Papa, Jack and I Jacob in the middle on the right. He will be graduating with honors tomorrow night. Today the seniors marched through the elementary and middle school wearing their caps and gowns. I am very proud of him. He did duel enrollment, going to college also and was in the top 8 of his class. Love you Jacob, and can't wait to see you graduate tomorrow night. Then onward to MSU!!! |

I caught an opossum in the morning. I thought it was a raccoon until I looked closely. I went outside early to water some dry new grass and a few plants. I skimmed the pool and put the solar cover on to warm it up quickly with this hot weather. I ate a muffin Charlie sent home with Bill for me for breakfast. I had an iced coffee with it that I made. Kenzie called me and I talked to her for a while. I can't wait to find out what she is having.
I read my Bible out on the deck and did some praying. Kit Kat didn't join me today. She must be under the deck where it is cool for her. It was warm on the deck, but not uncomfortable for me. Very thankful for shade. I am so thankful the boys helped Bill get the air conditioner in on Saturday. We are sure enjoying that.
Bill had to go for a bladder test. He got a good report…no cancer. Praise God!
In the evening, we went to Old Town Drive In and got coney dogs, fries and root beers. Yum!
Then we went to Jack's graduation from 8th grade. It was a nice ceremony. Jack got lots of awards. He is a great kid who is kind and thoughtful. I sure am proud of my Jack. Did those kindergarteners ever sing good. Nice a loud so everyone could hear. After the kindergartners received their certificates, they showed a cute video of the 8th graders when they were in kindergarten, and one of the kindergarteners and 8th graders. They had cake and juice afterwards. It was fun!
